KIDZ BOP Kids on Tour

There is no stopping the 21st century's most massive musical empire: KIDZ BOP. Since first being introduced in 2001, the self-proclaimed "No. 1 music brand for kids" has transformed pop music's greatest hits — even the most explicit of chart-toppers — into kid-friendly versions. It's proven to be a huge success, with multiple albums reaching No. 1 on the U.S. Kids charts nearly every year. Naturally, the KIDZ BOP franchise eventually grew beyond just recording albums to becoming a live performance force to be reckoned with.

After a nationwide talent search, the inaugural KIDZ BOP tour kicked off in 2007 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and hit up venues across the U.S. for more than six months. But it wasn't until seven years later that the brand took touring to a whole new level.

In 2014, the Dream Big, Sing Loud tour landed in more than 40 cities around the nation with the cast singing current hits by artists like Pharrell Williams, Ed Sheeran, and Katy Perry. This led to similar new tours each year, including 2015's Make Some Noise tour, 2016's Life of the Party tour, and 2017's Best Time Ever tour.

Also in 2017, KIDZ BOP expanded beyond the U.S., forming a cast of British KIDZ BOP Kids exclusively for the U.K. audience. But they also remained a hot ticket in the States, launching the KIDZ BOP Live 2018 Tour, followed by the KIDZ BOP World Tour in 2019.

Of course, each year features new performers, new songs, and new choreography. During these tours, the Kids perform more than 50 live shows each year. The seven-kid cast is chosen through a nationwide casting call that picks young talents to sing on the KIDZ BOP albums, star in their music videos, and travel North America as part of the KIDZ BOP Kids live tours. These kids are all multi-talent threats (some even have Broadway credits already to their name) and may just be future pop stars themselves.

    Okay Performance

by Momick on 6/22/15Packard Music Hall - Warren

I took my 8 year old daughter to see Kidz Bop. She was very excited to go, but didn't seem too impressed after the show. We've been to other concerts, and though the price was good and the seats were excellent, the show itself didn't pan out.

Standing room only for kids' show. Seriously?

by Chocohockeyholic on 5/9/15House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

Venue was standing room only. These were the only tier tickets offered for purchase. Would've paid more for tickets with seating if that was even an option. Doors opened at 12. Show didn't start until 1:00 and started with THREE opening acts. They were highly unnecessary because we had been waiting long enough and kids don't care about other performers. They just want to see the main act. First one was terrible! She was off key for 2 songs. 2nd opener was a dance troupe and 3rd opener was a good singer (she was also show MC) but bad MC. It was like watching a grade school talent show. There was only one waitress working the entire floor. Watching on the monitors did no good either because the resolution was so bad. The venue obviously didn't transmit with an HD feed. Also there was a segment with mom karaoke to 80s music. This was highly unnecessary as well because we didn't pay to watch moms and the kids aren't familiar with 80s music. This was all in the first half alone!!! The actual Kidz Bop Kids were great but I couldn't tell you about the 2nd half because my daughter wanted to go home!!! What does that tell you about the show? The organizers obviously don't have kids...

    Kidz Bop

by GirlsNiteOut2015 on 5/5/15House of Blues Houston - Houston

My friend and I took our daughters (ages 7 & 5) to see this show at the HOB. It was an upbeat, fun show and the Kidz Bop Kids were really good little entertainers. Live and learn...if you buy General Admission tix you stand...not so good for little kids unless you hold them up for the duration. An announcement was made to let the kids stand towards the front and the parents further back but no one listened to that suggestion. Kids get heavy after holding them for 2 hrs. Ha! Overall a good time but next time I'll know to buy seats!

by JayhawkFan99 on 3/4/15House of Blues Dallas - Dallas

I took my 7 y.o. son on a surprise "date" this past weekend. We both loved it. They sing a TON of songs & performed a lot longer than I expected them to as well. Definitely worth going to!!!

    Terrible venue

by bummedout44 on 3/4/15House of Blues Dallas - Dallas

Normally I love concerts at the house of blues, but not this time.. Terrible venue for a children's concert. There needs to be seats so that there is some order. My kids were pushed around and couldn't see. It was the worst $100 I've ever spent. the kidz bop kids were working so hard to entertain they did good it was just a terrible set up.

    Great show for kids!

by NKG4 on 8/5/14OC Fair & Event Center - Costa Mesa

This was an amazing show for my kids, 9, 7 and 5. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves as did I. Kidz Bop was engaging and full of energy. The opening act, Noah Urrea, was also incredible. He's very talented and we will definitely be hearing his name in the future! I highly recommend this show.

    Kidz Bop was great!

by tlcnursing on 7/4/14The Wellmont Theater - Montclair

Thinking my six year old would love this show...she did. I figured I'd be just sitting there surrounded by a bunch of screaming kids and get a headache...I didn't. These five kids have loads of talent. What a blast! They were singing and dancing and having such a good time it was infectious. Would do it all over again.

    Fun experience

by raritanriver on 7/2/14The Wellmont Theater - Montclair

My grandchildren love KidzBop and this was their first experience at seeing them perform live. They were not disappointed. Extremely entertaining. The meet and greet was a little disappointing. Compared to other 'meet & greets' feel it could have been more personal.
