Leonid & Friends is THE best cover band out there! I've seen them 6 times and each show is great. The level of talent and attention to detail is amazing. Whether it's Chicago, Earth Wind & Fire or Tower of Power, they nail each group, which is no easy feat. L&F even do a Steely Dan cover. Catch them when they tour, you'll be hooked.
Great venue, staff and acoustics. Charleston is beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Fantastic concert! Outstanding performers & musicians. 4th year in a row I have seen them. Great venue.
Outstanding. Had great seats. Sound was awesome. A great live performance.
We have seen L&F five times and look forward to five more times. Always a great show, and it is so nice to see musicians who truly look like they are having a good time.
Can't say enough about this group! Sounded exactly like the orignals. Look forward to seeing them again!
The show was great but as always, the experience and intimacy of Charleston Music Hall never disappoints! Leonid and Friends definitely seemed to enjoy performing and delivered a very energetic performance with a great setlist!
Leonid & Friends understand that the '60s and '70s represent a classical era in rock music. Just as classical music from the renaissance era is intended to be performed with note-for-note perfection, so is the best music from the classical rock era. And Leonid delivers in a very big way. This is a must-see show for all ages!
Enjoyed the show from start to finish, music was outstanding....
This was my first time to hear Leonid and Friends and I must say - I was very impressed! They are a very talented group of people and very entertaining.
FANTASTIC-One of the best performances I've seen- FABULOUS
I enjoyed every minute of this concert, and they did a great job of recreating the title songs. For a Russian band to do this is remarkable considering the language barrier, but they did it well. Only disappointment is that Serge couldn’t be there, and I pray for him and his family at this difficult time. Hopefully, it will be resolved and he will be back with the band sooner than later.
Amazing musicians; exceedingly well-done. The only problem -- the mix on the instruments was not good. The trombone was way too loud and I couldn't hear the sax at all. Kinda of surprising since the sound engineer should have heard this. Also, I would like to have heard more songs that featured Ksenia Buzina. She is amazing; the closest voice to Karen Carpenter I've ever heard. But, it was a great show with A+ musicians. One of the best drummers I've ever heard. Glad I went. Thanks for a great show!
If I had never seen L&F before, I'd have given them a B score for this concert in Pensacola, FL April 9th. I saw them in 2024 in Montgomery, AL and they sounded so much better and were more energetic. Either Ksenia had an off night this show or something, but her cover of the Karen Carpenter's Super Star was just "O.K."Igor was absent from the drums. His stand-in was talented, but not at Igor's level. My advice would be that they start bringing some of the better musicians they use in their You Tube videos on the tour. Having said that, Konstantin was outstanding, like last year! Valery hit some off key notes. Andrey (from the You Tube videos) seems a stronger trumpet player to me. Overall, they just need more of the studio musicians to join the tour. Their sound was a bit one dimensional to me this show. Lastly, I'm not a fan of the jersey auction, mid-show. I'm sure I'll get push back from lots of folks on this, but it is just my opinion. I won't likely pay to see them in concert again. But love the You Tube videos.
I had some friends invite my husband and me to this concert. My husband has been following this group on YouTube, but I had never heard of band. I was amazed at how talented each individual was in the group. I thought the young, dark hair singer, Michael was an incredible singer. Awesome experience!
My son and I, both musicians, attended the performance together. I’ve watched a bunch of Leonid’s videos on my computer and have always been delighted with the group so I was anxious to see if the live version was anything like the recorded ones. I am very happy to report I wasn’t disappointed. The harmonies were exceptional. The players were spot on but I wasn’t prepared for all the on stage movements which made the show more entertaining. I did miss the string section which would have added a few different tunes but I guess traveling with that many musicians would be difficult and expensive. I, we both had a great time sharing great music, and company. Our seats, high in the theatre, allowed us to see everything and hear everything. The music wasn’t too loud and the dynamics were great. I never expected that group would have visited us here on the Gulf Coast but so pleased they did. A big shout out to the promoters for bringing part of the music world to Pensacola, Florida.
2nd time seeing them, and there will be a 3rd! Must see show!
Leonid and Friends are absolutely amazing! Great fun and interactive with crowd. The music was phenomenal! Would go see them again in a heartbeat!
