Vivian was excellent! Great acting and voice! Highly recommend this production!
If we had paid $$ to see this show on Broadway, we would not have been disappointed by the quality. Amazing casting, with a standout performance by Carley Vogel as Elle Woods. Wonderful job by cast and crew!
The cast of this Pebblebrook musical was incredible. Super entertaining and humorous! I really like this theater. Not super big and seats are comfy. I would have given 5 stars but the position of the speakers on the stage blocked some of our view...we were on the front row and they blasted our eardrums!
This was Flawless. So much talent. Never a dull moment. Wish I had gotten tickets for another showing.
My friend and I got tickets not realizing this was a high school theater production. And we are so happy we did! It was fantastic. Every person on that stage was perfection. We were so impressed and are talking about going back to see some other things!
Excellent production with amazing young talent. This is a prime example of a fantastic public school arts program.
Cobb County Center for the Excellence in Performing Arts always features a hugely talented cast! These performances are “pre-Broadway”, and this is the best priced entertainment in Atlanta.
My party of six arrived at theatre about 45 minutes before curtain was supposed to rise. . We have all been to previous performances and have been very happy with the experience. The ticket checkers as usual were friendly and warm. The lobby area was full of people so we went to the doors where our seats were located. We were greeted by a hallway full of people. No one was being seated. The two gentlemen at the door informed us there was going to be a delay in our seating. They had no information as to when or why we were not seated. As theater goers we understand that things happen so we waited. Production was set to start at 7:30. We were seated after 8:00 and a gentleman came forward and proceeded to talk about how glad the theater is to have this production. We felt it would have been appropriate to at least thank us for waiting and some kind of apology. We didn’t need to know reason. One member of our party has a medical condition that standing in place exacerbates it. It would have been nice to have allowed her to be seated. As to the performance and performers. Kudos. Bravos and thank you for a very enjoyable evening.
No programs were available when arrived to the venue. I have no idea who the cast was; was it local talent or was it a touring company? Did the actors have any experience? I don’t know because no programs were available. Ticket said the show started at 7:30... arrived at 7:10 and the doors were not open. Stood around waiting for the doors to open to be seated in what was very obviously a fire hazard because so many patrons arrived on time as per the ticket time. Doors opened at about 7:45, but the show didn’t start till after 8:10. I wouldn’t have minded having to sit and wait for the show to start if I had a program to read. Overall the cast was great, but the sound was awful. No balance whatsoever. At moments you couldn’t hear the pit, and you couldn’t hear the cast clearly in the silent moments even though they had mics. This was by far the strangest theatre experience in my life. Beautiful venue, but clearly not managed properly. Lots of room for improvement, and in desperate need of a better sound system.
The show is non-stop entertainment with laughs, songs, and great story telling. The story telling is done with great singing and dancing throughout the show. Everyone showed great talent and knows how to entertain the audience. The story telling gives a whole lot of unexpected laughs, and was great. The UPS guy was hilarious, he must have practice that walk from birth.
Pure entertainment from beginning to end. Great singing, great costumes, and each actor played their part so well. They all shined. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Never a dull moment with this play. Well worth the money and much more.
This was our first time at the Amaturo Theater and the first production from Slow Burn Theatre. It was a great experience and we are looking to come back to Fort Lauderdale and see what other shows we can catch.
Went with my daughter and 2 granddaughters aged 11 and 8 wasn't sure the 8 yr old would enjoy but aside from a few inappropriate words she loved it. We all loved it was a delightful experience. Seats were great nice small theatre Performers were terrific. All in all we had a wonderful time . Would highly recommend this show. Wonderful family experience
Thank you Slow Burn Comapny for an amazing show. If my work schedule would have allowed, i would have watched more performances
Amazing cast! Music was beautiful! We really loved every second!!!
An entertaining musical comedy that I highly recommend to everyone.
From the time that our family of four decided we wanted to go to this play to the time we purchased tickets took less than ten minutes. It could not have been any easier. The day of the event, we had the electronic tickets stored on my phone. We were in the theatre within 5 minutes upon arrival. What a smooth experience!!
Kuddos to Slow Burn Theater! Legally Blonde was fun, fun, fun! The acting was first class, the voices were amazing, and the script was well....fun, fun, fun! My daughter, mother-in-law and I laughed so hard during certain scenes we couldn't believe it. The venue was perfect, the sound was superb (albeit a bit odd at first as you can see the microphones on their foreheads), and the lead character was Elle Woods... even Witherspoon would have been impressed. Loved it!
I brought my 3 daughters and we all loved it. It was so much fun! Full of energy and entertainment! I highly recommend it!
The show was awesome from start to finish. The actors and the music were fabulous. I loved it so much I'm hoping to get back to see it again before it ends. A MUST SEE
