I thoroughly enjoyed Kinky Boots. The story was touching, the cast was superb, set design was well done, lighting design exciting, choreography amazing and fun, great orchestral performance, and the music of Cyndi Lauper was outstanding as always! Recommend it highly if it comes back to New Orleans.
I loved every moment of Kinky Boots... from the talented cast, to the costumes to the inspiring message of accepting yourself. It touched me in so many ways and on so many levels!
The audience was engaged in the story. The Saengar theatre is one of the most beautiful theatres around.

Fun show but the lead character, Charlie Price, was not a strong voice.

We went to the show with no expectations. We nothing about the story line. It turns out that this was one terrific show! The cast was great. The music was very god and we truly enjoyed the show!

The show was fabulous and well done- This was my second time and I would see it a Third time.
I loved this play! You could actually understand the songs and when people spoke (and I was not sitting close.) I loved the story line. Thought everyone did a fantastic job.
The dance numbers with the "girls" were fabulous. Lola was awesome. I cannot say that for the rest of the show. I could not understand 60% of the words spoken by the other actors. Sound was awful. Charlie and his girlfriend spoke too quickly to be understood. Words were not clearly spoken. As I attend many shows at the Saenger Theater and have not had challenges with sound, I have to assume it's this show. I give it 2 stars. Sorry...I was so looking forward to a great production.
The show was great seats were great except we had two very large people in front of us the created a wall which had us only able to parts of the stage at a time at no time could we see the entire stage. So I say it was great for what we could see
The vocal could barely be heard but not understood. No play I have been to has been satisfactory in the sound department. The play would get 4 stars but the Saenger would get 0 stars.
This was by far my favorite play I’ve seen my and boyfriend’s too!! Hope it comes back to the Saenger again!! We both smiled the entire time
