"Kaskade's signature sound is as unmistakable as it is beautiful; a combination of dewy female vocals, tough electronic underpinnings, and memorable melodies." -- Billboard
The New York Times may have called him the "new face of electronic dance music" in a recent profile, but Ryan Raddon, known as Kaskade, has been in the trenches of the EDM scene as an original recording artist and in-demand DJ for more than a decade. He has released seven studio albums, including his latest, Fire & Ice, scored nine Top 10 hits on Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay Chart, created chart-topping remixes for everyone from Lady Gaga to Beyoncé, appeared at all the major summer festivals, and has performed between 150 and 200 headlining shows a year for the last 10 years, building a name for himself as an innovator of the EDM scene as we know it today, which has opened doors for the likes of Deadmau5, Tiesto, Skrillex and more. In doing so, he has helped to lay the groundwork for a titanic musical and cultural shift: a post-rock EDM revolution that has captured the imagination of a new generation of music lovers across North America.
Kaskade has been named America's No. 1 DJ by DJ Times and Pioneer DJ. In 2012, he will appear at this year's Coachella and Electric Daisy Carnival festivals, for which he has special performances planned, and will hit the road in June for his biggest headlining tour ever — 70-plus North American shows in just over three months. His own live show is a jaw-dropping spectacle that finds him performing in front of an 80-foot wide, three-stories tall LED screen that blares images synched with the music while strobe lights scan the crowd. Kaskade's belief in the transformative power of dance music to uplift thousands of people at once has had a significant effect on the U.S. scene. His ground-breaking double residency in Las Vegas at the Encore Beach Club (which had not even been built when he signed on) and Marquee has elevated the city's status as a premiere club-going destination on par with London, Berlin, and Ibiza, is another testament to his influence.
Growing up in the Chicago suburbs, Raddon was heavily influenced by New Wave bands like The Cure, Echo and The Bunnymen, and The Smiths that ignited his love for melody and lyrics and was strongly impacted by the house music scene that developed in Chicago. Following stints spinning throughout college and in A&R at OM Records, he began working on his own music, which includes multiple singles, EPs, and remixes, as well as the albums: his most recent 2011 release Fire & Ice -- which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Chart, No. 3 on the Independent Albums chart, and No. 17 on the Top 200 Albums chart, while the iTunes version debuted at No. 4 on the overall album chart. The Fire disc contains ten original songs geared firmly toward the dancefloor, while on the Ice disc, Kaskade delivers the perfect down-tempo post-club experience by remixing all ten songs. Both discs showcase the musical versatility tat has characterized his work ever since he began writing his own songs. This album was preceded by It's You, It's Me (2003), In the Moment (2004), The Calm (2006), Here & Now (2006), Love Mysterious (2006), Strobelite Seduction (2008), Dynasty (2010) and Dance.Love (2010).

Kaskade put on the best show with every song I love! The lights and graphics were sick! I need to have GA for sure next time!
We had an amazing evening. The show was impressive very professional. We'll love to go back next time they come to Miami.
Everything about this show was great! The music, lights, energy! I had an actual seat with a great view of everything! Loved the show!
I love Kaskade wholeheartedly since pretty much the beginning of his career when he would play super small venues and I could dance right in front of his turntables. But having his event at Staples I think was a big mistake, it just wasn't the right venue. It was stressful and hard to dance and move around. I felt so constricted and clausterphobic, just the energy didn't seem right and the people who worked there were not helpful except for a handful of nice ones. It just was overall upsetting and even more so cause I took my two friends for their birthdays and it was just average when I usually except more from Kaskade. The whole seating arrangement was just wrong for this event.
It was organized, and we werent trampled. Kaskade was amazing as usual, i just wish he wouldve been on a little longer... but overall good experience, i would definitely do it again!! :)
such a great time with amazing people. i cannot wait for next year!
He was simply amazing, it was totally packed, but not too crowded. Kaskade just puts on a great show.
We had great seats almost center stage. His opener was rad, he had a great stage setup where you could see his silhouette. He was dancing jumping around and just having a great time. He got the crowd rocking and ready to party. When Kascade came on the entire set changed. Huge video walls with unmistakable clarity. His set list was perfect, the visuals were outstanding. We even got things like paper feathers, bubbles, and even large pink balloons floating and bouncing around in the stadium sky. If I ever have another chance to see him in another intimate setting like staples center I will definitely be one of the first to buy tickets. ( Lol, I was actually the 3rd person standing in line at Staples Center when the tickets went public. It was well worth it!)
Kaskade was amazing at the Staples Center in LA! He was also the first major EDM artist to perform at this venue (In real speak, opening act #1 Fareoh was the first EDM artist to peform) The two opening acts were amazing, and the theme was amazing. I ran out of words but yes... This show was AWESOME.
INCREDIBLE. Kaskade is amazing. Such incredible lights and music. And indescribable energy.
This was my first Kaskade event, and I can honestly say he KILLED it! I came to the concert expecting Ryan to play new music off "Fire and Ice", but he did a wonderful mix of old and new songs, classic songs and lesser-known songs. Kaskade really puts on a great show, from the lights, to the way he works the crowd, to the amazing music! I would definitely go again! It's a night you will never forget!
Kaskade was as good as expected being one of the best djs in the game. Only downside was the venue not living up to seeing him at identity last year. Gorge > Wamu every time.
Amazing show! From start to finish! There was not one moment where I was not jumping around to Kaskade's ENTIRE set! It was a bit hot but honestly, that wasn't something I was concerned with. Dress the part for an event like this and enjoy yourself!
The show was awesome! And the after party at the Showbox was even better. I am so glad I went to both.
This was the 5th time for me seeing him. Everytime its a little different. This man is just amazing. Alvin Risk and Fareoh i'd definitely pay to see again and of course Johnny Monsoon I see every time he's in town!!
Kaskade was the best concert of the year! Even though the weather didn't want to cooperate the fans didn't let that stop them...neither did Kaskade. His music kept us going!
Even though this event ended at 12am, I still had a blast. I would recommend everyone and anyone to have this be their first event if they aren't trying to stay up until 4-6am.
I honestly wish I could go right back to that show. One of the most energetic crowds I've ever seen. I can't wait until the next tour, Fareoh started and was great, then Alvin risk blew it away. Then Kaskade started and just topped it all off.
Music and people were great. Wish it was a 18+ or better yet 21+ show but I understand. The setup was just ok and the sound quality was sub par. Beer was overpriced like everything else but overall I had fun.
Great performance! Loved Fareoh's and Risk's set, but kaskade totally rocked my shirt off!
