Since my team did win, my review would be positive anyway :). But I think State Farm Arena is a great haven for basketball. We sat in seats that would not be considered great seats, but our view was fine, could see everything going on. Staff overall was pretty quiet but helpful if needed. Fans all seemed to have a great time from all 4 teams.
A great location for out if town guests. Hotels & restaurants all within walking distance. Plus, the Cats won
Venue has great sight lines and is easy to navigate! Concession options are convenient and reasonable cost!
The games were great - super entertaining. The concessions, however, were way overpriced, especially when compared to the Dome. We got 1 coke, 1 water, and 1 can of beer, and it was just shy of $50. So, eat before you come and hope you don’t get thirsty.
Four great teams, two good games! Can’t beat the experience…ease of access, getting into the stadium and out of it.
Ticketing, entry, event staff were all great. There were no live stats during the first game. When seated on level 3, you end up more out of the game than usual. We had to rely on our phones to get live game information. Not sure who decides what to replay/not to replay on the arena big screen, but fans were deprived of seeing many important plays or calls. Players, coaches, and officials are equipped to handle tough situations and the results. It makes no sense to deprive fans from seeing replays, ostensibly so that controversy and negative reactions are minimized.
The United Center has to be the most expensive arena/stadium that i have EVER visited, and I've visited 50+ in the US! $9.75 for a hotdog? $9 for popcorn? $17.50 for a 20oz beer? Ridiculous. Not sure if it was the event ($40 event t-shirt) or the venue! Either way, I will never go back!
The event itself was great itself but they jacked the prices so much I didn’t even have a beer when I’d usually have 8-10 at an event like this. Won’t deter me from going again though!
Love this event! We go every time they play at the United center! Always great games! So much fun!
Had at great time at our third Champions Classic. Always great games and venues and great crowds.
