About

LEZ ZEPPELIN (USA)

Jimmy Page attended their concert in London and said “They were extraordinary and superb musicians. Joe Perry of Aerosmith said he’s never heard it done better while the respected US Rock magazine SPIN called them the most powerful all-female band in rock history. And when the Guardian claimed they are the best tribute band in the world and The Gazette telling everyone that these 4 girls rocked harder and louder than their male counterparts you have an event not to be missed, especially if you are a fan of not just Led Zeppelin, but hard energy rock.

Founded in 2004 by New York Guitarist Steph Paynes (Recognised as the best female guitarist in the world) The all-girl quartet have been driving audiences into a frenzy.

This is their first tour down under and if other countries are any indication, you better get your tickets early.

Great energetic band in an intimate setting

by SBSTECH on 5/1/23Gramercy Theatre - New York

First time seeing Lez Zeppelin and first time at Grammercy theater. Expected doors to open @ 6 but didnt until 7:15. The show and venue were top notch. The band is absolutely doing the songs justice and are all extremely talented. I found the mix a little muddy, drums overshadowed the guitars.

    Just ok

by Bossparker on 1/10/23The Showroom at Turning Stone Resort Casino - Verona

Musically they were good. I do not like their choice of songs from Led Zeppelin and they only played for 90 minutes. Really short for a show

    My Zeppelin Experience

by Led Zeppelin fan on 1/10/23The Showroom at Turning Stone Resort Casino - Verona

Until the Lez Zeppelin show on Saturday, I really couldn’t imagine what seeing Led Zeppelin live would be like - thank you so much ladies. The drumming was spot on, bass guitar & vocals perfect as well. However, as a huge Jimmy Page fan it was going to be all about the lead guitarist and…. Steph Paynes nailed it!!! She played simply amazing, with ease and absolutely in the style of Jimmy Page. Can’t wait to see then again!

    Concert attendees

by Not thrilled on 1/10/23The Showroom at Turning Stone Resort Casino - Verona

Band was ok.. would not attend another show based on other tribute bands we have seen that are better. Lead singer was to theatrical at times during the show to the point of us feeling uncomfortable with what was going on.

    Lez Zeppelin Rocks!

I generally speaking avoid "tribute bands" but Lez Zeppelin is probably the best of such and well worth seeing -- close your eyes and its 1975!

Awesome Group / Sony Needs to do better

by Jac on 1/9/23Sony Hall - New York

Ladies did a wonderful job but there was some technical issues with the singer’s microphone and the instruments. The drums were loud & drowned out the singing. They all performed very well though. All very talented females and hats off to them. Also the venue tried to have too many people at the table. It was a table of 4 and they try to jam 6 people not considering people vary in size.

Lez Zeppelin was the bomb as usual!!!! They blew me away a second time!!!!! The talent in their band is remarkable!!!! Of course I'm in love with the lead singer, who wouldn't be!!!!!! But the seats were a bit cramped. That's the only complaint I really have! Can't wait to have them come back to this same venue! I'll be there!!!!

The band was fantastic. The sound was way too loud.

by Mango on 1/9/23Sony Hall - New York

The sound engineers had the volume up to loud there was way too much feedback. You couldn’t hear the vocals that they were drowned out by the drums or the bass. It was so loud we were sitting up front that my ears were hurting we had to give up our seats to go stand by the bar because it was in the back of the venue. It was a shame because the band is fantastic but the loud sounds just ruined it and not just for me. I noticed halfway through the event that a lot of people are leaving an hour cocktail waitress said it was because it was too loud

    LEZ doing LED

by JrzyJeff on 11/21/22The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red Bank

I was eager to see these gals after both Plant & Page gave them a thumbs up and I was quite impressed! The lead singer had such good body language, smile, personality and an AMAZING voice! Like WOW! The lead guitarist was also a real treat. She emulated some of the best R&R riffs ever so well it was easy to hear. She was also AWESOME! The bass/keyboard player was good, versatile and spot on. The drummer played hard like Bonzo did and she honored him with some great drumming. I would absolutely see them again and I highly recommend seeing them!

    ran out of gas

by ShoreGuy on 11/21/22The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red Bank

as the title says, didn't last the evening. First hour was nothing short of spectacular highlight being 'Kashmir'. But after an hour or so, performance became a tedious. Maybe I was tired or else their performance was too one note. It also didn't help that the warm up band - some Red Bank wonders that were a shade above awful. Still Vogel remains best venue in state - sound was superb.

These ladies are pure magic on stage. Individually they are master musicians, but together they are fire!! Their obvious respect for one another as artists show in every performance. This band is a must see.
