  • Leonid and Friends Hit it out of the Park!

by GramJoy on 9/23/24Kalamazoo State Theatre - KalamazooRating: 5 out of 5

We were not disappointed! The venue was perfect for L+F, who played their hearts out. We had seats in the front row of the mezzanine. My husband was thrilled with the seats that I bought. This band does Chicago better than Chicago!!! Leonid is a Master. I love the addition of Lighthouse and Earth, Wind and Fire to their set list. We definitely go see them again.

Chicago is my favorite band of all time. Leonid & Friends came up on husbands FB. I could not believe it was a tribute band. They are so spot on!. We bought tickets to see for ourselves. By far it was 1 of the best concerts ever. Leonid & Friends are highly talented, spot on with their music and vocals. They really get into their performance and keeps the audience engaged. They are a must see! I am definitely going again!

  • Great Show!

by Jruss on 9/23/24Kalamazoo State Theatre - KalamazooRating: 4 out of 5

We have seen Leonid & Friends 3 times. Two times at the Blue Gate Theater in Shipshewana Indiana. We had a hard time hearing the horn section. There were no spotlights to focus on the musicians during parts of the show when they were being highlighted.

  • Fabulous!

Such talented, professional musicians! And a bonus getting to meet them after the show.

  • Leonid Knows How To Throw A Big Party!!

by Tim Jackson on 6/14/24Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

This band of Leonid & Friends is simply brilliant both on video and live in concert! This show was a party from the first notes to the selfie with the audience after the encore. A night of hit songs performed by a group of skilled musicians that play the tunes nearly note for note. The highlight for me and it seemed most of the audience was when they played their latest release "Superstar"by Carpenters featuring the lovely Ksenia Buzina on vocals. They played rock and roll and dance and pop and the horns were blaring through on all those classic Chicago hits during the night. I can't wait till the next time they come around!!

  • 💯 worth it

Incredibly talented and entertaining band! DO NOT MISS!!!

  • Horrid Sound

by DB on 6/6/24Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 1 out of 5

Couldn't hear. Possibly the worst live sound I've experienced in the last decade. Sounded like subharmonic synthesizer in use, making all low frequencies loud muddy garbage. As we couldn't hear horns at all, could barely hear vocals, and bass guitar lines were completely obfuscated, we left about 30 minutes into the show.

  • A perfect evening

by Etrex on 6/6/24Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

Great show, they never disappoint, they clearly love what they do and it’s infectious.

  • Beautiful Concert

by German Shepherd Mom on 6/5/24Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was perfect after I requested the sound team lighten up on the bass reverb. L & Friends were spot on with all of the songs except one where Mikhail had to rush into his Tower of Power song. The lead guitar player needs to be up front and louder. There needs to be at least 2 guitarists. A 2 minute drum solo during a song is all that is needed. Vasilie didn’t seem like he felt well at all. He had very low energy, I felt bad. And enough with the sax player. He’s talented but creepy. The trombone player doesn’t get enough credit or applause and the trumpet player can pound it out but was off several times. The MC, Leonids son, is entertaining and speaks well and fluent. Ksenia, always the lady, was pitch perfect. I love Mikhail ( Michael) the most. His range is amazing and the tone is warm. I don’t know his guitar talents, looked like basic at most. The other singer’s (name?) voice was nondescript & sang most of the other songs. The keyboard player was adequate for as many times as they’ve played those songs. The energy was much better than when I saw them in Jim Thorpe last year. I look forward to seeing them again.

  • Excellent Group

by Uncle Bill on 6/5/24Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

Great musicians and voices! Overall one of the best performances I've seen in a long time. The horn section, song selection and vocals were spot on.

  • The sound engineer really liked the bass player

by Livahdoc on 6/5/24Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 4 out of 5

Loved the concert, probably the best cover band I have ever seen, however, the mix was super heavy related to the low end, bass was so overpowering that it really effected my enjoyment of the concert.

  • Terrific band!

by Bcof on 6/5/24Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

The musicianship & song selection was terrific! If you like the horn bands from the '60s, '70s & later like Chicago, BS & T, Earth, Wind & Fire, Ides of March, even Lighthouse, you will thoroughly enjoy yourself. Great entertainment bang for the buck!

  • Amazing!!!

by Jonapple on 6/5/24Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

I went to see them last week in NYC at City Winery. I loved it so much, I went again a week later to see them at Bergen PAC! If you like real music, played by real musicians, you're in for a treat!

  • Amazing!

They were amazing. If you are a fan of Chicago, this band is a must see. Not only that, but the venue was perfect for them, the crowd was into it and they were simply amazing.
