"Kaskade's signature sound is as unmistakable as it is beautiful; a combination of dewy female vocals, tough electronic underpinnings, and memorable melodies." -- Billboard
The New York Times may have called him the "new face of electronic dance music" in a recent profile, but Ryan Raddon, known as Kaskade, has been in the trenches of the EDM scene as an original recording artist and in-demand DJ for more than a decade. He has released seven studio albums, including his latest, Fire & Ice, scored nine Top 10 hits on Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay Chart, created chart-topping remixes for everyone from Lady Gaga to Beyoncé, appeared at all the major summer festivals, and has performed between 150 and 200 headlining shows a year for the last 10 years, building a name for himself as an innovator of the EDM scene as we know it today, which has opened doors for the likes of Deadmau5, Tiesto, Skrillex and more. In doing so, he has helped to lay the groundwork for a titanic musical and cultural shift: a post-rock EDM revolution that has captured the imagination of a new generation of music lovers across North America.
Kaskade has been named America's No. 1 DJ by DJ Times and Pioneer DJ. In 2012, he will appear at this year's Coachella and Electric Daisy Carnival festivals, for which he has special performances planned, and will hit the road in June for his biggest headlining tour ever — 70-plus North American shows in just over three months. His own live show is a jaw-dropping spectacle that finds him performing in front of an 80-foot wide, three-stories tall LED screen that blares images synched with the music while strobe lights scan the crowd. Kaskade's belief in the transformative power of dance music to uplift thousands of people at once has had a significant effect on the U.S. scene. His ground-breaking double residency in Las Vegas at the Encore Beach Club (which had not even been built when he signed on) and Marquee has elevated the city's status as a premiere club-going destination on par with London, Berlin, and Ibiza, is another testament to his influence.
Growing up in the Chicago suburbs, Raddon was heavily influenced by New Wave bands like The Cure, Echo and The Bunnymen, and The Smiths that ignited his love for melody and lyrics and was strongly impacted by the house music scene that developed in Chicago. Following stints spinning throughout college and in A&R at OM Records, he began working on his own music, which includes multiple singles, EPs, and remixes, as well as the albums: his most recent 2011 release Fire & Ice -- which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Chart, No. 3 on the Independent Albums chart, and No. 17 on the Top 200 Albums chart, while the iTunes version debuted at No. 4 on the overall album chart. The Fire disc contains ten original songs geared firmly toward the dancefloor, while on the Ice disc, Kaskade delivers the perfect down-tempo post-club experience by remixing all ten songs. Both discs showcase the musical versatility tat has characterized his work ever since he began writing his own songs. This album was preceded by It's You, It's Me (2003), In the Moment (2004), The Calm (2006), Here & Now (2006), Love Mysterious (2006), Strobelite Seduction (2008), Dynasty (2010) and Dance.Love (2010).

Kaskade's show at the staples center turned out to be amazing! I bought tickets for my boyfriend's birthday and we had the time of our lives! I was a little worried when we got to our seats realizing how far up they were but I think seeing a show like Kaskade from that angle was an entirely different experience! So thank you Kaskade and thank you Staples center!
Simply unforgettable....i've seen kaskade 5 times but this was probably the most memorable show. Amazing crowd and venue.
The event should have gone later than it did. It should not have ended at 11 that was to early for the type of event you were throwing.
Kaskade made history first edm dj to headline staples who is next >>
Is there a rewind button for life? If there was, I'd go back to this night over and over again.
Kaskade was awesome! Only problem was that he didn't play long enough. Needs a 3+hour set!
Besides not having room to dance in the seated area Kaskade was phenomenal as usual. Indescribable really.
It was an amazing night! The entire set was just out of this world! Only thing that disappointed me was that it ended too early.. but overall had a blast!
One of the best events I've been to so far! Besides EDC hope there are more events similar to this one, thank you so much for the experience Kaskade!!!
This is the best concert I have ever been to. I will remember this day forever. Kaskade really knows how to put on an amazing show. The production was amazing. Worth every penny and more.
I had an amazing night. I met new friends I saw my old friends and I heard some new songs that I haven't heard before. I didn't want it to end. It was amazing I felt like I was in another world. Kaskade is amazing. All his songs were so upbeat and crazy!! I took so many pictures and videos and I can't stop looking at them. I wish it lasted longer I was having the time of my life! Wow I can't explain how amazing it was I'm so HAPPPYY I went. I can't wait till his next concert in LA.
The show was great. Things went smooth. However, I did not enjoy having to be at my seat all the time. I prefer the show he had at the Palladium because there were no seats, just one big open space. The music as ok. Did not like the trance-sy motif he has now. I like his house dancy stuff more. I have seen this 3 times, this was my last one.
Words cannot begin to describe how amazing this.event was!! Hands down he blew my mind ! I just let his music move me & take over my mind!! Love him!!
Once again Kaskade played an amazing show. He did a double encore. The only problem with the show was that it was too short. Especially for the price. When he played the palladium it he played until 4 am. This show ended around 11:15. I wanted it to go on longer into the night, but he was playing another show at LA Exchange.
Great Performance !!!!! Sound, lighting and crowd made for a memorable evening.
The sound was good i guess i just expected it to be louder. Very good show just wish i wuld of known not to buy tickets because later on he was going to push the stage back so more floor access tickets could sell. Alvin risk killed it too!
First time going to staple center and to see kaskade words can not describe how Awsome it was I would do it all over again !! Way to go kaskade !!!!!! :)
Kaskade was so dope. Unfortunately, I missed Alvin and Fareoh but I still thought Kaskade killed it!
Ive seen Kaskade a great amount of times and I have yet to be disappointed ! He was amazing x10 words can't even describe how amazing he was,as he always is. I had nothing but smiles on my face the entire night!! It was better than I had imagined it would be. I do wish I was on the floor closer to him but I was there and that is all that mattered! Thank you for such a breath taking night I have so much to be thankful for! Much love for Kaskade!!!!
