Love the band, hate the venue
Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas - Las Vegas
This band is a 10/10. They are the best. I have not seen them since 2016 in San Diego so seeing them at the Brooklyn Bowl was a huge deal for me. This venue sucks. It is hard to get a good view. I understand I got GA, but this place is not accessible at all for short people. Whether you stand on the side near the bar or closer to the stage. Any far back, you are pretty much screwed. There has to be a way to accommodate short people in the GA. Not everyone can afford VIP or the seats upstairs. I was upset. As soon as you leave you place to grab a drink or it starts to get crowded, you are pretty much screwed :( I am 4’11.

Start time doesn’t mean to start time
Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas - Las Vegas
It was advertised to start at 7:00pm. Arriving early, we stood in line from 6:00pm - 7:00pm. At 8:00pm the opening band played for an hour. We were only able to see them on the video screens over the bowling alley. Just after 9:00pm, the main attraction, Khruangbin, took the stage and started to play. We could no longer see them because they stopped the video display. We paid over $300.00 (for two tickets), for a seat on a couch. As it was our anniversary, didn’t mind the splurge and figured we would have a great view. NOT! Did not know that our view would be totally obstructed by guests who had standing room only. Because we were seated, someone standing spilled their cocktail and totally drenched me. Great band. The venue was just awful.

Khruangbin never disappoints…
Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas - Las Vegas
The first time I saw Khruangbin was at Mohawk in Austin. A friend had an extra ticket and ask me if I wanted to check out this band. I was mesmerized by their sound and instantly became a fan. This was their 2nd time at Brooklyn Bowl. Great venue too. They never disappoint! I will not miss a show if they’re in town! 🫶🏼

Amazing live
Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas - Las Vegas
This band is meant to be seen live. Even the songs I don’t normally listen to on the albums were mesmerizing when experienced live. This particular tour, the A La Sala tour has more storytelling than I was anticipating.

Amazing
The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park - San Diego
It was amazing! Khruangbin is awesome. Hermanos Gutierrez could play a little bit more. But 10/10 for the night.

Band was great, VIP was poorly ran
The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park - San Diego
Khruangbin was awesome! The venue did not have enough signage guiding people to the VIP section, nor did the venue have enough staff passing out VIP wristbands!!! VIP bar had worse booze than the back bar!

I'd see Khruangbin every time they're in town
The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park - San Diego
The only reason it's not a five star review is that I paid extra for a VIP ticket knowing that I would not be able to get there early enough to get a good spot, however, there was no one regulating the VIP area so it ended up being completely pointless. Khruangbin was phenomenal and the venue was beautiful I'm just annoyed I paid extra for good viewing spot insurance only for it to not matter at all.

Amazing show
The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park - San Diego
It was an amazing show, great venue and sound for the band
Khruangbin is a three-piece band from Houston, Texas, formed in 2009 with Laura Lee on bass, Mark Speer on guitar and Donald Johnson on drums. Taking influence from 1960's Thai funk - their name literally translates to "Engine Fly" in Thai - Khruangbin is steeped in the bass heavy, psychedelic sound of their inspiration, Tarantino soundtracks and surf-rock cool. By the summer of 2019, the trio had been on tour for nearly three-and-a-half years, playing to audiences across North and South America, Europe, and southeast Asia behind its acclaimed albums The Universe Smiles Upon You, Con Todo El Mundo, and Mordechai. Garnering glowing praise from The New York Times, W Magazine, Billboard, The Los Angeles Times, The FADER, Khruangbin released their very first remix album, Mordechai Remixes, on Dead Oceans, in association with Night Time Stories, Ltd in 2021. Each remixer on Mordechai Remixes has a musical or cosmic connection to Khruangbin and remixers included Kadhja Bonet, Ginger Root, Knxwledge, Natasha Diggs, Soul Clap, Quantic, Felix Dickinson, Ron Trent, Mang Dynasty, Harvey Sutherland. Khruangbin worked with Grammy-winning R&B singer/songwriter Leon Bridges, from Ft. Worth, for two groundbreaking collaborative EPs, Texas Sun & Texas Moon. Further extending the lone star state's sonic possibilities, the sister EPs pensively examines Texas' musical perception, while paying homage to the marriage of country and R&B that's become synonymous with the region.
