  • AWESOME ROCK SHOW

    by Edgeat402 on 2/18/13State Theatre - St PetersburgRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome show. Never saw this band before, but this is a must see concert. They were excellent in playing all the Zep favorites. The best part was they come out after the show and hang for a few minutes...

  • As close to Zep as we may ever get

by FEASON on 2/18/13Revolution Live - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

Wasn't sure what to expect. But I heard Led Zeppelin 2 put on a good show so I decided to give them a try. Went with my 17 year old daughter. The show was pretty amazing. They sounded spot on for Led Zeppelin. From afar they looked the part too. Retro garb and hair. Only when you see them closer-up do you notice its not Zep. They had no opening act and played for almost 2 hours with a very short break in between. Zep 2 played mostly all the famous songs you would expect of them. They also played a few of the "deep cuts" as they called them. Very interesting mix of people. A bunch of teens and twenty somethings down in the pit moshing, and an equal number of gray hairs gyrating on the encircling floor. Catch em if you can!

  • Led Zeppelin 2 needs to start the show on time

by Zefan on 2/18/13Revolution Live - Ft LauderdaleRating: 3 out of 5

These guys need to respect their audience and start their show on time. With a scheduled 8:00pm start time, they didn't start till 9:30pm. Without any explanation why they were 1.5 hours late, I assume that there was no reason - they just didn't bother to start on time and somehow feel making people wait 1.5 hours is reasonable and acceptable. Well it isn't - it shows arrogance and disrespect to people. In this venue the audience has to stand so it made for a long night. Not sure if this is a pattern of behavior for this band or not; but not a good first impression for me and others who were equally frustrated in the audience around me.

  • Great night...better than expected

    by U2FanBoston on 2/17/13Revolution Live - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

I had seen another Zep cover band in NYC a while ago - nowhere near as good as this one. Their performance, sound and attention to detail made them very believable. Tough band to cover but they did it with passion and fun.

  • led zeppelin 2

by anacondasss on 2/17/13Revolution Live - Ft LauderdaleRating: 4 out of 5

Being a huge Zeppelin fan growing up I was very excited about this event. as soon as the singer hit the stage he blew me away with his voice and presence. Wearing the outfits Plant did in the 70's is what really gave it the authentic feel. Not only was his voice almost identical to Plant's, so was the guitar player playing Page's part. The double neck guitar and the amazing yet difficult solos really blew the entire audience away. It was an amazing show and I recommend it to anyone that is a die hard Zeppelin fan like me!

  • If you can't get Led Zeppelin, get Led Zeppelin II

by TreyJ on 1/21/13House of Blues Dallas - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Being a lover of 70's rock, I was anxious and cautiously optimistic to see a group pay tribute to one of the great rock bands of all time. I wasn't disappointed. In fact, I was greatly impressed. The members of Led Zeppelin II seemed to really take their work seriously, representing Led Zeppelin in a manner that should make all of the original members proud. The music was excellent and their mannerisms of the original band seemed spot on. LZII's show made me appreciate the original band even more than I already did. Listening to This show made me realize that LZ's recorded music doesn't do it justice. It has to be seen live to fully understand how powerful it truly was - the strong and incessant rythyms of John Bonham and John Paul Jones, to the wizardry of Jimmy Page, to the incredible vocals of Robert Plant. I will definitely see LZII again. They are almost as good as the real thing.

  • Great Zep Experience!!

by ptsmith1964 on 1/21/13House of Blues Houston - HoustonRating: 4 out of 5

No, these guys are not Led Zeppelin but no one else can be but...if your're looking for the next best thing then BINGO!! these guys are it! The sound is great! The guitar is remarkable (violin strings, double neck, mandolins) and the Robert Plant screams are dead on! Seen them twice and I will see them again. Definately worth it for Zep fans!

  • led zeppelin 2 were amazing

by fo189 on 1/21/13House of Blues Dallas - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

amazing show...band started just after 9..played 2.5 hours. Played all the great songs and deep cuts I have never heard a led zep tribute band play. Ten Years Gone, Achilles Last Stand and the best - In The Light...Even Led Zeppelin didnt play that song live..it has been referred to as the greatest song never played live. So it was a great thing for led zep 2 to play it. I cant wait to see the guys as many chances as i get...this one was number 6 for me...it never gets old!!

  • LZ2 was fantastic but the HOB

by Dmac60 on 1/21/13House of Blues Dallas - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

Led Zeppelin 2 put on a fantastic show. The HOB is a great venue but way too expensive for me.

  • Great Memories

by mcmyers1 on 1/19/13House of Blues Houston - HoustonRating: 4 out of 5

What a good time. Even the people are fun to watch. The band sounds great. There were only a few misses. The costumes, instruments, vocals, music.... were all very authentic and brought back great memories.

  • LZ2 not good enough to carry the name

by gpvdlv on 1/19/13House of Blues Houston - HoustonRating: 3 out of 5

I enjoyed the song selections, the guitarist was on, and the drummer was awesome. The singing left something to be desired. It was too forced and high pitched. It may be a flaw of the sound system, but there were times his voice was too screechy. He would try to put his own sound to songs and it did not do justice. Just trying to look like Robert Plant is not good enough. I would rather a non-lookalike who sounded more like Robert Plant, than what I heard Thursday night. To be able to carry the name, you need to "sound" more like them. I was very disappointed.

  • by Charodej on 1/15/13House of Blues Chicago - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

It was a great show. Since I was 2 years old in 1972 when Zeppelin was young and vibrant, this is the best that I could hope for.

  • took some warm up time

by comeonnow on 1/15/13House of Blues Chicago - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

Overall- not bad. Bad first impression. Came on stage late. It was 100 degrees in there and the drinks were quite pricey. In the beginning they needed to slow it down a bit. The beat was way too fast. Thank goodness for the back bar with the d.j. There I could cool off and relax a bit. Middle and end of show were fabulous. They seemed to find thier groove and go with it. Rock on.....

  • Not so much

by joh59 on 1/15/13House of Blues Chicago - ChicagoRating: 1 out of 5

When we bought tickets and even though it said Standing Room Only, there seemed to be a seat assigned. These were standing room only tickets. Having to standing for 2 hours before the show started and getting crammed into a space was not my idea of a pleasant evening. We listened to 3 songs and left mainly because we were done standing and being pushed. Would have nice to have been directed to a location where seating options were available without an additional price. The show was OK even though we were told it was fabulous.

  • Might as well been LZ!

by jawnincaligurl on 1/14/13House of Blues Chicago - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Very good show! LZ2 is almost like seeing LZ! Had a great time, great venue, would definitely go see them again!

  • by Anonymous on 1/14/13House of Blues Chicago - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

The staff at the venue were rude, unprofessional and complete idiots. They would not allow my 28 yr old wife into the concert with her valid IL drivers license. They claimed it was not her and a fake ID. Ruined the whole fucking show for us. Unbelievable.

  • Zep fan

by Beamerkid on 1/14/13House of Blues Chicago - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

It was awesome. A little crowded. It was a great show.

  • Forgettable

by Anonymous on 1/14/13House of Blues Chicago - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

Lead singer couldn't was a far cry from Robert Plant.

  • NO SEATING, BAD SOUND, MARGINAL PERFORMANCE

by sophiegirlhockey on 1/14/13House of Blues Chicago - ChicagoRating: 1 out of 5

We stood and waited for the show to start, late. The sound was terrible. It was so loud you couldn't hear much from all the reverb on the lead signers voice. It was just crappy. We were crowded into a corner of the balcony, standing for hours trying to see the stage between drunk middle aged men and a marginal performance. Misery, we felt ripped off.

Outstanding performance! These guys sound like the real thing.
