Kings of Leon are a four-time Grammy-winning rock band formed in Nashville, Tennessee. Since their inception in 1999, the group’s lineup has been composed of the Followill brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared, along with their first cousin Matthew Followill. The band emerged with their debut album, Youth & Young Manhood, in 2003, while subsequent releases like 2005’s Aha Shake Heartbreak and 2007’s Because of the Times further established the band as Southern rock staples in the American and international mainstream. Kings of Leon’s 2008 album Only by the Night earned the band’s first RIAA double-platinum certification with hit singles like “Sex on Fire” and “Use Somebody,” the latter of which peaked at a career-best No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. Furthermore, 2010’s Come Around Sundown and 2013’s Mechanical Bull both reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while their 2016 effort WALLS became Kings of Leon’s first No. 1 debut. In 2021, the group released their eighth album, When You See Yourself.

KOL rocked and had me on my feet all night. Such a great energy and sounded even better live. We danced, we laughed, we smiled...alot!
This was my first time seeing Kings of Leon and my first time at the Billy Graham Civic Center. Kings of Leon, quite simply, KICKED ASS. They are unbelievably good live, and give a good old fashioned, unpretentious rock show.
Great venue, great sound, lame crowd of youngsters, and the Kings freakin' rocked AND rolled the house. 'Twas a rock concert the way it is meant to be. And the openers, The Walkmen, were a pleasantly-good surprise. Favorite moment (cont'd) and the folks in the back cheered, as though he were complimenting them, or non-sarcastically dedicating the song to them. Then they blew the doors off of even that, their weakest most commercial song.
kings of leon was an unforgetable time of my life ,this show moved me.there is such great talent there and anybody who will be able to see them would have been super stoked when they left the show,it was so moving to here them live, totally worth my time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kings of Leon are an amazing live band! Caleb's voice sounds so wonderful live. I have been dying to see KOL again ever since I left the amphitheatre that day. They played a great mix of music from their latest and past albums. There was a bit of a technical malfunction towards the end of the show but the band (and fans) handled it all very well. No one boo-ed or complained. Caleb talked it over with the crew and got things worked out. After that, the show went on and everyone went back to enjoying music and friends. It was simply a fabulous night and a superior band. KOL is a must see for lovers of all types of music!!
KOL rocked the "City". This was the second time seeing the guys, the first was in 2005 in Dallas, and they just keep getting better. Got home and bought tickets for another show in Aug.
These guys had been waiting for their first big headlining show in the US for years.. they're like the Beatles in the UK, but didn't have the following in the US yet.. Amazing show to be at, because they were totally humbled to be there, and put on a ridiculous show.. Great seats right on the floor.. the energy in the crowd was great, and everyone was just as excited as the band was.. Definitely in my top 5 favorite shows of all time..
