Great great band to watch!!! We had a great experience overall at the house of blues. I would totally encourage others to go and watch this band. Good times!!
The band did not come out until after over an hour and fifteen minutes. I had main line events show up earlier. Each member of the band was quite musically talented but unfortunately as LED ZEP they did not play up to their idols. Parts that were slow melody was played fast as they altered the songs continually I guess to play with their strengths. Overall, it was a good experience as I might take another look at some other bands trying to play LED ZEP.
I know there have been a lot of mixed reviews on here, but my feeling was it was worth seeing. This was a Valentines gift for my wife who loves Zeppelin. We had some drinks at McSorley's Ale House, dinner and then the show. I felt as though the lead singer was off from time to time, but the rest of the band was spot on. I also felt the band was louder than the singer on several occasions. In general they were just to loud for this venue in my opinion. All and all, it was a fun night!
Seen Jason Bonhams' Led Zeppelin experience Seen Get the led out and now seen this band 2X I have to say this is the much better band out of the 2. You would think Jason Bonham's band is better but no. This band rocks, does every song excellent. As a matter of fact I like so much I will never miss them when they come to New York. And by the way I say the real zep in 71, 74, 76 and 77, and this band comes so close you can sometimes close your eyes and you would not know the difference. I got drummer sticks, guitar pick and finally I bought a Tee. GUITARIST IS EXCELLENT!!! KEEP PLAYING LED ZEP2 NEW YORK LOVES YOU!!!!!!
Great, Fantastic, Awesome!!! I'm a big Zep fan and I've seen quite a few Zep tribute groups. To tell the truth they all put on a good show, but these guys look and sound the closest to the Real Thing. My second time seeing them and I'm happy to keep going. I was aghast at how well they played - in fact at one point, I pretty much teared up in ecstasy (no joking - and no, there were no drugs involved!). The best part about the venue (Gramercy) is that it's got both seating and a standing area at the front - so you can embed yourself in the middle of it all and get a real feel for what it must have been like way back whenever... My only slight gripe was that they came on over an hour later than the posted start time, but given the performance and power, it more than made up for it... GREAT JOB. I'LL BE BACK AGAIN!
These guys were great. "Robert" said the band played the night b/f in Vegas, and it took a few songs for his voice to warm up. But boy, when it did he was belting them out. "Jimmy" and Bonham were incredible, and the band sounded fantastic. They finished their second encore w/ "When the Levee Breaks" and people up front (some very hot women) were dancing their asses off and basically losing their minds in the moment. Great fun!!
Awesome live recreation of "The Song Remains The Same" play list from top to bottom. Nonstop fantastic tribute worth every penny. Vocals and actions are as close as you can get. Guitar is absolutely Page-ified all the way to mastering the 12-string with the bow! Bonzo-gonzo drumming out of this world! He beats the S*%# out of the drums with awesome precision. And let's not forget their John Paul Jones, who easily transfers from boogie bass to intricate keyboarding. All master musicians capturing the essence of the master themselves.
I was very surprised at the professionism and the choice of the songs they performed. Very cool show. Kept me dancing all night.
Absolutely fantastic performance of Led Zeppelin 2 at the House of Blues in Hollywood on Sat., 3-2-13! Led Zep 2 is WAAAAYY better than other LZ coverbands I've heard. This is as close to a Led Zep concert we'll ever get. The lead singer even sounded like Robert Plant when talking! I love Robert Plant! Same lead guitar guy (?) in Led Zep 2 also played guitar with Heart at this years Kennedy Center Honors tribute to Led Zepplin while playing "Stairway to Heaven". He did Jimmy Page justice! Keep up the great peformances Led Zepplin 2!!! I'll be back!
THe band was fun but took for ever for them to come out. For a cover band like this, this is not a good way to have people come back as I will not be attending again due to this lack of respect for their fans.
The Led Zeppelin 2 concert was amazing. I've been going to every one of their concerts for the past year and have never been let down by their quality.
I have seen this group 1other time in Vegas. Was blown away by their original sound. If you closed your eyes you would feel as tho you were back in time. We are in our 50's and felt very comfortable with everyone there. Was surprised to see younger, but after talking with them said they were raised with this music from their parents. We had tickets for general admission which is standing in front of stage. Had dinner at Crassroads and was let in early before public to get good spot. The show had sold out so was very crowded. Would not want to be sitting for this show. Great group of people on main floor. Talked with many and some people came far to see them. Great food, and danced all night. Would go again. So glad you can buy a ticket for a great show and they don't make you pay thru the nose. Good value for the main floor. Be prepared to stand or dance for 3 hours.
I had a great spot very close to the front, and it was a great show! The band was very in-tune with their audience. I recommend getting there when doors open for a great spot.
If you're a led zeppelin fan than LZ2 is a must see. Their sets was great, theatrics good and the guitarist was amazing. A must see truly.
I'm 22yrs old, so I never had an opportunity to experience Led Zeppelin live. I went with my father who had seen Zeppelin live back in 74. He said the show was incredible when compared to Zeppelin. He loved it and so did I. It felt like I was seeing Les Zeppelin, not Led Zeppelin 2. I couldn't be happier.
This show was great! HOB is a fantastic venue. This is as close as you can get to Led Zeppelin.

Venue was awesome! Band left a lot to be desired! No personality! Guitar player was the only memorable person! Lead singer needs to get over himself and show some personality and showmanship! And to add insult to injury they couldn't even be on stage on time! One of the worst concerts EVER
STRONG performance, by these guys !!!!! This band i would Highly recommend ( and have ), to anybody, that is an original Zep fan !!!! My ONLY complaint ( Having seen the original band as well ), Is HOW they use the ORIGINAL band members Names, vice their own !!! Unless that had to come, with tagging the name ?? Overall ~ FANTASTIC !!!!
