About

As an eight-time Grammy Award nominee, Ledisi has captured attention around the world, thanks to her expressive jazz-influenced voice and well-produced albums that boldly tackle personal subject matter. When on tour, Ledisi often collaborates with a large backup band, which creates a full, multi-layered sound that's a treat for the ears of every ticket holder in attendance. Her sixth studio album, Pieces of Me, was released in 2011, and her next effort, The Truth, is set to hit the shelves in early 2014. The album's first single, "I Blame You," is already available to stream via the Internet for free, and a series of concert dates seems likely to follow the album's release.

Involved in music her whole life, Ledisi has appeared on soundtracks and commercials and performed at the White House at the request of President Obama and the First Lady. The year 2007 marked the release of Ledisi's third studio album, Lost and Found, and it was noted for earning her two Grammy nominations, including a nod for Best New Artist. In 2011, she toured around North America in support of Pieces of Me and played to sold-out crowds in more than 20 cities. The years 2012 and 2013 also saw Ledisi being recognized by her peers by receiving additional Grammy nominations. In addition to nurturing her music career, Ledisi has written a biographical book in partnership with ESSENCE magazine and appeared in two films. Through those efforts, she's proven that she has what it takes to excel, whether by showcasing her skills in music or by courageously experimenting with other creative outlets.

Ledisi concert was the best concert I've ever been. Her voice is unbelievable. I didn't know Dinah Washington, but I truly appreciate her music after the concert.

  • Fantastic

by Tisha on 9/20/25Rating: 5 out of 5

The show was a birthday gift and so worth it. The venue was intimate and my first time being at High Point Theatre. Ledisi in person was everything I imagined and better. I felt like I was visiting an old friend, and we were just vibing. The songs, her voice, her passion for what she does with her gift is phenomenal. She makes the audience feel like family. I truly enjoyed the show and look forward to my next viewing of Ledisi in concert.

  • Ledisi and Marsha amazing performance!

by Gigi on 7/19/25Rating: 5 out of 5

Ledisi and Marsha gave a great performance as usual! I've seen Ledisi 3 times! My only critique for Ledisi is spend more time with the songs that made your long time fans fall in love with you. She spent a lot of time singing her new songs.

  • An excellent concert

by Megawoman on 7/5/25Savannah Civic Center - Johnny Mercer Theatre - SavannahRating: 5 out of 5

Other than Marsha Ambrosias bad mic ( not her singing because she has a fantastic voice) the concert was excellent.

  • Ledisi Birthday Savannah Trip

by Tonia Y? on 7/5/25Savannah Civic Center - Johnny Mercer Theatre - SavannahRating: 5 out of 5

I actually picked Savannah over Vegas for my birthday trip because Ledisi and Marsha Ambrosius were going to be performing. I've been wanting to see Ledisi for a long time. My favorite song Pieces of Me was taken to another level and almost brought me to tears. She also took us to church. Marsha's voice is also so amazing, and I loved her interaction with the audience and her tribute to Frankie Beverly, Angie Stone, Michael Jackson, Prince and others. This concert was an experience I can check off my bucket list and was so memorable because I shared it with my mom, who also loved it. I pray God will continue to bless these artists to bring joy to the masses through song.
