  • Absolutely AMAZZZZing

by ElBigAl on 10/13/25Aztec Theatre - San AntonioRating: 5 out of 5

My wife and I really wanted to see and experience Leonid & Friends based on their YouTube videos. We had no way of knowing that our experience would be be so amazing. The show is everything that we expected and much more. Pure energy! We were teenagers in the 1970s so we knew what this music really sounded and felt like. Leonid and his Friends have made the past come back to life. I am not the same since the show last Friday. I am humbled by their interpretation, their energy and their representation of our brothers from Russia/Ukraine. They bring the world music that transcends war, conflicts and past aggressions. The entire world needs to experience this event and the love they bring to all of us through their musical interpretation. Mandando amor y abrazos a mis hermanos de Rusia y Ukrania.

  • So so

I would have to say it was just OK for me. I expected to hear more earth, wind and fire songs which they didn’t think the only play maybe one or two all the songs from me Chicago’s music Steely Dan, which I’m not really familiar with Steely Dan and some other songs that I didn’t know but overall, I’d say it was an average concert.

  • Great show!

by Lolo on 10/13/25Aztec Theatre - San AntonioRating: 5 out of 5

They cover the songs very very well. They definitely give Chicago, Earth Wind & Fire, The Carpenters & Stevie Wonder justice. Was a great show. Would definitely recommend seeing them live. Can’t forget there original songs they did. Great harmonies by all.

The concert was great. Entry to get in the venue was a nightmare. Got there at 730 for 8pm concert. People lined up for almost 3 blocks. One person scanning tickets. Finally a second person. Didn’t get in till 825. Missed the first 2 songs. This need to be fixed or I won’t go back.

  • Blast from the Past

by Herky on 10/13/25Aztec Theatre - San AntonioRating: 4 out of 5

I went to this concert in San Antonio at the Aztec theater. It was my first time attending this theater and it was really nice. The band put on a great show and I enjoyed the music that they played. The only downfall to my experience was that I had a seat up in the balcony and the sound was not great when the singers were singing- hard to understand them. I would recommend this band to others , but would not buy another seat in the balcony again.

  • Outstanding Musicianship

by Coco on 10/13/25Aztec Theatre - San AntonioRating: 5 out of 5

We were transported back to younger days when we attended concerts. The energy in the house was palpable and the house was rocking. Leonid and Friends are not just any ordinary tribute cover band; no, they are consumate professionals. Definitely will attend their next concert in San Antonio. It will be our fourth concert attendance.

  • Fantastic Band

by Tho on 10/13/25Aztec Theatre - San AntonioRating: 5 out of 5

While the Aztek in San Antonio needs to improve its entry plan, Leonid and Friends put on a truly awesome show.Vocals and musicians were amazing . Oleg alone is worth the price for his hijinks.and sexy sax.

  • Talented Group!

by Jay on 10/13/25Aztec Theatre - San AntonioRating: 4 out of 5

I'm thankful to finally see Leonid & Friends. While nothing matches the perfection of their studio recordings, their live performance had very few mistakes. (The sound mix was a bit off during the first three songs.) It was an enjoyable set list, and everyone there seemed to have a great time. This was our first visit to the Aztec Theatre, and it was extremely disappointing. Only one employee was checking everyone's digital tickets (no printed tickets allowed), which caused a line that stretched two blocks! Another employee was seen checking the line 20 minutes before the show started, and people were still trying to find their seats 45 minutes after it began. There were very few ushers to help in the dark! Unbelievably poor management! We will not attend another show there.

  • Spectacular Performance

by Bill on 10/13/25Aztec Theatre - San AntonioRating: 5 out of 5

I had the immense pleasure of attending Leonid and Friends' performance on October 10, 2025, at the Aztec Theater in San Antonio, Texas, and it was nothing short of spectacular! I first discovered this incredible band through Facebook posts, then dove into their music on YouTube and their website. Ever since, I’ve been eagerly anticipating a live show. From the moment they took the stage, I felt an electric energy that transported me back to the golden age of music. As I closed my eyes during their soulful renditions, it was as if I was witnessing the original performances of those classic hits. The band has an amazing ability to capture the essence and spirit of that era, making it a truly nostalgic experience. The musicianship of Leonid and Friends is outstanding. Each member is incredibly talented, and they complement each other perfectly. The harmonies were spot-on, and the instrumental solos had the audience roaring with approval. The passion and joy they exuded while performing were infectious, keeping everyone engaged and dancing throughout the concert. The Aztec Theater was the perfect venue for this experience, with its stunning architecture and perfect acoustics. The atmosphere was vibrant, and you could feel the excitement in the air as fans of all ages united over their love for great music. Overall, Leonid and Friends brought a night of sheer joy and nostalgia to San Antonio. I can't recommend them highly enough for anyone who appreciates great music. If you ever get the chance to see them live, don’t hesitate; it's an experience you won’t want to miss! I hope they come but perform at a larger venue!

  • Greatest Cover band!

by Joyo on 10/13/25Aztec Theatre - San AntonioRating: 5 out of 5

Leonid and Friends knocked it out of the park such that they sounded better than the original artist (Chicago, Ambrosia, Tower of Power, Stevie Wonder, and The Carpenters). My sister who was celebrating her birthday said it was the best concert she had gone to! My brother in law who is a musician was blown away with how each song sounded the same as the original but even better!

  • Awesome. Thrilling. Perfect!

Wonderful experience from the fifth row center at Ameristar Casino and Hotel hearing and seeing Leonid and Friends in person. What a great band! First time my wife and I saw them in person. We also met wonderful people there who had seen them many times. Great sound, great venue.

These are some of the most amazing musicians I have ever heard and their vocals have no limit to their ranges.

This is the fifth time we have seen them and always look forward to them coming to Kansas City. Really enjoyed some of the new songs they threw in this time as well as the oldies Great band and truly good people.

  • FABULOUS CONCERT

by Chris on 10/6/25Ameristar Casino and Hotel - Kansas CityRating: 4 out of 5

Through Facebook, I saw a video of Leonid & Friends and couldn't believe how much they sounded like Earth, Wind & Fire and Chicago. So, I went to their website and saw that they were going to be at The Ameristar in Kansas City in a few weeks. I thought it would be a fun concert, but never imagined how dynamic the band would be. I'm 79 and to my surprise the audience was all about my age, but still young at heart and ready to rock on with the beat of the 70s and 80s fusion sound of rock, jazz and pop combined. Perhaps the sound level was a tad too high and glad we were in the rear section. Can't say enough about the musical talent and vigorous production.

  • Awesome show

Wonderful concert & musicianship. This is the 2nd of their concerts that I have attended. All have been great

  • Much fun, great talent!

  • Breathtakingly explosive!

by HofoPillies1 on 10/6/25Ameristar Casino and Hotel - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

This is a team effort, well balanced and choreographed—so many talented muscians to watch at once. The "Lovely"Sandi, the trumpet player with a body and musicality to admire, the ever animated sax player "Saxy", the singer with Barry Gibbs range, Leonid, who has assembled a perfect group of players, the guitar player who does the riffs from Steely Dan, and better, the whole night just glows in my mind. Thank you for the Russian beauty with American overtones. Where was Mr. P, and why doesn't he tour with you?

First time seeing this group and outstanding show and fun to listen to songs of the 70’s .
