As U2 fans, my wife and I really enjoyed the show and Mickey's is a great venue we have visited in the past. Been going to concerts since the 60s and this was absolutely the worst crowd I have ever seen. Totally unresponsive and many looked like they did not want to be there.??
Our entire group had a great time at the Red Bank show. Wonderful re-creation of U2 in concert!
Just saw their Joshua Tree Tour show at The Vogel and all I can say is WOW! The band and the room was on fire! The singer KILLED it and got the whole place singing along numerous times. Boundless energy and amazing. I understand they don’t play a lot of shows so if you get the chance DO NOT MISS THEM!
I'm NOT a U2 fan but the wife is - Invited to see this band by friends who raved about them and had 2 extra tickets I figured "hey its a free night out" and expected to be bored and uninterested. These guys are friggin GOOD!! I'm also not a fan of these tribute bands that dress up or try and look like an artist. I find it cheesy. Sure the Edge guy had some of that look and the Bono dude wore the black and the glasses but they weren't trying to "be" the performers. it finally clicked and to me this band is what a "tribute" should be. Really REALLY entertaining and while I didn't know all the songs they kept me engaged and interested. My wife came away crushing these guys LOL! We just got tickets for their next show and can't wait. Thanks Almost U2 for taking a cynic and making him a fan!
Kidding of course but we came away from a recent show incredibly impressed. Tight sound, great arrangements we saw these guys at a small venue but their sounds was BIG and they had the place jumping! Powerful vocals and the Bono and Edge guys were sooooooo good (bass and drums too!) We just bought tickets for their Joshua Tree show at The Vogel. Cant wait! Go see this band!
Went to Light of Day cover/tribute thing in Asbury recently and stumbled upon this band. Oh man they were awesome!! Not the most well known in the lineup but by far were the best act that day! Will definitely be going to their Vogel show in Red Bank this spring.
Covered all the classic hits and a few deep cuts with some different twists and renditions that were played beautifully.First time seeing this band and won't be the last they're a true tribute in that its about "honoring" the music of U2, not trying to actually "be" U2. Bravo!!
We've seen a bunch of U2 tributes and these guys nail it! Tight, GREAT song selection, unique versions of live performances, really gave us our money's worth! They may not be look-a-likes but they made my ears happy!! Whether a U2 geek like me or just a casual fan that loves live music, go see these guys!!
This band is really great. They played SO many U2 classics and put on an entertaining show. Alot like seeing U2 in a small theatre. Will most certainly see them again when they come back around.
Saw them at the Vogel in Red Bank, NJ. This band knows how to put on a show. Not just playing the songs like the record, but really delivering them like U2 would in concert. Lots of singing along and the crowd was really energetic and singing-along. Will definitely see them again.
