"Kaskade's signature sound is as unmistakable as it is beautiful; a combination of dewy female vocals, tough electronic underpinnings, and memorable melodies." -- Billboard
The New York Times may have called him the "new face of electronic dance music" in a recent profile, but Ryan Raddon, known as Kaskade, has been in the trenches of the EDM scene as an original recording artist and in-demand DJ for more than a decade. He has released seven studio albums, including his latest, Fire & Ice, scored nine Top 10 hits on Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay Chart, created chart-topping remixes for everyone from Lady Gaga to Beyoncé, appeared at all the major summer festivals, and has performed between 150 and 200 headlining shows a year for the last 10 years, building a name for himself as an innovator of the EDM scene as we know it today, which has opened doors for the likes of Deadmau5, Tiesto, Skrillex and more. In doing so, he has helped to lay the groundwork for a titanic musical and cultural shift: a post-rock EDM revolution that has captured the imagination of a new generation of music lovers across North America.
Kaskade has been named America's No. 1 DJ by DJ Times and Pioneer DJ. In 2012, he will appear at this year's Coachella and Electric Daisy Carnival festivals, for which he has special performances planned, and will hit the road in June for his biggest headlining tour ever — 70-plus North American shows in just over three months. His own live show is a jaw-dropping spectacle that finds him performing in front of an 80-foot wide, three-stories tall LED screen that blares images synched with the music while strobe lights scan the crowd. Kaskade's belief in the transformative power of dance music to uplift thousands of people at once has had a significant effect on the U.S. scene. His ground-breaking double residency in Las Vegas at the Encore Beach Club (which had not even been built when he signed on) and Marquee has elevated the city's status as a premiere club-going destination on par with London, Berlin, and Ibiza, is another testament to his influence.
Growing up in the Chicago suburbs, Raddon was heavily influenced by New Wave bands like The Cure, Echo and The Bunnymen, and The Smiths that ignited his love for melody and lyrics and was strongly impacted by the house music scene that developed in Chicago. Following stints spinning throughout college and in A&R at OM Records, he began working on his own music, which includes multiple singles, EPs, and remixes, as well as the albums: his most recent 2011 release Fire & Ice -- which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Chart, No. 3 on the Independent Albums chart, and No. 17 on the Top 200 Albums chart, while the iTunes version debuted at No. 4 on the overall album chart. The Fire disc contains ten original songs geared firmly toward the dancefloor, while on the Ice disc, Kaskade delivers the perfect down-tempo post-club experience by remixing all ten songs. Both discs showcase the musical versatility tat has characterized his work ever since he began writing his own songs. This album was preceded by It's You, It's Me (2003), In the Moment (2004), The Calm (2006), Here & Now (2006), Love Mysterious (2006), Strobelite Seduction (2008), Dynasty (2010) and Dance.Love (2010).

Had a great time - heard it was the last pool party here but I thought it was a blast. Kaskade is awesome.
The ticket for Kaskade said 1pm - figured there would be a few openers before the main headline but would’ve been nice to know that Kaskade wasn’t performing until 6:30pm. It was 113° and there was barely any shade. People were getting wheeled out by EMTs from the heat. Thankfully water was free, but everyone would’ve appreciated a lineup announcement so we didn’t have to overheat for 5 hours!
Amazing time and incredible vibes! Everyone was super nice and awesome! The music was offf the hook i love kaskade and john summit they both killed it!!!
What a beautiful venue. Everything was nice and smooth Love how was lighted
New Years Eve with Kaskade at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium San Francisco was absolutely amazing but let me tell you the REDUX AFTER PARTY at Midway was on another level. Honestly Kaskade always gives 1000% and my hubby and I had the best time and would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank You Kaskade :)
Such a great show. The music, the lights, the energy. Absolutely amazing!
My first Kaskade show in the books, however, it wasn’t what I expected. I had fun with my group and expected there to be a wide range of sub genres (especially with the B2B featuring John Summit) but it was techno night. I feel I overpaid even though the venue was nice, event parking came out to $40 totaling the night to $200+. Considering it’s almost half an EDC festival ticket I wouldn’t pay that much to see this show again. This is my honest opinion and would love to see Kaskade play some more of his classics.
Hands down a great night. Been to four or more New Years events with Kaskade at Bill Graham and I have had nothing but great vibes every single time I've gone.
Kaskade brought it and brought it hard. He took us to the sky and made everyone feel beautiful again. He is the absolute best!!
Kaskade brought it for NYE. He is my favorite if all time. Amazing show.
The night seemed off. Kaskade was good but the other Dj’s just were boring.
Always love Kaskade but the NOTO venue is HORRIBLE!!! It was overcrowded all the way to the bar area. That venue doesn't deserve the djs they have been getting
I’ve seen Kaskade 7 times now and this was the most disappointing set for me. I think I had high expectations for a venue that hosts mostly big room djs. I like the laser light shows but the strobes were overwhelming to me. And unfortunately Kaskade’s set felt very canned to me. I did like that for once I did have some personal space to dance and the crowd in general was not rude. My friends and I still had a pretty decent time and enjoyed each other’s company!
Kaskade is a great Dance DJ. Had a great time! It’s nice hearing lyrics again.
I always love every time i go to see KASKADE....but, this time I was kind of felt like the music was all over the place Everyone is entitle to an off-night I guess
Awesome night, haven’t danced that much in years. Worth every penny.
It was a great show from the openers to Kascades set! Have seen him numerous times and this was one of the best.
I've seen laskade 3 times this year so far and great venue for this act. Employees were fast and courteous.
It was okay. Little expensive. Didn’t seem that he was in the zone djing
First time doing a pool party at this venue! It definitely had all the feels of Vegas style party right here at home. Performance by Kaskade was energetic and electric!! We loved it!
