"Kaskade's signature sound is as unmistakable as it is beautiful; a combination of dewy female vocals, tough electronic underpinnings, and memorable melodies." -- Billboard
The New York Times may have called him the "new face of electronic dance music" in a recent profile, but Ryan Raddon, known as Kaskade, has been in the trenches of the EDM scene as an original recording artist and in-demand DJ for more than a decade. He has released seven studio albums, including his latest, Fire & Ice, scored nine Top 10 hits on Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay Chart, created chart-topping remixes for everyone from Lady Gaga to Beyoncé, appeared at all the major summer festivals, and has performed between 150 and 200 headlining shows a year for the last 10 years, building a name for himself as an innovator of the EDM scene as we know it today, which has opened doors for the likes of Deadmau5, Tiesto, Skrillex and more. In doing so, he has helped to lay the groundwork for a titanic musical and cultural shift: a post-rock EDM revolution that has captured the imagination of a new generation of music lovers across North America.
Kaskade has been named America's No. 1 DJ by DJ Times and Pioneer DJ. In 2012, he will appear at this year's Coachella and Electric Daisy Carnival festivals, for which he has special performances planned, and will hit the road in June for his biggest headlining tour ever — 70-plus North American shows in just over three months. His own live show is a jaw-dropping spectacle that finds him performing in front of an 80-foot wide, three-stories tall LED screen that blares images synched with the music while strobe lights scan the crowd. Kaskade's belief in the transformative power of dance music to uplift thousands of people at once has had a significant effect on the U.S. scene. His ground-breaking double residency in Las Vegas at the Encore Beach Club (which had not even been built when he signed on) and Marquee has elevated the city's status as a premiere club-going destination on par with London, Berlin, and Ibiza, is another testament to his influence.
Growing up in the Chicago suburbs, Raddon was heavily influenced by New Wave bands like The Cure, Echo and The Bunnymen, and The Smiths that ignited his love for melody and lyrics and was strongly impacted by the house music scene that developed in Chicago. Following stints spinning throughout college and in A&R at OM Records, he began working on his own music, which includes multiple singles, EPs, and remixes, as well as the albums: his most recent 2011 release Fire & Ice -- which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Chart, No. 3 on the Independent Albums chart, and No. 17 on the Top 200 Albums chart, while the iTunes version debuted at No. 4 on the overall album chart. The Fire disc contains ten original songs geared firmly toward the dancefloor, while on the Ice disc, Kaskade delivers the perfect down-tempo post-club experience by remixing all ten songs. Both discs showcase the musical versatility tat has characterized his work ever since he began writing his own songs. This album was preceded by It's You, It's Me (2003), In the Moment (2004), The Calm (2006), Here & Now (2006), Love Mysterious (2006), Strobelite Seduction (2008), Dynasty (2010) and Dance.Love (2010).

It was a great concert! Unforgettable night. Kaskade was amazing and the opening dj's got the crowd pumped up. Only thing is that i wish there were MORE WATER STATIONS
Faraoh did a good job, not as much a fan of Alvin Risk. Good songs, good length too, though there could have been a lot more visuals. The smoke blasts were great to cool you down, and the atmosphere was crazy while not out of control. Id recommend.
The venue was awesome! A lot of room to dance but you were still pretty close to the stage. The opening DJ's were really good, luckily there wasn't a lot of time between sets. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
This show was very fun! Super SUPER crowded though. The two DJs that opened for Kaskade we're better than his show in my personal opinion.
This was my best friend's 23rd birthday and we celebrated to the max at Kaskade "Freaks of Nature". This is the one night I'll never forget. The music was amazing. The visual was stunning. Lastly, the people showed the best of plur around.
It's not the hardest show I've been to, but Kaskade knows how to move a crowd. Not to mention, this concert brought in some of the most amazing people I've ever met. I made new friends, danced my butt off and had a blast. If that's what you are looking to do, then go see Kaskade ASAP. You'll never forget it!!!
The night couldn't have been better, take me back!
Lasers, confetti, fog, heavy bass and amazing visuals. What else could you ask for?
This event was so much fun! Dance partied with my friends all night and had a blast. MY only gripe is that the show ended by 12, which was early for this type of event.
Absolutely mind blowing. Great event, entrance was quick and efficient and security was welcoming and helpful. Venue was large and spacious, although dance floor was very hot.
Holy crap, that was an amazing show! Looking forward to the next event
I was definitely a great show. Kaskade is a great D and B DJ and put on a really great show. Lots of really popular mixes, with some new things thrown in as well. I would totally go see it again.
I think everyone should check out Kaskade at least once in their life, even if his genre of music is not their type. I loved all of it! The lights and mixes of his songs were awesome, as always. To top it off, the crowd's energy was simply electrifying.
Good show, I always enjoy the diverse group of people at Red Rocks electronic shows. Good dancing, good visuals, good music; and the rain was really nice!
The whole night was perfect! From the environment to the light rain that cooled us off throughout the early evening. And later, a soft breeze blowing through the beautiful red rocks. And the music? Amazing. I didn't stop dancing!! The people around us were great! Everyone was kind and respectful and a lot of fun to hang out with!
Great show! Had everyone dancing!!! GREAT PLAYLIST!!!
Kaskade had an amazing set at Red Rocks, even through the rain :)
One of the best edm sets i have ever seen a DJ put on. Absolutely amazing set and visuals. Could have had more lazers though, but i'm not complaining. The openers were great too, alvin risk was going h.a.m.
The show was fun but didn't live up to my expectations of what the number one DJ (according to some big magazine) would look like. Played very few of the many tracks I knew.
Great show! The weather during the first DJ's was POURING RAIN, but it added to the excitement I think. And Kaskade KILLED it. Bottome line.
