"Kaskade's signature sound is as unmistakable as it is beautiful; a combination of dewy female vocals, tough electronic underpinnings, and memorable melodies." -- Billboard
The New York Times may have called him the "new face of electronic dance music" in a recent profile, but Ryan Raddon, known as Kaskade, has been in the trenches of the EDM scene as an original recording artist and in-demand DJ for more than a decade. He has released seven studio albums, including his latest, Fire & Ice, scored nine Top 10 hits on Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay Chart, created chart-topping remixes for everyone from Lady Gaga to Beyoncé, appeared at all the major summer festivals, and has performed between 150 and 200 headlining shows a year for the last 10 years, building a name for himself as an innovator of the EDM scene as we know it today, which has opened doors for the likes of Deadmau5, Tiesto, Skrillex and more. In doing so, he has helped to lay the groundwork for a titanic musical and cultural shift: a post-rock EDM revolution that has captured the imagination of a new generation of music lovers across North America.
Kaskade has been named America's No. 1 DJ by DJ Times and Pioneer DJ. In 2012, he will appear at this year's Coachella and Electric Daisy Carnival festivals, for which he has special performances planned, and will hit the road in June for his biggest headlining tour ever — 70-plus North American shows in just over three months. His own live show is a jaw-dropping spectacle that finds him performing in front of an 80-foot wide, three-stories tall LED screen that blares images synched with the music while strobe lights scan the crowd. Kaskade's belief in the transformative power of dance music to uplift thousands of people at once has had a significant effect on the U.S. scene. His ground-breaking double residency in Las Vegas at the Encore Beach Club (which had not even been built when he signed on) and Marquee has elevated the city's status as a premiere club-going destination on par with London, Berlin, and Ibiza, is another testament to his influence.
Growing up in the Chicago suburbs, Raddon was heavily influenced by New Wave bands like The Cure, Echo and The Bunnymen, and The Smiths that ignited his love for melody and lyrics and was strongly impacted by the house music scene that developed in Chicago. Following stints spinning throughout college and in A&R at OM Records, he began working on his own music, which includes multiple singles, EPs, and remixes, as well as the albums: his most recent 2011 release Fire & Ice -- which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Chart, No. 3 on the Independent Albums chart, and No. 17 on the Top 200 Albums chart, while the iTunes version debuted at No. 4 on the overall album chart. The Fire disc contains ten original songs geared firmly toward the dancefloor, while on the Ice disc, Kaskade delivers the perfect down-tempo post-club experience by remixing all ten songs. Both discs showcase the musical versatility tat has characterized his work ever since he began writing his own songs. This album was preceded by It's You, It's Me (2003), In the Moment (2004), The Calm (2006), Here & Now (2006), Love Mysterious (2006), Strobelite Seduction (2008), Dynasty (2010) and Dance.Love (2010).

KASKADE WAS AMAZING! DEFINITELY A PERFORMER WORTH!
Kaskade played a fairly solid set that balanced his old stuff with the popular beatport top 40 tracks loved by those who have just recently joined the "EDM" scene. The crowd was young, but that's to be expected for a show on a college campus. The two stage setup was a little gimmicky and led to people trampling each other to get up front on the other side. Lights and sound were on par with the top tours of 2013 - I liked the moving screens in particular. Bringing out Skylar Grey and Bright Lights was a nice touch - they did well live (much better than when Heather bombed with Hardwell at EDC Vegas). As usual these days, Kaskade was a little optimistic with some of his mashups, but the crowd mostly ate it up. It was hot as balls - thank God for the fog they dropped from the ceiling.
kaskade just keeps getting better... favorite producer. the shrine provided the perfect place to completely enjoy the music instead of being annoyed with logistics.
Only one of 4 stops on this unforgettable tour. It was an experience. Plus Kaskade is a must see!
I came into Kaskade thinking it was going to be a chill night. However, his set dropped like crazy and my buzz was great.
I have no words to describe this event it was just amazing thanks to kaskade for make this the best show of my life!!! :')
I ve seen Kaskade about 10 times , He always bring it !!!!!
Kaskade is truly America's number one DJ. I can't wait to go to his next show.
I am having Kaskade withdrawals right now.. the show was electrifying, emotional, loud, amazing.. a night that none of us will EVER forget! The whole production just left me speechless! The only thing I sort of regret was that this was an all-ages show and we had many screaming teenage girls up in front with us....lol
This was my first time seeing Kaskade and he literally changed me I felt alive when I was dancing during his set and sang along to most of his songs. His bass drops were also amazing I want to see him again and I hope he comes back soon because I loooooved it! I would totally recommend this to a friend. Just let the music speak :)
Overall show was amazing. His set was one of the most memorable ones I will always remember.
This was the most perfect show I have been to in a while it changed me it was just perfect and just euphoric I loved it all night , can't wait til I see him again
The show was awesome. He loves what he does it shows in the music, his performance, his presence. I knew all the songs. You can't help singing along enjoying the beat, bass the sweet vocals. It was epic
On the night I went it was ALL AGES and I'm so greatful that Kaskade would make a night for families to come together and have a great time. The music was amazing. My family felt safe, and the KIDS LOVED IT! I highly recommend (Kids ages 8 and 9)
The energy and passion was absolutely unforgettable! Don't miss out!
This event was amazing the music was great the djs were pumped and they for sure keep the crowd entertained. Although there was one thing at this event I really wasn't so thrilled about and that was the two stages. When the stage switched it was crazy and people were pushing and running. If it was a bigger venue maybe the two stages would have been cool but it was so small in there I feel like I would have enjoyed it better if there was just one stage or! If the opening djs played on one stage and then when kaskade came out he was on the main stage. That way there would have been only one switch and wouldn't have been soo crazy.
When the lights went off and a dj dressed like kaskade came out everyone went running. He confused us. But the ticket prices were great. Anywhere you stood, you got a perfect view of kaskade. The music was epic. That night was truly unforgettable!!!!!!! It was Epic
Kaskade = Amazing that's all I can say, he always is.
This show was amazing. With the lights and the loud music. Everything was great.
Awesome set by Kaskade! Had me jumping up and down nonstop
