It was well worth the time and money. Really enjoyed it. Have to drive all the way from socal but again it is all worth it.
Such an amazing experience. I would love to see Lea Salonga perform in Las Vegas again. It would be great for her to have a "Residency" at a major Las Vegas venue.
So disappointed bec there was no production value. It was like going to a club with a lounge singer. Lea did not even make an effort to dress up, perhaps an elegant gown? For close to $1000 I paid it was not worth it!
I've been longing to see Ms. Salonga since her Ms. Saigon days. I had great expectations and she delivered. She's flawless and stunning as ever. She's a national treasure!
What an unforgettable night! Lea’s crisp clear voice filled every corner of Wynn’s Encore Theater. So many goosebump moments as she hits the high and low notes. The music from the four piece band accompanied her throughout the night - and that’s all she needed to bring out her best. I’ve watched Lea countless times and she is definitely getting better with time. With a diverse Vegas crowd, she had to mix-in songs from a lot of genre, even doing old favorites in medley just to fit them in and appease the die hards. Best for the night for us was her rendition of John Lennon’s Imagine and the 80s pop hit True Colors. And what’s with that opening anthem Dream Again? Great opening number that should be worthy of more air play. Will definitely watch her again.
She was an amazing singer! Great performance, loved the song choices,. Will definitely see her again.
Leah will always be one of my most admired singers of all time. However, the concert at the Encore Theater seemed a little sloppy, for lack of a better word. It felt that the repertoire wasn’t well put together. I would have wanted to hear more “Leah songs.” The whole show felt flat and a little boring. I expected more from a world class performer.
She really is a world class talent, deserving of all her international awards, true Filipino pride!
She has an amazing voice, she truly does. I have always felt she has one of the best pure voices of the generation. With her work in Aladdin, Mulan, Les Miserables, and Miss Saigon she was and is a power house. So when I had a chance to drive to Vegas and see her sing, I was excited. When the concert opened I knew she would do what all artists do, save the most beloved songs for last. The Encore!!!! The song selection was a little strange, Toxic?????? Okay, it was not bad and again just being able to listen to her voice. She even sang Bring Him Home from Les Miserables and nailed it. Then the end of the concert was upcoming and she sang a medley of all her hits. I think the song ran four minutes. In a 90 minute concert she sang all of her hit songs in four minutes. Toxic was twice as long. Moana was twice as long. I appreciate the new music, I truly do, but I wanted to hear the music I had grown to love. When I see someone in concert, I want to see the music we shared, the sound track of my life she provided. Maybe that is not fair to a person who does not want to be type cast as Kim, or Eponine, or Jasmine or Mulan. I appreciate that. If that is in fact the case, then don't sell the concert as such. In all, she was great. I mean, how can she not be. But It did not deliver what was expected.
She’s a complete package! Awesome show, wish it was a little bit longer!
Very disappointing. Flew to Vegas to see Lea Salonga. She played a bunch of songs on that she wanted to sing and none of her hits. She even said that she was “aware” that she hadn’t sung her hits, so she did a very short medley of her hits, maybe 30 seconds each. It’s very odd. I’ve never seen anyone not sign their signature songs. Most try to make their fans happy. Look at the set list and decide whether you want to see the concert
I have been a fan of Lea Salonga for several years now, so when I found out she was doing a concert in Little Rock, I purchased tickets almost immediately! When she walked out on stage, I could not believe that she was real! She effortlessly delivers consistently pitch-perfect vocals and creates a comfortable atmosphere with her audience. If you've never seen her live before, take any opportunity you can! I only hope she comes back to the U.S. mid-south region again. Thanks for delivering, Lea!
She still sounds amazing. I wished she did a couple of Filipino songs.
Lea Salonga is brilliant as always and Town Hall is a great venue. It’s just the right size and the acoustics are great!
Show was great. Lea is ageless, with a versatile, clean voice built for Broadway. Why she never became a mega star in the US is beyond me. The “security” at the venue put a wet damper on everything; stopping people from even taking a cell phone pic. She even addressed that, “the burly men will come and get you”. They were distracting for her, as well. So, the venue= 2 stars. Lea= 5 stars.
As usual the filipina diva gave her best to entertain her fans with her beautiful voice and great songs .
We LOVE LEA!!! I watched it with my girl buddies! The best
I love Leah so much! She is a pro! I enjoyed every bit of the show. She is an excellent singer. I will never get tired of watching her upcoming shows in the near future! P.S. Can you sing even one Filipino song next time..😊😊😊
Lea Salonga's voice is better listened to in a theater venue.
Wow . What can I say just stunning. Amazing voice. Great performance overall. Love to see her again live over and over.
