Keali'i Reichel gave a fantastic show: great music, great hula--Loved it!
He always delivers a wonderful and personal show. Hope he comes back next year!!
Even if you do not know Hawaiian music, the performance done by Kealii and his Hula dancers is amazing. They are all so beautiful and graceful and Kealii is so funny and loveable. Thank you for such a perfect, happy, beautiful night full of love and joy.
An evening filled with Aloha. Thank you for bringing back this great musician with his outstanding hula dancers. Smiles galore...he makes us all happy.
Beautiful venue, lovely evening… Fantastic concert! It’s been a long two years…
Seeing Keali’i perform his first concert in two years was magical. He was in great voice, and his musicians and hula halaus were also excellent. Keali’i was in great spirit and it was obvious he was enjoying himself, which caused the audience to enjoy the concert even more. Hopefully it won’t be another two years before he returns to California to perform!
Keali’i Reichel gives a great show. Excellent music. He always brings his dancers who are wonderful. It is outstanding entertainment. Everyone was really into the show. One new song, and many of his best. It was my first time at a Humphreys concert. I was surprised at how many seats there were and how close they were together. It’s a great setting, but the seating is way to close together. Even without COVID concerns, they need to space the seats better.
The show was fantastic. The venue is really awesome. You're surrounded by beautiful flowers and plants. It's a small place so even the last row is not far from the stage. Great sound. All the staff was so polite and helpful. Tons of free parking all around if you don't want to pay to park. It was a 2 hr. drive for me to get there but well worth it. I would love to go to more concerts at this venue. My only negative is the seating. I had read reviews ahead of time so I knew to bring a cushion. The seats are very cheap plastic folding chairs that are tie wrapped together. You feel as though you are sitting 1/2 way on the person next to you and the rows are really crammed close together. If you're sitting down and someone in your row needs in or out it's like everyone has to move to let them out. It's really a tight fit to squeeze past someone sitting and you're sure to have a butt or crotch in the face!! YIKES. Also the seating is all the same level so if you're short or the person in front of you is tall it can cause a viewing problem. If they improved the seating situation I would give this venue an A+
Mahalo for a great concert! The dancers were beautiful! The concert was better then I expected it to be.
The Keali'i Reichel concert at Humphreys was magical! Keali'i and his Halau were amazing and shared their spirit of Aloha with everyone present. My heart was filled with joy and love listening to the many songs that were performed. The dancers were gracious and lovely, conveying the story of each song. One shining moment occurred when Keali'i and some of the singers came into the audience and sang acapella, to his newly found sister. They continued singing and came to the other side of the outdoor theatre, where they stopped directly in front of us and continued singing. Again, it was magical! After the concert, on our way to our room, we met one of the dancers and chatted for awhile. She was as gracious in person as onstage. Mahalo!
Keali'i Reichel gives his all in his performances. It is personal and heartfelt. Love his preserving his culture and sharing it with his audience. He did not even take a break, which kept the aloha flowing and uninterrupted. He makes everyone feel like ohana (family). He is the best and transports his audience into his homeland.
Wonderful show. Loved the Hula dancers. Kaeli’i was great!
Seeing Keali'i Reichel live feels as though you are floating over the ocean in peace in Aloha. As if the entire audience is you Ohana.
What an amazing show and performance. Seeing Keali'i was long overdue and so worth the trip to Southern California to just see him in person. My only wish was the performance was a bit longer. One hour is much too short especially since he is much loved.
Humphrey's is the best concert venue. The location is superb, the parking is easy (and you don't have to pay an arm and leg to park), and there are no bad seats. The concert itself was fantastic. A perfect setting to see Keali'i Reichel, as it is very intimate. His show was very personal, the music and dancers were great. If you love Hawai'ian music and culture, Keali'i Reichel is a must see.
We always enjoy the show, year after year. He and his crew bring a little piece of home to us on the mainland. We love being taken back home.
Fun concert. Musicians and dancers were amazing. Keali'i Reichel is one of my favorite artists and activists. Listening to him live really brought me back to the islands. The venue was the perfect location for listening to Hawaiian music. The ocean breeze blowing and palm trees in the background were an ideal mood-setter. The biggest issue was the seating at this particular venue. It was horribly cramped and uncomfortable. The seats were cheap white "rental-type" folding chairs. They were zip-tied tightly together, so when you were sitting down, you were practically on top of your neighbors. The other issue was that were also multiple cocktail servers walking up/down the aisles constantly taking/bringing drink orders. It would've been slightly less distracting without the flashlights (but they needed to see in the dark). Overall, the concert was beautiful (5 stars). Despite the venue's quirks, I still enjoyed the night. One star off just for those annoyances, because they did affect my experience.
Love all the songs Loved Keali’i Reichel He was amazing as always
I love Keil’i and his voice is like silk. We saw his show last year and were amazed that he could still perform with the flu. This show was just as good and so moving when he went into the audience to serenade his sister. I don’t understand why the show is so short. Most artists at Humphry’s play for 2 1/2 to 3 hours
You CANNOT EVER, WILL NOT EVER enjoy a show more than you will enjoy Keali'i Reichel. For one night HE GIVES YOU HAWAII!!! His backup Ohana of singers, His Insanely talented dancers-and of course His humor, personality and voice are UNMATCHED!!! So very grateful to have been privledged enough to get tickets to see Keali'i--MAHALO NUI LOA TO YOU AND YOUR PERFORMACE OHANA FOR GIVING THIS WAHINE CHANCE TO BE BACK ON THE ISLANDS FOR ONE NIGHT!!!
