Great show. I was especially excited to see Bigdaddy Kane.
When you go see the founding Legends of Hip-Hop, you will NOT be disappointed! These are people who had to rock crowds WITHOUT the tricks & distractions of video screens, pyrotechnics, auto tune, half-naked folks, etc.. These are THE LEGENDS that KNOW how to MOVE THE CROWD!!! If you a TRUE Hip-Hop fan, it's a MUST SEE!!!
This is my second time within a year attending a old school hip hop concert. Neither didn't disappoint. If you have ever thought about going then stop thinking and just do it.
This was one of the best concerts I have ever attended. All artist’s performances were amazing. Mable House Amphitheater seats were perfect.
The Mable House is an awesome venue. The sound quality is amazing. The concert was awesome! Big Daddy Kane, Krs-One, Nice and Smooth and Brand Nubians did not disappoint! I would definitely go see all of them again!
As always I enjoyed my “old school Hip Hop” concert! Big Daddy Kane, KRS One, EPMD, Brand Nubian…never disappoint!!!
Everything I wanted to see and more. It was fantastic to see the legends from hip hop and even more so in 50 years.
Best concert EVER!! Fed the soul!! Can’t wait for the next Legends of Hip Hop concert! May this just be the beginning for more old school acts!
I love all the acts the atmosphere was very nice very beautiful enjoyed myself.
Honestly that was the best hip hop concert I have ever been and I have seen a lot. Everyone gave their all and more. Greg Nice even walked around the entire audience! That is the second time I saw him and he did the same thing the first time. I was ecstatic to see EPMD together. Erick Sermon was hilarious, telling the crowd he just turned 25 and then later on he said he just turned 42 🤣🤣🤣 In all honestly he looked a smooth 31. Big Daddy Kane gave us his classic dance moves. Kool Moe Dee’s dancers was dope and he outfit was as well. KRS gave us a dope freestyle. He performed and looked like he was 25. My generation is so dope!
Fantastic show. Was so happy to see all of these acts. I loved how they all paid homage to our fallen rappers and DJ's. This was a great celebration of a culture started by Kool Herc. I'm happy to say I've watched it blossom and that our favorite rappers can still own this culture. Loved you guys. Thanks for the great show. I hope you run it back before the end of the year.
Loved the venue and the concert! Always a great experience!
I had a wonderful time reminiscing in the '90s!!! The only thing I would change are the long breaks in between each act. Other than that, I would definitely do it again!!! Big Daddy Kane was worth the wait!! :)
Great venue, great show. Greg Nice, EPMD and KRS One rocked it. I’ll definitely return. Seats were perfect. We were close but at a comfortable distance. If I changed anything I would’ve made Kool Moe Dee the first artist as he garnered the least amount of energy from the crowd. Overall, we had an amazing time.
Great show for an awesome deal. all the performers killed it especially the many openers. KRS-ONE was on a completely different level though, Ive never seen someone take control of the whole stage like the blast master!!! id rank this right next to seeing wu tang for the first time
I wish I seen him years ago. He really still control the crowd I felt like I was listening to my teacher rs
Everything was great except seating space. I really enjoyed the show
All the acts got busy. It was my first time seeing KRS-One, Mack n Freeway in concert. I'm glad I was able to participate in a historic event. Great way to start the New Year off with a great concert.
I felt it was a little unorganized. 7pm show didn’t start til 8. Rows of seats on the floor were too tight. Could barely walk or dance in the row. Not well staffed causing dire hazards in the aisles. Ladies Bathroom was gross at the end of the night. I’m sure most due to Covid hiring issues.
