LA Clippers History
The Clippers joined the NBA in 1970 as the Buffalo Braves, an expansion team located in Buffalo, N.Y. The franchise selected future star forward Bob McAdoo in 1972 with the No. 2 overall pick in the NBA Draft. He was named NBA MVP in the 1974–75 season, and remains the only player in the history of the Clippers franchise to win that honor.
The franchise, led by new owner Irv Levin, moved to San Diego in 1978 and was renamed as the Clippers. The franchise's stay in San Diego didn't last long. Levin sold the team to Donald Sterling in 1981, and he moved the franchise 120 miles north to Los Angeles.
The Clippers began their best era of success in 2010, when they drafted Blake Griffin with the No. 1 overall pick. One season later, they acquired Chris Paul in a trade with the New Orleans Hornets, and "Lob City" was born. They advanced to the second round of the playoffs that same season, recording their second playoff series win in 36 years. The Clippers followed that by setting a new franchise record with 56 wins in the 2012–13 season, which began a streak of five consecutive seasons with 50 or more wins and a playoff berth.
During the 2022–23 season, the Clippers, led by Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, again returned to the playoffs. They fell to the Suns in the first round.

I'm from brazil... Stample center is wonderfull... Great game!!!
Even though we were in the cheapest seats in the house our experience was awesome. My 11yr old and I had a blast.
Awesome game; reserves made a great comeback during the second half. Satisfied with my purchase of the tickets for my boyfriend and I. Can't wait to see another of their games live!
Clipper's game was great! lots of fun! first time at staples center love it!
Great experience to watch a basketball profi match here in the US. I would have missed it without my son's interest and ticket master.
Packed like rats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The best game ever!!!!!!! the seats were great! i will recomend to everybody
The LA Clippers have a very solid team...Paul and Griffin were great...overall it was a great game...
I attended the clipper game at the staples center against the new york knicks. I was excited to get the chance to see the great players from the knicks team however their 3 best players namely C Anthony A Stoudemire and T Chandler did not play the game. I spent $600 worth of tickets with the hope of seeing these guys, so disappointed !
This is a fun team to see in person. Great time! I look forward to seeing these guys in the playoffs. There was also a very nice St. Patrick's Day celebration across from the Staples Center. There was music, dancing, and, of course, a beer garden. The green "O'Griffin" and "O'Paul" jerseys that were being sold that day were a "must"....along with a green can of beer.
Will go again, the Staples Center was a great venue and is expensive in terms of food and drinks so I would recommend eating at other restaurants in the LA live area.
The Clippers had a great game against a big team and they were awesome!! LOB City is here!!!
It was my first time at the staples center and it was my first time watching an NBA game, it's an amazing show! Everything was perfect despite my broken foot and the fact I had to climb up to the top of the clippers house. Tickets were a bit too expensive for the far away seats i bought. But in the end I love this game...
Great game and great atmosphere! Sat up high at the top. They are still good seats. Enjoy the Staples Center and watching the Clips! Bummed that Carmelo was hurt.
Very fun, a great time! My family plans on attending more often.
I love watching the Clippers play..they are so exciting, even though they lost to the Grizzlies..
Very good, interesting and exiting experience! Thank you
The game was very much exciting with enthusiasm atmosphere and excellent play. Ceremony and intermission attraction were also impressive.
So exciting!! I want to go to Clippers game again.
Never a bad seat and the game was fun. Got there early was able to see them warm up and then watched a heck of a game
