Kym Whitley did her thang. Best comedy show ever she is so down to earth and funny. I will love to see her again. It was her birthday weekend we got to sing to her. Kym Whitley is my new favorite comic.
I took my son to see this show for his 57th birthday. We had a ball. Kim Whitley and David A. Arnold are a dynamic comedy team. The show was adult without being vulgar and truly entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
The comedy show was good however the ticket start time said 10p however it did not start until 11:30p. Unacceptable! It was especially hot and humid in NOLA. Some where standing in line since 9p. The 1st row of seats located in Ii were very uncomfortable.
All of the ladies were funny. Loved the surprise guest Marlon Waynes this was the first year for this event. And it was great. Would attend again.
It started way too late. And it was barely funny. We had to stand in line long after the advertised 10:00 pm.
Absolutely LOVED the show! Fabulous comedian line up and facility. Great addition to Essence weekend, would love to see this event again next year.
The Comics were great! However it was 102 outside the event. The Doors was supposed to open at 10pm. They didn’t open until 11:10 pm it was a miserable time standing in that heat with no water for over a hour and a half. The older patrons were about to pass out. After the delay outside, then it was at least another 30-35 minutes before the show started. I got really tired of the DJ playing music only she wanted to hear because she was not engaging or moving the crowd. This was the first show of its kind, I would like to see it back next year with improvements!
