Kayzo on Tour
The DJ/producer born Hayden Capuozzo has always felt the need for speed. As a kid, the Houston, Texas, native sought his adrenaline fix by playing hockey for his school teams. But his love of fast-paced sports planted the seed for a different sort of passion. As he explained in an interview with YourEDM.com, "Music, electronic to be more specific, was always a big part of my mental preparation for games. I like to think of my music as how I played hockey — energetic and always moving."
After hanging up the skates, Capuozzo moved to Los Angeles in 2012. The world soon got its first taste of his manic mixing style when he entered the Discovery Project, a DJ competition hosted by Insomniac (the famed party promoters behind Las Vegas' Electric Daisy Carnival). His winning mix earned him a slot at Insomniac's Escape From Wonderland festival, Capuozzo's first-ever gig as Kayzo.
Over the next couple of years, he dropped a steady stream of singles and remixes that showcased his frenetic fusion of trap, dubstep, and hardstyle. His 2014 track "Tekken" earned placement on Illinois dance-pop duo Krewella's Ministry of Sound compilation, The Future Sound of EDM.
After launching his own label and metal-inspired merch line, Doghouse, Kayzo dropped his 2017 single "Wake Up." It was a delirious onslaught of ping-ponging electronic percussion, chipmunk-style vocal samples, and accelerated beats created in collaboration with Israeli dubstep duo RIOT. The track racked up 200,000 plays in its first day on SoundCloud and has since garnered more than 18 million streams on Spotify.
The inherently aggressive nature of Kayzo's music and DJ sets — where he's been known to slip in edits of metalcore acts like Bring Me the Horizon and A Day to Remember — made him a natural choice to provide an official remix for Papa Roach's nu-metal anthem "Last Resort" in 2018. Kayzo's EDM/rock crossover campaign continued with his first full-length album, the aptly titled Overload, which crosswired his blitzkrieged beats with squealing guitars and arena-sized vocals from Micah Martin of Iowa hard-rock outfit The Zealots.

I loved this show. Best show of the year so far! The live band element was amazing, the sound audio engineers did an amazing job. The sound wasn’t distorted at all. The energy of the crowd was in point. If Kayzo ever announces another show like this, I will be there!!!
The experience for Kayzo was amazing! One thing that could've put it over the top was the sound volume, I know we have sensitive ears but we are also able to bring in ear plugs for our own protection. every show I go to I bring ear plugs. This show me and my 20+ rave fam never needed to use them, as the volume was quieter than normal. I could have full on conversations with my group about 4-5 people lengths apart, usually you have to bury your mouth into someone's ear to tell them something. Sound > everything
First off the venue staff and anyone working this show was 110% on their game great job. THE PRODUCTION was Amazing awesome stage design each artist brought a unique sound that was amazing. KAYZO BURNED IT DOWN FROM OPENING TO CLOSE GREAT SHOW
Amazing performance!!! Had a great time, would definitely recommend.
This show was an absolute BANGER! All the openers and Kayzo have an incredible performance, and I would definitely see any of them again!
The staff were very nice and security wasn’t intimidating like I usually run into at most venues and show. Absolutely love the vibe
I never miss a headbanger show. 35 years raving and raging and Kayzo gave us one of the best shows ever. Nonstop delivery of perfect beats and Rock & Rolll! The whiplash will heal ;) but the memory will last forever <3
Love Kayzo, forever and always. I am excited for the Kia Forum but every set I’ve ever been too by Kayzo is amazing.
Wow! What a great night! The venue was clean and easy to find. The staff was kind as well. However, of course the sound check experience was a memory that I’ll never forget! Lastly the show was amazing. Sound quality at the theater was amazing! The energy was immaculate and I’m grateful that they let me bring my hoop. Thank you to the Buckhead theater, Live Nation, and of course Kayzo(Ben and Ty),Ray Volpe, and Automhate
Without going into too much detail, the backing beat of drum then snare is meant to be in the background of a song, not the focus of the song. We all know that beat, we've all heard it 10,000 times before. The three opening acts were indistinguishable from each other and from every other entry level dj out there. Turn down the backing beat and add melody, complexity, and layering to your sound.
Kayzo put on the best show i've seen in a long time! He is the king! The Roxian is also amazing. Quickly becoming my favorite venue
Honestly show was about what i expected production wise. But the crowd for that night was immaculate.
Kayzo was so much fun and the crowd had amazing vibes. My friends and I had so much fun!
Not only is Kayzo a great DJ, he took the time to greet some fans and he is a genuine guy. The inclusion of the drum and guitar solos really boosted the atmosphere for me. The venue was nice and spacious too. Definitely would see Kayzo live again, no doubt about it.
The venue was a little small for a big show like that! The set times were perfect, the lineup too, and kayzo destroyed Montreal like he does best. It was perfect, the line was quick we had room to breathe so it was cool to see a venu not overbooking the place.
I had a great time! Line up was amazing! Thanks for coming kayzo! Can’t wait to see you back at echo again!
kayzo was amazing.. there was plenty of space for everyone.. AC kept the place at a good temperature.. lots of bathrooms available and it was amazing that they had an area specific for medical emergencies
Kayzo delivers every single time!!! Thank you for the amazing show Hayden!
good mix of dub, dnb, and hardstyle, only downside is that he was missing lasers 😭😭and the visuals were kinda weak
