This was our 7th Leonid and Friends concert and once again they did not disappoint..Will see them again in September at the Carnegie in Munhall, PA
First off, I would rather see L & F than see Chicago. Add to that the relative 'cheap' price of seeing them as compared to Chicago going thru the motions at triple the price. Leonid also has a superior set list and also the incomparable Ksenia
The band sounded and looked great! This was our fourth time we have seen them and they seem more comfortable and at-ease on stage with huge audience love and support!
This group was amazing g. Waited a long time for them and it was worth the wait. Not only played Chicago and Earth Wind and Fire, but excellent versions of Blood Sweat and Tears and Tower of Tower. Plus threw in a Carpenters classic. Anazing
Penn’s Peak was a great venue. We really enjoyed the show. Ticketmaster is ridiculous in their pricing of tickets.
Had only seen group on YouTube. They were much more animated and personable in person. The venue, P
Leonid and Friends are more than a cover band. Close your eyes and you think you are listening to Chicago, Earth Wind and Fire and Blood Sweat and Tears. Amazing
Everyone on the stage was ON that night. Waiting to go back next year.
We arrived at the venue roughly 45 minutes before showtime and made our way through the parking lot, several spaces and aisles of which were clogged with tailgate parties. I bought two tickets, balcony level row A. Should be good, right? Eh… no. We were parked right behind a pole making it impossible to see the stage. There was no indication that these seats were “obstructed view.” After wandering through a shoulder to shoulder crowd to find a representative to help us with reseating we were offered floor seats in the last row next to the sound board, where we were assured we’d have a “clear view.” The clear view I had was of the back of the head of the roughly 6’4” guy in front of me (which was why Balcony row A appealed to us in the first place.). All in all a negative experience; we left after less than an hour. If I wanted to just listen to music I could stay home and turn on the radio. But don’t get me wrong. Leonid and Friends is a terrific and talented band I won’t hesitate to see again— at a better venue.
Excellent performance by the masterful Leonid & Friends! Great venue and staff! Thank you for a wonderful evening!
The music we thought we were going to hear and what they actually performed, as well as the lead singer being completely different, were the complete opposite of what we thought we would be hearing. The regular appearance of the band manager, was very annoying and unprofessional, especially doing an auction of a shirt. He needs to stay off stage. It decreased the performance time significantly. We talked to some other people that attended the concert, and they were disappointed as well. On a positive note, the band members are excellent musicians.
Wasn’t the same band that I saw on YouTube. No strings, only one sax and one trombone and a different vocalist and drummer. Sound at Penn’s speak sounded like cheap karaoke machine. Seating on funeral home folding chairs. Needless to say was a waste of money. Anyone considering seeing this band should save their money!
Very disappointed with this Venue. Will never return. PA system only pushing out low range, and mid level. The brass sound was non existent, Igor on Drums too heavy with Leonid on Bass, just over bearing deep distorted bass and drums. Where did they plug in at? I saw no sound board. Love the band, but again this venue SUCKS. On the way out down the stairs you can see the neglect as the side railing is detached from stair case. Just waiting for a kaw suit. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED... Drove 1.5 hours to see them . Again nothing against the band but the sound was just HORRIBLE.
Note for note these musicians and vocalists nailed it! What a great night for music, can’t wait to see them perform again! Very nice venue, first time there, would go back in a heartbeat! Beautiful view of the ocean from the windows! Come back soon!
They never disappoint. Unreal talent and very polished and exciting performance. Don’t miss them if they are playing close to you!
Absolutely tremendous! Great showmanship, great musical talent !! Thoroughly enjoyed every minute!
This is the 4th time seeing them and they never disappoint! They are great! If you get the chance to see them you should.
They play all your favorites, and better than the original groups
Leonid and Friends did not disappoint. They are tight and do a great job on all of their cover versions.
These musicians and singers played for three hours with one 15 minute break. Chicago, Earth Wind&Fire, SteelyDan covers The performance was electrifying. Entertaining! I danced in my seat and was electrified for my long commute home.
