Kansas in Concert
With a legendary career spanning more than four decades, KANSAS has firmly established itself as one of America's iconic classic rock bands. This "garage band" from Topeka released their debut album in 1974 after being discovered by Wally Gold, who worked for Don Kirshner, and have gone on to sell more than 30 million albums worldwide.
Composing a catalogue that includes fifteen studio albums and five live albums, KANSAS has produced eight gold albums, three sextuple-Platinum albums (Leftoverture, Point of Know Return, Best of KANSAS), one platinum live album (Two for the Show), and two one million-selling gold singles, ‘Carry On Wayward Son' and ‘Dust in the Wind.' KANSAS appeared on the Billboard charts for over 200 weeks throughout the ‘70's and ‘80's and played to sold-out arenas and stadiums throughout North America, Europe and Japan. ‘Carry On Wayward Son' continues to be one of the top five most played songs on classic rock radio, and ‘Dust In the Wind' has been played on the radio more than three million times!
2016 marked the release of "The Prelude Implicit," KANSAS's fifteenth studio album. The wide-ranging progressive rock album was released on InsideOut Music, and marked the band's first studio album release in 16 years.
Throughout 2016-2017, the band celebrated both the release of "The Prelude Implicit" and the anniversary of breakout album "Leftoverture" with the highly successful KANSAS: Leftoverture 40th Anniversary Tour. That tour was released in 2017 as a live album, "Leftoverture Live & Beyond."
The band, which is currently comprised of keyboardist Tom Brislin, original drummer Phil Ehart, bassist/vocalist Billy Greer, vocalist/keyboardist Ronnie Platt, violinist/guitarist David Ragsdale, guitarist Zak Rizvi, and original guitarist Richard Williams. KANSAS continues to perform in front of large and enthusiastic audiences around the world.
Along with constant touring, KANSAS continues to remain a fixture of Classic Rock radio. The band has reached a whole new audience through their unmistakable presence on the popular video games Rock Band and Guitar Hero, and through their songs' inclusion in various television shows such as ‘Supernatural,' and ‘South Park,' and with films ‘Old School,' and ‘Anchorman.'

3rd time to see a great legend. They deliver! See them before its too late.
Just an amazing show. Talented musicians and bringing the house down. I had the best time. Thank you Kansas.
The concert began right on time and kicked off with virtuosity and talent on full display. Three songs in we heard "Point of No Return,"a precursor of the more well known songs to follow. The young men carrying on the legacy of this great band, plus the founding member on lead guitar, stayed true to the music and intensity of the original recordings. The acoustic set capped off with "Dust in the Wind"was played to perfection. We were treated to long solos on violin and guitar during many numbers which displayed fierce attention to detail and perfection. These are wonderful musicians who appear to love playing live and fed off the audience's enthusiasm. With only one song for an encore, I wish they had "Carried On"for perhaps one or two more. It was a great night of music and I thoroughly enjoyed the artistry and memories of the 70's. It all ended too soon and I feel a tinge of shame for going to bed by 10:30pm on a concert night. But, we kids of the 60's and 70's are all getting older.
Excellent concert, fun time and very entertaining too! Perfect venue to hold the event in, easy access and entry, No long lines to deal with.
I know it's not the normal situation, but Kansas was my first concert to go to in 1979. Then I took my daughter when she was about 6 years old to a Kansas concert at the Air Force Academy. Since Kansas wasn't coming to Colorado this time, my daughter and I took my 7 and 6 year old grandchildren on the train from La Junta, Colorado to Albuquerque to attend. The music was great and my granddaughter loved it. My grandson was a little distracted being his first concert, but on the way back on the train I did notice that he was acting like he was playing the piano on the window, so I think he enjoyed it also.
I have seen Kansas a few times but this was the BEST EVER !!! Great concert, the played 2 hours and 10 minutes of hits and deep tracks. Hope they will tour again soon with the same show.
While the members have changed over the past 50 years, Kansas still can grab the audience attention and present an excellent show. While there were many older fans with white hair at the concert, I saw lots of young people who appreciate the musicianship of this group and their original compositions. A great show and didn't disappoint.
I enjoyed every minute of the concert, especially the VIP package, where I met the guys. I only spent about a minute or two taking pictures. A quick thumbs up and telling the guys to kick ass and rock on was pretty cool. I thoroughly enjoyed the concert and would like to see them again.
Kansas delivered the concert that I have been waiting for from the delayed date 5 months ago. The wait was worth it! From doing their longest song to all the hits we have come to enjoy for the 50 years they have been around! The music was crisp and the playing of the instruments was outstanding. Their acoustical songs were second to none! It was one hell of a concert!! I was glad that Kansas was the start of my 2024 classical concert for the season.
They put on an incredible show that lasted over two hours, I highly recommend that you go and see them!
I saw them about 25 years ago in So.Cal and they didn’t let me down. Great bunch of musicians. Go KANSAS !!!!!!!!
This was an awesome concert they did not disappoint.
So great!!!! Will go back to see them in a heartbeat!
Waited 50 years to see Kansas and couldn't imagine it would be anywhere near this good. 2 hours 15 minutes and just seconds between songs, no breaks and high energy. It was plain wonderful. I could go to one of their shows every weekend.
I thought it was a pretty good show. I realize the band is in kind of a transition right now, but I’d really like to hear some more songs off the point of know return album like Paradox and Portrait (He Knew)
The concert was amazing. They sounded incredible and played a great set.!
The theater was very cool. Gave a very intimate and close feeling. The band rocked and kept the crowd engaged for over 2 hours. Very enjoyable evening.
Kansas sounded great but we bought tickets in the lower left section of a small Theatre. When we arrived two big speaker boxes were on front of us on the corner of the stage. I would think that the theater and ticketmaster would not have sold these tickets. It put a damper on the otherwise great evening
Great Show. One of the best I have seen couldn’t believe the music. Sounded like they did in the 70’s. Well worth the money and the drive. The Missouri Theater in St Jo is fabulous.
