Huge variety of gifted musicians, and powerful poetry and messages. Venue was phenomenal - massive sound system - crystal clear

  • A heavenly experience of the JOY & MEANING of Christmas

by Karan on 12/22/22The Anthem - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

__ Everything about the performance was perfect. __ Some people may think the Lessons were too long -- but I wish they had been longer. __ The logistics of getting into the theater were inefficient -- very long line to enter = anxiety. __ The staff was helpful. The greeter spent 10 minutes helping me find my tickets on my iPhone because I don't understand this electronic ticketing process. __ I was surprised that I was asked for my ID, which I didn't have with me.

  • An Irish Christmas

Beautiful venue. Fabulous musicians. Incredible spirit. My wife and I enjoyed the evening thoroughly.

  • Great time at Embassy

by Jozef on 12/26/19Embassy Theatre - Fort WayneRating: 5 out of 5

My wife and I saw the "Sing" Irish Christmas with the Getty's show. This was our first time to the Embassy since moving to the Fort Wayne area. The venue is a classic and I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. The sound was great, and the seating was comfortable. We had a great time and are looking forward to our next visit to the Embassy.

Wonderful worship time with the Christ of Christmas present in the music and in our hearts.

  • Inspiring and moving, divine talent and faith

Music was high quality, allowed participation and varied styles with a Celtic base and a devout faith in our Lord

  • One long commercial

by ToadK on 12/25/19Embassy Theatre - Fort WayneRating: 2 out of 5

The first half of the show was entertaining; fun energy, Irish dancing, upbeat. However, the second half was filled with interruptions about their sponsor, along with a large screen dropping down over the choir to watch commercials about that same sponsor. The second half also felt a lot like church (sit, stand, and sing on command), but the “selling” part of the show really made it not worth the time.

  • Thrilling!

Beautiful concert! Very special evening celebrating Christ’s birth! Extremely talented musicians and songwriters.

  • A wonderful holiday performance!

    by D. on 12/25/19Embassy Theatre - Fort WayneRating: 4 out of 5

What talented musicians, vocalists and dancers! The stage setting was a beautiful holiday backdrop. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening in the beautiful Embassy theatre. I felt that the first half of the show was more uplifting and a little more fun, the second half was more subdued. Also, we took our 85 year old 4’10” Mother to the show. The crowd was asked to stand quite a bit to join in singing. This completely blocked the stage from her view—quite disappointing to her as she was awed by the performers. Overall, though, it was a great show.

  • Amazing performance. Very well done and great musicianship.

by Keith on 12/25/19Embassy Theatre - Fort WayneRating: 5 out of 5

The theater is beautiful and the Getty’s and their band put on an amazing show. We really enjoyed hearing them play in the foyer after the show. The sounds could have been a bit louder up in the balcony.

  • This was an amazing night of msuic.

by Belinda on 12/23/19Stifel Theatre - St. LouisRating: 5 out of 5

The music was phenomenal. The musicians were top notch. The set design was beautifully simple. It added to the experience rather than deistracting. The audience participation was refreshing and fun. The best part about the night was that we were there to celebrate the birth of ou Savior. So glad you came to St. Louis.

  • Worshipful Evening

    by M. H. on 12/23/19Stifel Theatre - St. LouisRating: 5 out of 5

What a pleasure to gather with so many to listen to and sing Christmas carols. The musicians were great. The vocalists were superb. What a moving experience. If you are able you need to go if the Getty’s are anywhere near you. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

  • Sing!

by Busy Mama on 12/23/19Stifel Theatre - St. LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Our entire family enjoyed a beautiful evening full of carols of the Christmas season. The Gettys have a wonderfully diverse & energetic style of music that anyone can appreciate. Their passion to share the meaning of the music and the history behind the songs is evident and shared in such a way that all can remember. We will definitely see them again when they are in our area!

  • Just so-so

by Nana on 12/23/19Stifel Theatre - St. LouisRating: 2 out of 5

Up and down all the time!! I could have stayed in church and sung the Christmas carols. I expected much more - more Irish songs, more original songs, Instruments were great but singing was only average.

  • Know what you’re getting into...

by Spacey on 12/23/19Stifel Theatre - St. LouisRating: 2 out of 5

I was looking for a nice Christmas holiday concert to get in the festive spirit and I thought the Irish twist would be a great addition. The performance itself was great. These are top notch performers who put on a lively and entertaining show. What I had not anticipated was the 2nd half. I started to understand that we were in trouble when they instructed the audience to watch a video about healthcare ministries, featuring all of the good christian works as told by all of the white faces who interviewed on camera. We then were read scripture and it became a full blown traditional church service boasting a pro-life propaganda. Had I known, I would have never given my money to this organization. I will say that if you love Jesus and are pro-life and church is a big thing for you, this show would be great. I just wish I would have known what I was actually paying for up front.

Fun time of worship and singing at a great venue. Such a talented couple. Great band with some different instruments and also loved the Irish dancer. Hope the Gettys return to Seattle. 5* performance for sure. I especially enjoyed it because I was with my granddaughter.
