    Most amazingly touching concert.

by Heatheropen on 7/1/15Duck Room at Blueberry Hill - St Louis

I have never been to a concert before that made me cry! Justin has such passion and feeling when he sings that I actually had tears in my eyes. His story is so amazing and when he sings he makes you feel the emotions! This was my very favorite concert ever! My husband and even got a hug from Justin after the show!

    5 PLUS stars!!

by MsJaggie on 6/30/15Duck Room at Blueberry Hill - St Louis

All that I can say is that this performance was absolutely phenomenal! I've been a fan of Blue October for years but watching and listening to Justin tell his stories and play with just an acoustic guitar, and in a small venue, was amazing!

    Furstenfeld is a must see!

by Justamp on 6/30/15Duck Room at Blueberry Hill - St Louis

I must admit, we went because my husband was a big fan. I was in awe the entire time and completely blown away. The Storytellers style acoustic show was a unique show that I will never forget. Fan for life!

A must see for all Blue October fans

by MommiesNotRightStL on 6/30/15Duck Room at Blueberry Hill - St Louis

I have been a HUGE Blue October fan since 2006 and their live performances get better with each tour. Justin's Open Book Tour is no exception. His voice is so much stronger and he seems more comfortable on stage and with fan interactions. The venues for this tour are smaller & much more intimate. Since this was the last date for this Open Book Tour he did mention he will be doing a similar tour later down the road. If you have the opportunity to see this show, it is well worth it.

AMAZING! Justin Furstenfeld is like no other ;)

by triplehluvmomma on 6/26/1520th Century Theater - Cincinnati

This was awesome. It was a small little area that made you feel like you were in a room with Justin having drinks. He explained some background to his songs and life and there was audience interaction and he did a signing afterwards and was able to talk to each and every person there. He truly is humble and a great many rock stars and/or bands could learn from him! Lets get him on the radio to take over the USA guys!

by nowfan on 6/26/1520th Century Theater - Cincinnati

Was my first time seeing Justin Furstenfeld, And it was a great show. He just takes you on the journey from him being in a high school band through the peaks and valleys of his career in stories and songs. Now will have to go see him with Blue October for a show !!!

An Amazing Night With Justin Furstenfeld.

by MelissaIsMissy on 6/24/15The Sinclair - Cambridge

The night was great, such an intimate show, personal stories that just make you feel even closer to one of your favorite artists, the acoustic songs were an added plus. I absolutely loved everything about Justin Furstenfeld's An Open Book Tour, and to top off an amazing night there was a nice little signing at the merch booth by Justin Furstenfeld and Ashley Stone after the show. Having my favorite artist tell me that my hair color is bad ass has assured that I keep this color for awhile. Lol. I'm so glad to have captured some videos and photos so I can always remember this night, it's definitely the best night of my 2015 summer.

Justin Furstenfeld - a personal experience

by Pennylgm on 6/21/15The Sinclair - Cambridge

During the Open Book performance, the audience gets up close and personal with Justin. He gives you an insider's view of his career and the inspiration behind his music. He is funny, real and honest. What an amazing show!

This is Justin Furstenfeld at his best!!

    by Bubo8698 on 6/21/15The Sinclair - Cambridge

I have seen Blue October at least 6 times & I don't recall a show where Justin was this in tune with the entire experience of his show. He was honest, funny, intimate, raw, brilliant. I laughed. I cried. I sang. Most importantly, I walked away with a sense of friendship with Justin. He let us in on some of the darkest parts of his past. You truly get to know Justin in the 2 hours he's on stage. He does a wonderful job of taking you on a journey of the bands beginnings to where he & they are at present day. I have never encountered an artist with as much love for their fan base as Justin. I would see him in this format over & over again...simply amazing.

Justin Furstenfeld was on point! The passion in his voice and lyrics will put dents in you its so moving. It was a very heartfelt show with lots of laughs and a huge glimps into the reasons behind his lyrics. I'd go over and over again.

Kind of like watching a one man Broadway show

by Anonymous on 6/18/15Cone Denim Entertainment Center - GREENSBORO

I definitely came for the music. When I heard it would be an hour of music with an hour of talking, I did the large eye roll then looked at my husband said 'why!'. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. Justin's story was very interesting and he is a great story teller. It was like watching a really good musical on Broadway, but with just one guy and a guitar. The small venue experience is always my favorite. Great show! Definitely go if you are a fan of Blue October.

    The Open Book Tour- breathtaking!!!

by PhoenixRising36 on 6/15/15State Theatre - St Petersburg

This man, he takes my breath away!! He sings with not just his voice but his heart and entire being! I have been to several Blue October concerts but this was my first Open Book. It's just Justin, a mic and his guitar. Completely raw and vulnerable. You hear songs you've probably heard in the past. You hear them in a new light full of powerful emotion. You won't come away with the same "workout" like you would with a Blue October concert but you're sure to leave with an emotional drain and a calm that stays with you for days!!

    Powerful

by FrostyKnockers on 6/15/15State Theatre - St Petersburg

I have been to hundreds of concerts and have seen at least 1,000 bands live. I have never seen a more engaging and powerful performance. To be walked through a troubled life in the matter of 2 hours was amazing. There is nobody in the music industry that can make you feel his pain quite like Justin. This is also the only show in which I knew there was no encore. The end was so powerful and emotional, I was ready to go home and reflect. Truly unforgettable.
