"Kaskade's signature sound is as unmistakable as it is beautiful; a combination of dewy female vocals, tough electronic underpinnings, and memorable melodies." -- Billboard
The New York Times may have called him the "new face of electronic dance music" in a recent profile, but Ryan Raddon, known as Kaskade, has been in the trenches of the EDM scene as an original recording artist and in-demand DJ for more than a decade. He has released seven studio albums, including his latest, Fire & Ice, scored nine Top 10 hits on Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay Chart, created chart-topping remixes for everyone from Lady Gaga to Beyoncé, appeared at all the major summer festivals, and has performed between 150 and 200 headlining shows a year for the last 10 years, building a name for himself as an innovator of the EDM scene as we know it today, which has opened doors for the likes of Deadmau5, Tiesto, Skrillex and more. In doing so, he has helped to lay the groundwork for a titanic musical and cultural shift: a post-rock EDM revolution that has captured the imagination of a new generation of music lovers across North America.
Kaskade has been named America's No. 1 DJ by DJ Times and Pioneer DJ. In 2012, he will appear at this year's Coachella and Electric Daisy Carnival festivals, for which he has special performances planned, and will hit the road in June for his biggest headlining tour ever — 70-plus North American shows in just over three months. His own live show is a jaw-dropping spectacle that finds him performing in front of an 80-foot wide, three-stories tall LED screen that blares images synched with the music while strobe lights scan the crowd. Kaskade's belief in the transformative power of dance music to uplift thousands of people at once has had a significant effect on the U.S. scene. His ground-breaking double residency in Las Vegas at the Encore Beach Club (which had not even been built when he signed on) and Marquee has elevated the city's status as a premiere club-going destination on par with London, Berlin, and Ibiza, is another testament to his influence.
Growing up in the Chicago suburbs, Raddon was heavily influenced by New Wave bands like The Cure, Echo and The Bunnymen, and The Smiths that ignited his love for melody and lyrics and was strongly impacted by the house music scene that developed in Chicago. Following stints spinning throughout college and in A&R at OM Records, he began working on his own music, which includes multiple singles, EPs, and remixes, as well as the albums: his most recent 2011 release Fire & Ice -- which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Chart, No. 3 on the Independent Albums chart, and No. 17 on the Top 200 Albums chart, while the iTunes version debuted at No. 4 on the overall album chart. The Fire disc contains ten original songs geared firmly toward the dancefloor, while on the Ice disc, Kaskade delivers the perfect down-tempo post-club experience by remixing all ten songs. Both discs showcase the musical versatility tat has characterized his work ever since he began writing his own songs. This album was preceded by It's You, It's Me (2003), In the Moment (2004), The Calm (2006), Here & Now (2006), Love Mysterious (2006), Strobelite Seduction (2008), Dynasty (2010) and Dance.Love (2010).

My first show in LA! Was not disappointed! One of the best events of my life.
This is one of the best shows I've ever been to, and I rarely say that. I grew up to Kaskde's old tunes, so I thought this show was absolutely incredible because he played a mix of his old songs, new songs, and songs from his label. It was really on Kaskade on another level. Also, this venue absolutely made the night because it was spacious and well ventilated. Production was amazing and the stage was amazing. I would do it all over again if I could. Looking to more shows here at the LACC.
Kaskade played his most amazing set to date for unforgettable night.
By far one of the greatest events I have attended. The venue was just perfect for this. For the people that complained about long lines are the ones that got there late so it isn't the venues fault. The ac was perfect! Most venues you can't feel the ac and it get hot quick.
Amazing venue, great lighting, and the perfect atmosphere for a Saturday night out listening to one of the best, kaskade! Couldn't have been any better!
Kaskade was just amazing!! You had to be there to feel the crowd energy and the feels from when he played eyes and angel on my shoulder!! I didn't want the night to end! Thank you, Kaskade!
Out of all the times I've seen Kaskade, this tops everything! May 75th will forever be in my life! Everything was so perfect! The sound, the visuals! Especially the great VIBES! So happy I got to make the trip and unbelievable weekend happen!! <3
I loved this venue! It was perfect for this type of setting and music genre it was big and had lots of room for everyone! The event itself was fantastic, from the decorations to the atmosphere! I had a problem with my tickets and one male manager was very rude and did not try to help my situation at all but I was able to find another female manager that was very sweet and helpful and was able to figure it out! Overall I would definitely want to go to this event and venue again!
Literally one of the best shows I have ever been to! Thank you Kaskade for an amazing night!
Kaskade is the man. The LACC is HUGE. And the sound was amazing.
One of the best shows I have EVER experienced, the venue was perfect for this event
Kaskade himself was great ! But the line to get a wristband, I had to wait over an hour . On top of that after to get a drink it was ridiculous everyone pushing and shoving . Spilled my drink and people spilled drinks on me as they made there way back out . Should have been more coordinated in that part.
Kaskade never fails to put on an amazing show. Production was amazing, insomniac rocks at putting in all the little details that make the even worth every penny!
First concert in LA Convention Center was historic. 25,000 people pulsing on the dance floor. Top notch production and set from Kaskades crew + Insomniac made for an unforgettable night. Hopefully the first of many more shows to come at LA CC.
Great event. The venue was set up kinda weird, but all in all good job!
This was one of the most unforgettable events I have attended! Insomniac did an amazing job, there definitely needs to to be a lot more events in that venue. Normally I don't like indoor events but this really great! Very spacious and allowed for a enjoyable time when not being crammed together with 22,000 people. Kaskade alone never ceases to amaze me and did a wonderful job at that. Over all the event was great and I really hope to get the chance to attend another event at the LACC location.
it was incredible. The vibes. THE VENUE! i willl never ever EVER forget this night.
truly mind blowing. 3rd time seeing kaskade. intro was sick, with sick visuals of landmarks across LA and helicopter view flying over downtown, then he started off with a remix of sunny lax enceladus and move for me. i think it was the same song he started off with at ultra too. but it was insane. also i have to mention the ending. ended off with eyes, the screens had huge pictures of eyes dilating in and out and then he unleashed at least 3 tons of confetti on our faces for a solid 60 seconds. i jumped as high as i could and lost my voice from screaming until i couldnt breathe anymore
On par with his Nocturnal San Bernardino 2011 & his EDC LA 2010 Coliseum set I will never forget this night. Thanks so much for making this happen!
Best show of my life!!! Kaskade is king!!! LA LOVES KASKADE!! please do it again soon
