It was a cold and windy day,but that is racing. We could see the backstretch from our seats but we were quite a distance from opening ceremonies. It was our first NASCAR race so it was a great experience, but would like to sit closer to the middle next time. I would recommend printing out tickets before you go. My ap didn't pull up on my phone there and I had to go to the Box Office at the track for help.

    NASCAR must see.

by Kitzrr on 3/9/16Las Vegas Motor Speedway - Las Vegas

This was my first ever live NASCAR race and I enjoyed it tremendously. The weather was not great but outdoor events are always chancey. Las Vegas itself is tons of fun too with too many things to do. I could have used a full week there rather than just three days. The only problem was after the race it took 2+ hours to get out of the parking lot. They need another exit to the freeway .

    Kobalt 400 was a blast!

by Mollymollydoo on 3/9/16Las Vegas Motor Speedway - Las Vegas

First nascar race. Very loud. Renting headsets defiantly the way to go. Las Vegas motor speedway is amazing...huge. Tons of regular bathrooms. Never had a line. Could see the strip - except during the dust storm. Nice they let you bring in a water and snacks. Food/drinks very pricey. The in-person sights, smells, 100,000 fans and sounds made this an incredible experience. The only thing that could be improved is the parking. To get out, it was a free for all. The parking lot people did nothing to try to help streamline the flow of traffic. Also, when buying tickets very few choices seemed to be available. When we arrived, there were lots of better seats that were empty. I would have gladly sat on a bench seat instead of the regular seats we had in order to be closer to the finish line and pit action!

    Nascar Vegas

by Recognize on 3/9/16Las Vegas Motor Speedway - Las Vegas

Great Race and environment. Clean and plenty of bathrooms, easy handicap parking and in and out. The bummer is that you cannot get into the pits or center field unless you pay additional money, everything was additional in order to enjoy the entire ll event. This is ok, but gets pricey after you pay almost 200 each seat.

    Race was ok

by zemog on 3/9/16Las Vegas Motor Speedway - Las Vegas

The weather made the whole day dreadful.. Two dust storms plus rain and gusting winds. Took 4 hours to get back to the hotel which was 20 minutes away. Traffic at a total stand still.

    Awesome race. Take a helicopter

by JM50 on 3/9/16Las Vegas Motor Speedway - Las Vegas

What a great race. Great track. Awesome seats. Worst traffic I have ever experienced in my life trying to leave. We spent over 2 hrs just sitting in a line of cars to get out. Truck in park and turned off.

Lack of organization is an understatement...

by ContemporaryMotorcarErie on 3/8/16Las Vegas Motor Speedway - Las Vegas

This is our 2nd year using this group for transportation to/from the Sunday race. In 2015 we bought the tickets the same day as the event and it was $50. This year I bought them online and the only option was "VIP" for $100. Only because I knew how many people bought them last year, I bought them online this year. In 2015 after the race ended we waited over 3.5 hours in line to get a bus back to the hotel. We left the race at it's finish, and didn't hang around for anything. It was so hot on the blacktop and no stands open to even buy water. It was one of the worst programs I ever saw. Now, I know most will think, why would they even go back to that?! Well, I couldn't find anything else before the race this year or I would've. But here is the highlight, this year rocked (to a point). The VIP took you to the front of the line with no waiting to get a bus to/from. The WORST part of the deal was leaving the race. They had signs up near the buses, but no actual "line" to stand in. So one side of the sign says "Bus Line" with an arrow, and the other says "VIP". So what side do you think EVERYONE was standing on? Yep, VIP. And how many were VIP, 15. So how did I figure this out, I walked past everyone that had a green wristband on and went to the guy in the blue shirt putting people on the buses and asked why we had to get death looks in order to get where we were suppose to be? The answer was, well people just started lining up and it got out of hand. So I almost paid for nothing had I not took it upon myself to walk up to him and get the service I paid for... So in the end, if you can find a smaller shuttle service with the hotel you are staying with, take it!!! From check-in to leaving the race, this group doesn't put any major effort into making sure it runs smoothly. (LONG LINES at both ends, and very few people working the event to help)

This Nascar event is a must for your bucket list. You cannot bring in the traditional beer and goodies like other tracks, but the vendors they have bring you a good variety of food and beverages at a decent price. This event is well organized and easy to get in and out of. You must try the food truck that serves lobster sandwiches and lobster tacos. They are well worth the price and not cheap on giving you plenty of real lobster meat. The temperature was 75 degrees out which to the locals is cold but very hot for us east coast people. You must bring sun screen and perhaps a hand fan or gizmo to take the edge off of the heat. Awesome, awesome good times here!

    Hot day in Vegas

by Craig14 on 3/19/15Las Vegas Motor Speedway - Las Vegas

Having just come from the snowy east coast, it was almost unbearable in the glaring sun of Vegas. Our seats were also moved at the last minute to another section in a lower row; visibility was not the best.

    Nascar sprint cup Kobalt 400

by smallbore2 on 3/15/15Las Vegas Motor Speedway - Las Vegas

Great day out for all the family but won't break the bank unlike events in the UK, great atmosphere almost party like. Drinks and Food are over priced but you expect that so just take your own with you. Only down side is the queuing to get out of the venue at the end all the locals brought their barbeques along so were well prepared and were in no hurry.

Excellent race and pre-race activities. Leaving race track took over an hour to get out of the Speedway Blvd parking area. Recommend parking at the Turn one parking area by the helioport

    Nascar In Vegas

by Mosiso on 3/14/15Las Vegas Motor Speedway - Las Vegas

The ticket prices were fair and traffic to and from venue not bad but we went early and left as soon Harvick crossed the finish line so we beat a lot of the traffic. concessions had plenty of options and price wise about what you would expect overall great day with my Nephew, definitely going back next year.

    Great Track Soso racing

by bman549 on 3/13/15Las Vegas Motor Speedway - Las Vegas

While the track is one of the nicest on the NASCAR circuit the racing was so much. Easy to get in if you get there a little early. We left the Monte Carlo at 8am and stopped at 7-11 to get a few things and was there by 830. We took I-15 to Nellis and then over to LV Blvd. Since our seats were close to were we parked it was easy out and back to the hotel in 30 mins.

    Great Race

by Rick1300 on 3/13/15Las Vegas Motor Speedway - Las Vegas

Great Race, a little too warm and of course getting out of the parking lot after the race was fun.
