The race it self was awesome but the parking situation was so bad and had to walk 3 miles to get to the first gate with no trams or buses running. For that reason I will not comeback to the race again.
This was my second time to LVMS and I had a gr88 time! I love the fact that the midway attractions are on the outside of the gates. Even if you don't have a ticket you can still enjoy some gr88 events. If you ever get the chance to go.... DO IT! Some say the racing is boring, but I disagree. As long as I'm seeing my driver Dale Jr racing, it IS a good time to me, lol!!!
This is our fifth trip to Vegas for the Kobalt 400. I enjoyed the Vegas atmosphere accompanied by the Nascar race. However, you are really paying the price for this race. For me personally, $600 air fair to Vegas. $700 for our room for five days, $74 a ticket per person for basic seats, and $50 shuttle pass per person to the race. After arriving the track, you may not bring in any beverages or snacks. Soda at the track $4 a bottle, beer for $8 a can. Neon Garage (Pit Pass) $99 per person. Had difficulty obtaining the seats we wanted due to them being locked up for the weekend race packages. At the end, many tickets still available by the showing of the crowd. We will probably attend the Vegas race every other year. However, transportation to and from the race along with seat selection process/cost needs to be addressed.
NASCAR was awesome!!! For me, Brazilian, was an unforgettable experience!!! Unfortunatelly, I had to pay 20 USD more because I didn't print the e-mail sent to me by Ticketmaster... I had the QR code at my cell phone...
Was a really great race not very many crashes witch is always good .very fast paced amazing how the drivers control those cars at the high speeds that there moving . Was my daughter's first time at a nascar race and she absolutely loved it. Thank you Las Vegas ! PS: only bad thing was the price of food $20.00 for two hotdogs and two bottles of water!
This was my first Nascar race experience, so I dont know how to compare it to another such experience , but it was awesome! I thought Lvms was great, the only drawback I see is the parking situation. Getting out of there can be a nightmare! But we had heard that going into it. It took us one hour and ten minutes to get out of the parkinglot. But an event where there are 135,000 fans present, I guess it's something you can expect. All in all it was great!
Our first ever NASCAR race was great. The calm and speed of which LVMS has people flow in and out of the speed way is amazing. Draw backs were the tunnel to the neon garage cant handle the amount of people that used it, it was crowded and close to a stand still. also if you are expecting to meet drivers the day of the race is not the time to do it. I would suggest spending the extra money and go to the practice sessions when the drivers are in the garage area. Up grade your passes to the pits it was worth it. The only negative point was a I felt if you didn't have the high end track pass the some of the security treated the rest of us as a lower life form and were rude.
Nice venue. Do not recommend using the email version of tickets. Once you get near the gates there is very limited network. We almost didn't get ours to open. Not pleased with the way they handled exiting after the race
Good venue, plenty of restrooms, though a bit of a line to women's. Food lines after not to long and a few good trucks. Since this is the open desert, the cars are not to loud like venues like Phoenix... Not saying that's bad if you have ear plugs. Usually drive stinks but this year was vastly improved.
Kevin Harvick dominated as he started to last year but had bearing failer that caused a dnf but this year he did well and i got to stand watching my driver take the checkered flag
This was the first time I'd attended a NASCAR Race and it was all I ever imagined. I had a great view from the upper Richard Petty Terrace for the Race on Sunday, and got the FAN VISION option along with the NEON GARAGE PASS. Next time I'd like to spend all 3 days at the track and get some of the fan experiences that are available. Thanks to NASCAR and all the staff at the track along with the fans to help a first timer have such a memorable time.
we have been attending this event for last 5-6 years. This year finally saw some much needed improvements. Trash cans in the parking lots for one! A dedicated Pedestrian walk way from lots 6/7....yeah!
Had a great time at the race. Had perfect weather and our seats were great.
Had a great time. A little warm but good action. We'll be back next year.
Had a fantastic time, Can't wait till next year. Like all the fan areas, and concerts
This was our first NASCAR event and it couldn't have been more fun and exciting - unless Jimmie Johnson had won. We will definitely make this an annual event for our family. I recommend it to everyone.
Went with family of Nascar fans and although I don't follow the races continually it is an experience that cannot be missed. Excitement everywhere...lots of food and drink options, ladies restroom clean and line moved quickly...attendants in there keeping it clean and handing out paper towels. Fun!
Parking is awful no traffic control when exiting shouldn't take over two hours to leave with upgraded parking!! Waste of extra money
I brought my wife for her first race, she was pleased and I believe she will be looking for the next race.
Sunday march 8 was just plain fun. Sat in the front row right by the track just at the exit of pit lane... Interesting experience. However the cargo by so fast forget about trying to pick out numbers. The breeze from the passing cars was nice & kept us cool. The particles from the track were a bit of a surprise. I will get seats higher up next time so I can see the whole track and can tell which car is which.
