About

About Legacy Fighting Alliance

The future stars of mixed martial arts take on each other and the sport's top contenders in the Legacy Fighting Alliance, the premier developmental circuit in MMA today. The Legacy Fighting Alliance features both up-and-coming fighters on their way to glory and veteran fighters who still have something to offer and something to prove.

The LFA is one of the top developmental mixed martial arts promotions in the United States, aiming to be a major pipeline for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Legacy Fighting Alliance cards are held several times a month, focusing primarily on venues west of the Mississippi River but occasionally as far east as New Jersey and Virginia. The organization itself is headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Legacy Fighting Alliance has the pedigree of two solid organizations and the backing of some of the most respected names in combat sports. Founded in 2016 through a merger between the Resurrection Fighting Alliance and the Legacy Fighting Championship (Legacy FC), the LFA hosts regular bouts on AXS TV. It continues a long and healthy relationship between the network and the two organizations that merged to form the LFA.

The Legacy Fighting Alliance is led by CEO Ed Soares, best known for managing fighters like former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva and former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo. Prior to the formation of the Legacy Fighting Alliance, Soares was also the public face of the Resurrection Fighting Alliance.

The Legacy Fighting Alliance consists of eight men's and two women's weight divisions, with women and men both competing in bantamweight and flyweight classes. Belts are also held for heavyweight, light heavyweight, middleweight, welterweight, lightweight, and featherweight divisions. Follow all the LFA action on AXS TV, as well as on Twitter @LFAFighting and on the LFA website lfafighting.com.

    LFA 122

Great overall venue except that they only have bar services. No food.

Great event but needed better concessions

by Lo on 12/13/21Mystic Lake Casino Hotel - Prior Lake

This was a great event. Lots of great fights to watch and a great venue. With the length of the event (almost 6 hours) and not being allowed to bring food and drinks in from the casino, the concession stand needed to have some substantial food items. There were all sorts of drink options, but the only food items were popcorn and candy. Had we known ahead of time we would have eaten and really early dinner or a really late lunch.

    Wasted money

by JM on 8/30/21The Factory - Chesterfield

Paid money to see my nephew fight and then he fought before we even got there. This event was not to start until 7 . People were still lined up at the door we were just getting off work . Had the event started when it said we would have been able to see him fight. We spent nearly 50 a each on tickets and after we were told he had already fought we didnt even bother going . Lots of money wasted. Very disappointed . Kind of a rip off.

    Preacher of Hid Word

by Fergy on 2/24/20Mystic Lake Casino Hotel - Prior Lake

The event went well. But i have never been here so i didn't know anything, meaning the seat that i had was blocked by chairs on stage so i could see the actual fights. I had to look up at the big screen behind the cage. I how ever made my way to an empty seat by asking an usher & was able to watch the fights. Ticketmaster big hit, my fault for not researching more. But over all please with both event & you guys.

Had its flaws but overall fun

by RedBeard on 7/1/19The Sylvee - Madison

85% of the fights were excellent. The main event was the only real disappointment. The reffing for the final fight was abysmal. He gave a DQ without taking points or giving any PROPER warning. The elbows did happen illegally no doubt. But he didnt seem to try hard enough to make the fighter aware. Also the sylvee has the worst beer and liqour prices ever. How the hell is a bud light $8?

    Amazing Experience

by Layne on 4/29/19Sanford Pentagon - Sioux Falls

My son had a wrestling tournament on Saturday so I tried to find something going on for Friday night and it happened to be the fights. We usually watch on TV so I figured it would be a great idea! My son and his friend absolutely enjoyed it and they talked about it for awhile. Great experience and we will definitely go again. LFA!!
