About

About Legacy Fighting Alliance

The future stars of mixed martial arts take on each other and the sport's top contenders in the Legacy Fighting Alliance, the premier developmental circuit in MMA today. The Legacy Fighting Alliance features both up-and-coming fighters on their way to glory and veteran fighters who still have something to offer and something to prove.

The LFA is one of the top developmental mixed martial arts promotions in the United States, aiming to be a major pipeline for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Legacy Fighting Alliance cards are held several times a month, focusing primarily on venues west of the Mississippi River but occasionally as far east as New Jersey and Virginia. The organization itself is headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Legacy Fighting Alliance has the pedigree of two solid organizations and the backing of some of the most respected names in combat sports. Founded in 2016 through a merger between the Resurrection Fighting Alliance and the Legacy Fighting Championship (Legacy FC), the LFA hosts regular bouts on AXS TV. It continues a long and healthy relationship between the network and the two organizations that merged to form the LFA.

The Legacy Fighting Alliance is led by CEO Ed Soares, best known for managing fighters like former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva and former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo. Prior to the formation of the Legacy Fighting Alliance, Soares was also the public face of the Resurrection Fighting Alliance.

The Legacy Fighting Alliance consists of eight men's and two women's weight divisions, with women and men both competing in bantamweight and flyweight classes. Belts are also held for heavyweight, light heavyweight, middleweight, welterweight, lightweight, and featherweight divisions. Follow all the LFA action on AXS TV, as well as on Twitter @LFAFighting and on the LFA website lfafighting.com.

    LFA 2/17/23

by S. J. on 2/20/23The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - Hammond

Great fights. The fights moved right along there was enough time in between each fight to use the restroom, get refreshments or visit the merch stand. The quality of the fighters were impressive as well. I would definitely go again, hope they come back. Very enjoyable experience.

    Good & Bad

by D on 10/17/22Sanford Pentagon - Sioux Falls

The price for admission was fair, but if you want to purchase any concessions or alcohol, those prices are getting way out of hand.

    Really great location

by LFA Fighting 139 on 8/22/22Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino Event Center - Niagara Falls

I thought the event center was very nice. Seating was arranged nicely with enough room. Being able to see the cage was important, where i was seated it wasn't an issue. I'd love it if LFA brought more MMA events to this area, seems like the perfect location! C Cain

    MMA fights

by JZ on 4/18/22Mystic Lake Casino Hotel - Prior Lake

The night was a blast being that I had front row seats and up close to the octagon ! The only thing I thought could have been better is the screen behind the octagon could have been a little higher because sometimes I wasn’t able to see the screen because sometimes the referee or the fighters would be in front of it just a thought but otherwise the fights were great !!!!

    Family Fight Box

by Jade on 4/18/22Mystic Lake Casino Hotel - Prior Lake

My youngest of 3 was getting confirmed at the cathedral. As a mom of wonderful catholic kids I decided to switch up the Rosary love gift and buy the row of 5 in Box- Row 3, seats 13-18. Not only for my kickass 16yr old but for my 2 pre Med kiddos and copacetic ex. As I was blowing the surprise to share with my daughter who can shoot better than the boys, she surprised me with she was bringing best friend home for Easter. Not only was I able to get what my entire family locked in as “Our Mystic Seats”, but we were able to add a friend right on the end. The fight was Amazing and everything with purchase and transfers and all the 6 of us needed for our seats was sweet!

    Horrible!

by Cleo on 2/28/22Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino Event Center - Niagara Falls

For something that promotes Wounded Warrior Project, to start this event without the National Anthem is embarrassing. The fight was delayed 1 hr, then again another 40 min and they put 2 fighters on the mat, with no announcements but their names. No anthem, no stats. Again waiting for another 30+ Minutes, minimal lighting, no communication , again puts a fight on. No stats, no anthem. This is meant to be televised? Embarrassment to the entertainment world & its customers. Lots of people walked out
