I enjoyed the show big daddy kane still got it..tracy lee came out.. I wish some artist like chubb rock stayed on for a little longer..and dru hill sucked..
The show took right back to the late eighties. All of the acts had me up on my feet dancing the whole night but Dru Hill seemed out of place.
All the artists were great to watch, hearing classics from the 80's and early 90's being performed. Dru Hill did not need to be involved because when they came on it messed up the vibe of the show. Should of had them (DH) on earlier in the show or even better get a group/artist that had a new jack swing in their R&B music that the crowd could still jam to. Luckily KRS-1 liven the show up again and closed it out with messages that people can take from after a good show like that. Kane, Scoob & Scrap really got the crowd on their feet, I know I was standing up dancing lol.
The show was amazing. I go to the concert every year & this year everyone had stepped their game up. I loved the variety of the show & although I've seen some of the acts before nothing seemed repeated.
The show was good .. The entertainment between headliners was great.. The host was on point& the headliners took me back to a time when everything was everything
All the performances were on point......Big Daddy Kane did his thing..Kool Moe Dee took us back dancing in the aisle...KRS killed it.
I love the show. Everyone was awesome. Even Yo-Yo who worked her ass off though no one was on the crowd. Kool Moe Dee brought out the Treacherous Three. I almost died. Brought me back. Then he brought out Grandmaster Caz and they flipped the Jay-Z and Kayne beat. Say word. I really enjoyed myself. Can't wait til next year.
The show took me back to the late 80's when music was from the soul! I still love the music from my high school days! To actually see the artists live was a real treat.
Show was very good. I especially enjoyed Whodini, Kool Moe Dee and Big Daddy Kane.
The concert was fabulous. I really liked KRS-One and Big Daddy Kane. I would have liked to see KRS-One in the middle of the show and the group performances at the end.
The show was awesome. It really took me back to the eighties!! Great performances. I will make it my business to attend next year too!!
Of course everyone didn't show up, the performances were VERY SHORT, the stage video was HORRIBLE, sound quiluty even WORSE,however KRS 1 part was great.
The concert started on time. All of the performancers and DJ's were excellent. I loved the way they kept the show going without intermission, and bringing out special guests to perform. Break dancing definitely took us back to the 80's. We partied like it was 1999 for almost 4 hours straight. It was a jammed pack show, and everyone had a great time dancing and singing along. Big Daddy Kane did his thing!!!! KRS 1 was the headliner, he did a great job!
I come every year to this event and it seems to just get better!!!! Awesome!!! off the hook!!!!
KRS ONE did not disappoint. Wish he had more time to perform. Everyone else was awesome. I discovered a new found love for Dru Hill, them boys can saaaannnnng! Cant wait until next year!
Great show. Whodini and Look Moe See were awesome. Big Daddy Kane was just OK. I'm still trying g to figure out why Dru Hill was there.
Yo Yo- She did well. First artist ppl was still coming in. Ok job 3stars Dana Dane- Ok job. Crowd still warming up. 3stars Moni Luv- Good Job! Flipped the Lady first song and held Down Queen Latifah part 5stars. The Alumni- Good Job! 4stars Big Daddy Kane- Great Job! Best performer 5stars Kool Moe Dee- Great Job! 4stars Whodini- Great Job! 5stars Dru Hill- Horrible! They really lost the crowd! 1star KRS1- Good Job- his momentum was up and down! Stick to the old rhymes. That's why we came. Not for the new stuff. 4stars
I would like to see an old school concert, where each artist comes out and sings three or four of their top hits, exactly the way they recorded it on the record and then leave the stage. Its not even close to rocket science! We just want to hear your hits the way you did them on the record. In fairness, it was not just this concert that it happened at. I have went to hundreds of them and no one seems to get the point. WE JUST WANT TO HEAR YOUR HIT RECORDS THE WAY YOU RECORDED THEM BACK IN THE DAY. We loved them. Thats why we brought them. Thats why we came out to see you 15, 20, sometimes 30 years later.
It was a very very good show. It started on time, the artists were well aware of their time slots and how much time they had to perform. well done show.
OUTSTANDING HIP HOP OLD SKOOL COULD HAVE DONE WITHOUT DRU HILL....HIP HOP TIME COULD HAVE BEEN USED FOR MONIE THAT TIME WAS GIVEN TO DRU HILL
