King George on Tour
The soulful vocals and jazzy rhythm of the R&B southern soul singer and songwriter King George are taking him on a whirlwind trip to the top of the blues scene. Seemingly coming out of nowhere, he rose to prominence quickly in 2022, ending the year as one of the headliners of the famous Blues Is Alright Tour.
His 2022 hit single "Keep On Rollin" has more than 10 million streams on Spotify and millions of views on YouTube. And he's just getting started. His emotional lyrics and swaggering delivery are eclipsing the current roster of southern Blues artists in a swift way.
King George Live in Concert
King George grew up in Hampton, Virginia, and now lives in Hopkin, South Carolina.
He debuted in 2020 with the single "Leave & Party" and followed with five more singles that year, including the popular songs "Don't Let Me Be Blind" and "Love Song."
He gained notoriety with the 2022 release of his hit single "Keep On Rollin" and is expected to release his first album Juke Joint 2, in early 2023.
I had a fabulous time! Me and my bestie danced the entire time! Thanks for a great show!
The sound system was overplaying the artist! All you could hear was the music. It was horrible. It drowned King George & Sir Charles and a few more out!
It was a great concert. We traveled from Chicago for this event. One thing, if an artist falls from the line up I wish we could receive an email with an update.
Paid for floor seating. The folding chairs were to small for adults. After spending close to one thousand dollars for six tickets we were very dissatisfied being cramped up like cattle. Ruined the show
The event was nice but the space was too close on floor and could did not like the seating because the chairs was tooooo close
Hi,everything was nice. The sound system was off a little with the last two artists.
What an awesome show š„š„š„š„š„ I will definitely be attending the next show!!
It was a great show, no problem at all, seating was good, sound was great, security was tight
The music, performers, and host put on a great show. The show started on time and lasted over three hours! Each artist put on a great performance and there were no sound issues or failures with microphones. The only problem arose when people from the rear of the arena decided to walk to the front of the arena and stand in front of the people who paid for the front row/section seats. Security should have done a better job of keeping people in the sections they paid for. Stand up and dance at your $35 dollar seat, donāt come bother me in my $200 section š¤£
It was a lot of artist at the show It was worth the money
The performers did their thing. And they did it better than I expected.
I love how King George gives back to his community!!! Definitely love his musicā¦ Iām almost 2 something šš he has some fire music!!! Hopeful one day I could get a picture withā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø keep up the good work George !!! SC representing ā¤ļøā¤ļø
It was and amazing and wonderful show he showed out love me some KG can't wait to see his next big show
The sounds were off!!ā¦they were not catered to each individual performance. Some were extremely too loud others the performers microphones were too low. The accessibility of the venue and parking was poorly thoughts ro the handicapped plus not having ALL informationon websites, flyers, and any ads (ex. No pocketbook over certain size, cash only for parking and how much the cost, cards only at drink vendor. No signs posted so you want wasn't line standing time). Just beening prepared for smooth event for the paying customer all around. I notice that no fans was allowed to part in the parking of the venue (only across the street) all those empty parking spaces could be used for the fans with special needs. Most of the artists performances were great. King Georgeās energy was offā¦he performed as if he didnāt want to be there!! And this was his home crowd. People started leaving and Calvin Richardson played songs that the crowd was not familiar with. There was an awkward silence. Pokey Bear was the best!!! His energy was amazing, he rocked the crowd the whole time he was on stage!!! Love Pokey. Im a new super fan!!! Tucker did snippets of his songs due to time. But this is the issues for me. Having to many headliners on same event with a strong catlog of songs. Not worth the time and our money. J Won music was good. I new to his music The special guests are not worth mentioning. Seating was ok...but no where to place drinks. The floor where seats are was sticky like the had not been mopped. Felt really nasty. But with all that been said I enjoyed myself. Me and my 2 drinks $29.00. š¤Ø šš¾
I enjoyed the show. The artist engaged with the audience as if it was a community gathering down south.
Jam all evening!!! So happy we went. My lil sister treated me
All of them was great I loved the show my husband is the blues fan and now I am Lenny Williams greatest fan I love him
The venue was not the best choice for the artists that performed. They needed a space where people could stand and dance. The sounds were off as wellā¦they were not catered to each individual performance. Some were extremely too loud others the performers microphones were too low. The accessibility of the venue and parking was great. Most of the artists performances were great. King Georgeās energy was offā¦he performed as if he didnāt want to be there and Calvin Richardson played songs that the crowd was not familiar with. There was an awkward silence and people began to leave.
The concert was awesome. Me n my husband had a good time.
The show was excellent. It ended too early at 10:30pm , next time go to 11pm. Also let Calvin Richardson the last act, last at least 45mins. To an hour. I didnāt hear my favorite songs only one. He had what 20 to 30 mins n Iām being nice. For the reception before the show please add crab dip not to salty to the menu with crackers.
