NBC's Last Comic Standing Live Tour
by kpaj on 10/3/10Wilbur Theatre - BostonWhat a blast!! We thought it may have been mostly jokes we saw on TV but I would say it was 80-90% original (not done on TV). Non-stop laughing, many eye-watering laughs.

I have never seen the show on TV but it was amazing in person. The only person I didn't think was that funny, ironically, was the winner (who was the headliner). THe italian guy from the bronx and the guy from alabama was hilarious.
It was great to see the top 4 perform. They put on a really entertaining show and are even funnier in person. They also get to say whatever they want so be prepared!
Way too expensive for what you got. The seats at the venue were very uncomfortable. Very small and tied together with zip ties. Comedy was ok, but comedians seemed to be burned out and not really trying all that hard.
Maybe these guys spent too much time at the beach in San Diego that fried their brains. MOST of them were just boring. It was "date nite" for my wife and I so we were disappointed with their performances since we enjoyed the actual TV show. On THIS day, MOST of these guys just didn't show up. Better luck next time
I thought the show was funnier, and it was a lot of the same material.
Last Comic Standing was better then I expected. Each comedian has his own unique way of performing and each and every one of them were so funny! We enjoyed the evening full of laughter. They each had 20 minutes to perform which was plenty of time for them to get their material out. The only thing I didn't like was the seating at Humphrey's By the Bay, the venue is such an awesome place, but the seats are so close together it was difficult to be comfortable and I'm not a big person.
Great show! Funny, Funny, Funny! Enjoyed all four comics....highly recommended!!
We were very surprised to find that tickets for this event were as low as 23 dollars. Our seats were still great, there were no bad seats. The comics were amazingly hilarious, funnier than they were on the tv show! We will be going to this tour every year, we had a blast!!
This show is hilarious! After the show the comics hung out and signed autographs and took pictures. GREAT SHOW!
At least half of the material was recycled from the TV show. That was disappointing.
I was a fan of them on Last Comic Standing, and am SO glad I went to see them! The show was awesome and the venue is intimate. Had a great time!
Mike DeStefano was HILARIOUS - I would love to see him headline his own show. Tommy and Roy were great, too... I think Tommy was funnier than he was on the show. Felipe was a disappointment. At one point he even told the old hokey-pokey joke that used to go around by email you know the one: "the man who wrote "The Hokey Pokey" just died. The most traumatic part for the family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in..... and then the trouble started." Very disappointing.
By far the best comedy show I've been to! All five comics were absolutely hilarious! The venue is the perfect size, easy to get to, and parking is convenient. The only complaint is the strange seating arrangement. Long tables of 10? People were bobbing and weaving to see. Kind of strange. Would have preferred rows facing the stage or at least smaller tables of 2-4. Other than that, we had a wonderful, wonderful time!
Good show, I like the first 3 acts better than the main act . Interior of venue needs a little work.
Pretty much what the title states...Roy Wood Jr and Tommy Johnagin were hilarious. Mike Destefano (recovering drug addict, current drug counselor) was funnier on the show I think. I was concerned that maybe he had a drug relapse because he kept pausing and it was like he forgot what to say next and was jumping all over the place. Very NOT like he was on the show. He had some funny parts but was not hysterical like Roy and Tommy. Even winner, Felipe Esparza, was kinda ok, kinda cheesy at times. Myq Kaplan hosted and he was the least funny. Go see Roy or Tommy at a comedy club - don't waste your time any money for this whole show whcih came with a weird intermission too.
I know who won the contest and all of that, but the order was backwards. Mike and Roy were awesome and then it kind of went down hill.
I had a great time at the show! Comedians were spot on and I loved them dissing NBC! These comedians fed off of each others stuff perfectly. Make sure you take a camera, they will be coming out and meeting you for a photo opportunity of a lifetime. All of the comedians come out at intermission and after the show!
The show was very funny. I didnt know what to expect cause I had not seen the show, But my fiance loves comedy and it was right around his birthday. We were not dissapointed. We were laughing so hard the whole night! :D
Nothing like having the top 5 comics from Last Comic Standing in one's backyard! Myq Kaplan did a great job hosting the show, and performances from Mike Destefano, Roy Wood, Jr., Tommy Johnagin, and this year's Last Comic Standing winner, Felipe Esparza, were rough compared to their more clean cut performances on the show. Nevertheless, their routines were very funny if sometimes shocking and over the top. That's live comedy for ya! The audience seemed to enjoy the show. It's always great to end your weekend with some laughs and cheer on these comics who have pursued their dreams and landed very well in the comic world.
