Kentucky Wildcats Women’s Basketball at Memorial Coliseum
The Kentucky Wildcats women’s team competes at Memorial Coliseum, which opened in 1950 as the University of Kentucky’s primary athletic center. Initially, Memorial Coliseum was shared by the men’s and women’s basketball teams until the completion of the men’s team’s current home court Rupp Arena in 1976. Memorial Coliseum now houses four of the school’s women’s teams: basketball, volleyball, gymnastics and STUNT. In 2022, Memorial Coliseum underwent extensive renovation and reopened ahead of the 2024-25 college basketball season with a seating capacity of 6,250.
