Great event will go again. Its a great way to see the players up close
This was an elegant event. As one of the Tickets fore Charity participants, it was a thrill to be there to know that our organization was part of this. Being there had meaning for me. I've watched before on television, but it is nothing like being there in person. The course is like something you've never seen before, the volunteers were friendly, the buses at the parking lot that took you to Firestone were clean. I know this is golf, but I felt like I was at Wimbelton. I do not know how to play yet. But have spent lots of time at the driving range. I love being in the atmosphere of golf. And, the Bridgestone Invitational was some kind of atmosphere!
Had a great time at Firestone. It's a great event, even if you're not a big fan of golf. My wife and mother had a blast and can't stand to watch golf on TV.
We've been attending golf events at Firestone for over 40 years. ( Rubber City Open, American Golf Classic, NEC, Bridgestone, PGA) . It's always a first class operation. Keep it up..
This was once again a great way to spend the weekend watching a true professional play a fantastic game of golf. We go every year to this event because it allows the fans to see a great game and outstanding players. Wouldn't miss this ever!!!!
The event was awesome. We went back a second time as someone gave us tickets. We were able to watch our favorite pros play up close. It was easy to order and print the tickets on line and probably saved us time as we did not have to wait in line for tickets.
We attended on 8/6. Sat at 3rd green. Saw all. AMEN
It was a great weather day for watching the worlds best up close and personal. I've been there several times before, but this time was different as I took my son(his 1st time) before he leaves for his freshman year of college. I told him before we went how great this event would be and how close he could get to Tiger, Phil and others. We really enjoyed the day together and he left very impressed that it was as good as I told him it would be. Plenty of restrooms available, concessions were busy but moved fairly quick and all volunteers were friendly. The whole tournament is World Class. We will be going back again.
The Green Monster said it all. The course, the field and the finish all added up to a fabulous event.
I took my husband to the Bridgestone Invitational on Sunday August 9th for his birthday. We go almost every year & it is always a great event & very professionally run.
It was nice to walk around and see the different golfers practice. However cell phones were not permitted FOR PRACTICE!!!! I'm sorry but it's PRACTICE. I understand during the event but not PRACTICE. So if you have children good luck getting in contact with them or your babysitter. And you have to have a special ticket to get in the club house if you want to eat great food otherwise you have to eat carnival food.
I decided to attend The Bridgestone classic on Sunday, Saturday night. I saw the lineup of PGA pros and I had to attend. I have never attended any PGA event before and I wanted to surprise my father in law with tickets, since he had not been before either and the event was only 2 hours away. They did not dissapoint, we saw up close every PGA pro from Phil, Tiger, Fyruk, Kim, Garcia, Els, Oglivy, Scott on and on. This event is truly a great opportunity to see a Major type pro attendace without a Major crowd. I would definitely recommed the event and will attend again. I would not take a youngster on Sunday but will consider taking my 3 and 8 year old next year on Friday or Saturday.
Great expereience. Beautiful course. Convenient parking and shuttle services. Food was ok and wish they had served better food. My wife liked the overall experience but didn't like the restroom. It was mainly for men. I wish they were thinking of something like that for women as well.
Watching the PGA tour is unbelievable. They are so consistent and long. The Bridgestone event is always a professional event as was this year. All of the I's and T's were dotted and crossed.
Wonderful tournament. Very well organized and just a great first time experience for my son and I. Will definitely do again!
This was a very exciting Tournement. I will make plans to attend again next year. The course was in excellent condition and the hospitality from the volunteers was outstanding
If you love golf and you want to see the world's best golfers, go on Friday to the Bridgestone Invitational. We had no trouble getting to great spots, on the greens with no obstructions. Sitting or standing right behind the Par 5 , 526 yard #2 gave us a complete view of every shot. All of your favorite players are spread out through the field, so except for when Tiger comes through, it was never crowded.
My wife and I attended the Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club last Thursday and it was worth five stars!!! We were able to watch the greatest golfers in the world close up and personal. This event is a real treasure and shouldn't be missed. The weather and venue were great. It was a first class event that we are sure to attend again next year. Ticketmaster partnering with United Way so we could get our tickets and make a United Way contribution as well made it even better. Way to go!
We look forward to this event every year. Didn't get to talk to many of the volunteers but the people we did talk to were very nice. We sit on 11 green every year. What a view!
Practice makes Perfect. Tiger has mastered the course and event planners have elevated pedestrian and vehicle traffic flow to a new level. Both are champions. Disappointed, however, that Bridgestone felt it necessary to go out of state for transport buses. A slap in the face to Ohioans who feel our transportion services are in need of a little boost, and it would certainly help the State's slumping economy.
