My family and I enjoyed attending the ballet GISELLE very much and we must congratulate The Lexington Ballet, its team and choreographer for an amazing performance of GISELLE last Saturday night, The dancers, the music, the lighting, all was perfect. We cannot wait to see The Nutcracker in December at The Opera House in Lexington.
The production was beautiful. The performers seemed to put their heart and soul into the production. They were definitely not just going through the motions. It was phenomenal to see the students of the Lexington Ballet performing on stage with such accomplished professionals. The students are wonderful dancers in their own right and contributed greatly it a wonderful evening of dance. The students are obviously very passionate about dance and very committed to doing their part to make the production a delight for the audience. It was a wonderful evening.
The ballet. was an overall a good experience! I enjoyed the venue with an intimate feel, as well as the talent.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this production of Snow White. We were both eager to see it as it was our first time seeing a Snow White ballet and also our first time at the Lexington Opera House. We felt very impressed by the professionalism, talented dancers, and creativity of the show. We definitely look forward to seeing more ballets in the future.
Both children and adults seemed spellbound by the dancers. We noticed all ages and experience levels of ballerinas. Sets, special effects and costumes were outstanding. (We bumped into the Evil Queen outside the theater; she was so friendly with our four-year old. That positive experience added to her thrill of seeing her first ballet. Kudos to the Evil Queen!)
What a wonderful Saturday afternoon. The artistic director is to be applauded for the creativity of the production. The dancers.. also were fantastic. Kudos to the younger ones, especially, for making Snow White come alive for all of us. I look forward to the next production from Lexington Ballet!
Beautiful ballet, moving music, excellent dancers, wonderful choreography, the perfect evening thanks to Lexington Ballet, Luis Dominguez, Nancy Dominguez and all dancers.
Very entertaining. The dancers did a fantastic job.
Show was excellent with costuming, choreography, dancers. The witch was particularly amazing. The dwarves stole the show with their personalities. As wonderful as the show was buying the tickets online was not good. It took 3 different days for the Buy Your Tickets to send me on to buying my tickets.
Always love the set designs at LOH, and the dancers were lovely. Casting was done well for the characters, and it's nice to have so many groups of younger dancers able to be on stage.
Wonderful tribute to the Ballets Russes. The Lexington Ballet dancers were amazing, nice to have several new team members including a Japanese male dancer from Kyoto and 2 fantastic African American male dancers from the US: All are excellent! Congratulations!
