KRS did all classics! The show was one for the memory books. I've seen KRS 3 times before and this was definitely his best of the 4. Will go see him again but doubt it could match the energy of this one! All classics Criminal Minded South Bronx Part Time Sucker My Philosophy I'm Still #1 Jimmy Black Cop Can't Wake Up MCs Act Like They Don't Know Ah Yeah A MC Step Into A World Many more!!
This was the first KRS-One concert I have had the pleasure of going to! Amazing, he was full of energy and dropped his usual awesome raps!! The venue was pretty full, but not overstuffed with people. Great crowd too!
Knowledge Reigns Supreme! He not only kicked a lot of knowledge that inspired you but he also put on a great show. Afterwards, I had a lot of great conversations about things he mentioned. I will never miss a KRS-1 in DC.
KRS-One owned the stage. Not too many MC's sound great live. He's the exception to the rule!
The overall show was great. Some on goers felt the need to blaze up which I did not understand but all and all it was great and nothing popped off.
KRS proved he remains one if the most vital and relevant artist in Hip Hop after some 30 years.
As expected KRS always displays Hip-Hop in it's purest form period.
As usual KRS did not disappoint. He still has it! However, it would have been nice if the event wasn't listed as starting at 9pm when the doors of the club opened. KRS didn't come out until WAY after midnight.
OK this was a sick show, KRS1 was on point as usual but this was a great performance, the sound system kicked @$$ and the venue really is a great place to see a show.
I loved this concert!! Best free style rapper ever!!
The best show ever, and I only went because my boyfriend wanted to go. But I LOVED it!! .I will definitely go to another one.
Great venue and an amazing show! KRS never disappoints. This was my 5th time seeing him but it had been awhile.
Old school rules! KRS is still a great performer I can't wait to see him again!
My mind was blown! I've been a fan since BDP and have followed him ever since. Unfortunately this is the first time I was ever able to see live. I can't believe that I'd missed out on such a spectacular performer. His wealth of knowledge and ability to convey his message to the crowd was amazing! The crowd hung on to his every word. His rant on technology was enlightening to say the least. His performance was everything I had anticipated and more! I will definitely keep watch for his next Boston appearance, because I will be front and center!
I am a big KRS-One fan and have been listening to him since 1986. At eleven years old I could recite the "By All Means Necessary" album by heart. I was super excited to see him live and he did not dissapoint. The man has still got it, whether mainstream knows it or not. His performance was amazing --energetic, insightful and fun! The dancers were very entertaining as well.
Another ridiculous performance. Tiger Woods of Live EMCEEing. Didnt even need a hype man. REAL HIPHOP This dude never disappoints
KRS-ONE is brilliant. He is a master of Hip-Hop and has sacrificed his ranking in popularity to be the greatest emcee ever.
Big hip hop guy but i gota admit, alot of hip hop concerts i go to dont sound nearly as good as the cd thats released but KRS was perfect about how loud the music was, how much bass was pounding, and his rhyming was perfect. Hands down, best MC on the planet, freestyles with history/sociological lesson. Very inpirational. Great performance. Didnt go to the VIP cuz my moneys tight. Hip Hop Lives.
There are very few performers , Pop, Jazz or R n B, who put on a entertaining show. They must rely on familiar radio hits to get a response from the crowd. Not KRS, a natural born MC. moves the crowd with a a mike and a DJ. I never stopped dancing ,screaming and i am 50, you would have expected that from a child at a Jbeeb concert. If he comes to your town GO! you will not be disappointed.
