About

About Legacy Fighting Alliance

The future stars of mixed martial arts take on each other and the sport's top contenders in the Legacy Fighting Alliance, the premier developmental circuit in MMA today. The Legacy Fighting Alliance features both up-and-coming fighters on their way to glory and veteran fighters who still have something to offer and something to prove.

The LFA is one of the top developmental mixed martial arts promotions in the United States, aiming to be a major pipeline for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Legacy Fighting Alliance cards are held several times a month, focusing primarily on venues west of the Mississippi River but occasionally as far east as New Jersey and Virginia. The organization itself is headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Legacy Fighting Alliance has the pedigree of two solid organizations and the backing of some of the most respected names in combat sports. Founded in 2016 through a merger between the Resurrection Fighting Alliance and the Legacy Fighting Championship (Legacy FC), the LFA hosts regular bouts on AXS TV. It continues a long and healthy relationship between the network and the two organizations that merged to form the LFA.

The Legacy Fighting Alliance is led by CEO Ed Soares, best known for managing fighters like former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva and former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo. Prior to the formation of the Legacy Fighting Alliance, Soares was also the public face of the Resurrection Fighting Alliance.

The Legacy Fighting Alliance consists of eight men's and two women's weight divisions, with women and men both competing in bantamweight and flyweight classes. Belts are also held for heavyweight, light heavyweight, middleweight, welterweight, lightweight, and featherweight divisions. Follow all the LFA action on AXS TV, as well as on Twitter @LFAFighting and on the LFA website lfafighting.com.

    Poor seating and views

by CJ on 4/24/23Mystic Lake Casino Hotel - Prior Lake

Could only see part of the cage. Lighting was subpar. Only one bathroom that has a stall and a urinal only for the men.

    Need better MAIN EVENTS

by TomH on 4/24/23Mystic Lake Casino Hotel - Prior Lake

Overall, LFA put on a great show on Friday Night. That definitely ended once the main event start which was an absolutely boring fight between two female fighters who were both trying hard not to lose - result, neither of them did a damn thing for 5 terrible rounds. The undercard and co-main were all very good though!

    Great Fights!!

by Love LFA on 4/17/23Sanford Pentagon - Sioux Falls

Definitely need more prelims, if unable to get more prelims need to move the start time back; 40mins in between fights is way too long. Main card was really good !!!

I love LFA its awesome to see the next generation of high level fighters before making it to the big shows like Bellator, One Champ and UFC. Its a great value for your money with the amount of talent they have. I hope they visit again soon.

    Great event

by Jeff on 3/27/23Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino Event Center - Niagara Falls

The event was well organized and very entertaining. One thing the LFA shoukd do is line up back up fighters so if some get canceled or postponed it doesnt shorten the card.

    Great show!

by Buckethead on 3/27/23Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino Event Center - Niagara Falls

Great accommodations at Seneca Niagara. You have quite a few dinner options before the fight. Everything is well organized, and the last few events went off without a hitch. If I had 1 complaint, to is the beverage selection. Do better

    LFA 2/17/23

by S. J. on 2/20/23The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - Hammond

Great fights. The fights moved right along there was enough time in between each fight to use the restroom, get refreshments or visit the merch stand. The quality of the fighters were impressive as well. I would definitely go again, hope they come back. Very enjoyable experience.
