Best event to see golf pros up close and personal in the tri state area!!
How lucky is the Greater Cleveland and Akron area to have World Class golf in our area. Bridgestone did a wonderful job this year of hosting the tournament. The new offering on the course, such as food and beverage seemed to be well received and were a nice addition to the already good services available! All of the staff members that my husband and I encountered were very friendly and helpful and seemed to be enjoying their time volunteering for the tournament.
This was my first golf tournament. As an avid fan, having the opportunity to be so close to the players made the experience one of the best sporting events for me, ever. Thank you Bridgestone for making my first experience of the best ever! I will be back next year!
Great day of golf !!! Seeing the worlds best golfers up close on a beautiful course.
The event was great. Have gone before and would go again. However, the free $20 PGA gift cards promised with the purchase of the "good for any day tickets" were never received and have yet to get a response from the PGA. Poor service!
Great time. Fun event. Was able to get really close to the golfers and had an excellent view at multiple holes. We had a blast. Would definitly go back again. Looking forward to next year.
Had a great time. Firestone is immaculate and is a easy walk with plenty of shade. Firestone adjoins a residential neighborhood and property owners allow parking in their yards ($15). I was within 100yds of the action. Not very crowded at all on Wednesday when I was there. Sid trip to Amish Country was great too (30mi). Food and cheese is great. Be sure to take a cooler to bring cheese home.
Wonderful venue - Firestone CC always immaculate. Many of the top players in the world. Weather DC very comfortable. Good fun for family. And a good ticket value.
The course was amazing, the golfers were amazing, the volunteers and staff were kind and helpful. The parking was a little out of the way, didn't think we would ever get to the public lot. But everything from there was great.
Other than a bit of weather on Saturday the event was excellent. The golf was great and so was the food and accessibility.
This event was amazing. Watching the game in a classy venue, excellent competition, and great very skilled golfers made the week unforgettable.
Great venue, reasonable food and drink prices, up close to players. Friendly volunteers and staff.
The course is amazing, hospitality is first class, food is outstanding (especially the "Taste of Akron" venue with local favorites Swenson's burgers and Strickland's Ice Cream. If you only go to one golf tournament in your life, come to Akron to this one. You will love it!
The tournament was great, I just got unlucky with the weather, nasty, rainy weekend. Other than that, it was a pleasure.
I attend Firestone every year . This year they had many new changes. The addition of the Grey Goose lounge was very nice. What a great place to stop and get out of the heat .
Had a great time. The day was as close to perfect as you can get. Really enjoyed myself. Even got an autograph from Rickie Fowler!
The event was great except for the chair police at the 16th green. My daughter arrived before any golfers teed off and promptly set our chairs at the 16th green as we always do. We went and to the eleventh tee to watch some pairings and then returned to our seats or should I say where our seats were. Upon arrival the seats were gone and I asked the tournament official if he had any idea where the chairs ended up. He stated that he had taken down chairs that had been empty too long and those chairs were all piled up in the corner. Mind you he said this meanly and made us feel as if we had done something criminal. I guess there is now a new policy that no chairs can be left unattended. I think the policy stinks!!!!! Plus how long is considered unattended, if I get up to go to the restroom will my chair be taken away again or heaven forbid someone holes one from the fairway and I stand up to cheer will that count as unattended and again the chair disappears? I always believed that general admission meant first in the seats got those seats or as on a golf course the area. I have been attending this event since the early 80's and never have I had any reason to be upset at Firestone but this year was not as enjoyable!
Totally awesome experience...volunteers did great job putting tournament on...first class event
The golf tournament was one of the best sporting event s I have ever attended.
