KENNY LOGGINS IN CONCERT:
Soft rock superstar Kenny Loggins may be known as the "King of the Movie Soundtrack" for his legendary film contributions during the '80s, but he performs today like he's still climbing the heap — full of energy and vitality. Like good cinema, Loggins' familiar croon has the power to move fans through a range of emotions, a skill he employs expertly in his career-spanning concerts. With recent forays into country and children's music, Loggins continues to breathe new life into his music, underscoring a vitality that will follow him on the road for his 2014 tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
A maestro of soft rock, Everett, WA-born, California-raised Kenny Loggins came up in the Southern California high school rock scene. He got his start writing songs for other local bands, eventually forming his own group Loggins and Messina. As the duo's success waxed in the late ‘70s, they were rivaled only by Hall and Oates in critical accolades, fan popularity, and commercial performance. By the early '80s Loggins grew into his own as a solo artist and producer with hits like "What a Fool Believes" and "This is It." Loggins also became a go-to artist for soundtracks, most famously for "I'm Alright" in Caddyshack, the title song for Footloose, and "Danger Zone" and "Playing With the Boys" in Top Gun. The singer-songwriter stayed busy in the following years, releasing a handful of albums of children’s music in addition to soft rock.

It was an older crowd, but there was a lot of dancing and singing along with all the songs. Kenny and Richard Marx did a great job. My mother-in-law is 88 and she still talking about the concert!

Kenny Loggins can sing! So can Richard Marks. They were great,..and funny.
The music was fantastic and the crowd went wild! Couldn’t get enough ! Kenny is so talented and didn’t lose a beat. The musicians in the band are the best. The sax player, the guitarists and drummer were spot on. It was a fabulous concert!
I was smiling ear to ear the whole time!!!! a double treat of Richard Marx and Kenny Loggins💜💜💜. Both of them still have excellent voices on are great entertainers. I love their TVs on the side so you could see them up close, and the videos that were played during Kenny Loggins songs are just breathtaking about nature. I literally caught myself smiling the whole time, so thank you Kenny Loggins in Richard Marx.!!! The only downside of the concert in the beautiful new venue would be people coming in late or getting up in the middle of the concert to go buy drinks and disrupting the whole row. I found that to be very rude. Parking was very easy to get in and out of the venue.
I loved every second of it.. starting with Richard Marx.. both performances top of the line.. I think i literally cried the whole show while I danced and sang along. If they have another show I will be there!!!!! Love you kenny logins!!!
The Venue was awesome, but the combination of Richard Marx and Kenny Loggins was highlight of my many concerts in my life.
Kenny Loggins & Richard Marx concert was FABULOUS!! Truly a bucket list moment watching Kenny Loggins perform. I have LOVED his voice ever since I was a little girl.. The show was WONDERFUL… I’m so great full to have been in attendance for what may be his final tour… 🫶🏾
Kenny Loggins performed his entire repertoire and it was amazing. Being a “last tour” it was fun listening to him talk about the song’s history. Richard Marx was equally awesome and their duet was nice. We saw Kenny Loggins in 1979! And we’re glad to have had this opportunity to see him at the end of his concert career! Thanks Kenny!!!

First, the Venue is outstanding. Plenty of open space, easy access to the bars right inside the theater. Crowd was respectful, well behaved, and full of positive energy. (Way to go humanity!) Kenny and his leading act with Richard was outstanding. Kenny has always been an outstanding show (I’ve seen him 5 or 6 times) so it was super fun to see him during his final tour. He is such a great show, and his story telling throughout the show was really fun to hear. I went to school in Santa Barbara (his home town for many years) and therefore my many chances to see him live. He’s a great emotional place for me- so many fond memories with his music. Thanks for the memories Kenny- I know This Is It! but you and your music live on with me!
One of the best concerts I have ever been to! The venue is beautiful and new--no bad seats. The staff was friendly and efficient. The performers were first class.
I don't think anyone realizes how many hits Kenny Loggins really had except perhaps die-hard fans. I was first aware of Kenny Loggins when "You're Mama Don't Dance", came out in 1972 and I played that song in bar bands. Loggins and Messina did, Danny's Song. Loggins followed with "The House at Pooh Corner"and numerous collaborations with Michael McDonald and duets with the like of Stevie Nicks through the seventies. He did some TV specials before doing movie scores for Footloose, Caddyshack and others. Every song sounded familiar at least.
Just an amazing concert experience. I’d highly recommend attending any upcoming show at Thunder Valley. Their new venue is really nice.
This was my first time at The Venue - and I have seen Kenny Loggins many times through the years but this was the best seating and acoustics of any arena I have been to! Thoroughly enjoyed Kenny's performance - and Richard Marx too! Negative - food and drinks allowed. The people in our row got up 4 times during the shows to get food and drink - making everyone stand to let them by. Ugh. Thank you Kenny Loggins for all the memories!
Marx opening for Kenny Loggins was a treat. Entire evening was top-notch, with Loggins’ set superb. Would have liked to have heard more of his Loggins/Messina tunes.
Kenny's voice is still amazing. His stories were hysterical. He played all of his popular tunes and ended with some great music with Richard Marx. Only disappointing song was "What a Fool Believes."It was an awesome, awesome concert.
This was my third time seeing Kenny Loggins over the years. I have been a huge fan since I was in my 20s. I am 67 now. This was the best shell from Kenny that I have ever seen. He looks great, he sounds great. He sang all my favorites. The audience sang along to many of his songs. It was really a lot of fun! This was the best concert I have been to this year so far. I’d go back and see him again in a heartbeat. Five stars!
Venue was great. Seats we had were great. Kenny's voice wasn't the same, but got better as the night went on.
