  • Absolutely amazing

by Hanrof on 4/21/25Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

I’m still in awe. His voice is nothing short of breathtaking raw, powerful, and beautiful. I could have listened to him for hours and still not have had enough. What truly set this concert apart was the way Justin shared his personal stories with such honesty and vulnerability. It made the night feel so intimate and real. He connected with the audience in a way I’ve never experienced before so genuine, heartfelt, and deeply human. And as if the night couldn’t get any better, my sister and I were lucky enough to receive a hug from him. It’s a moment I’ll never forget, and such a special memory to share with her. Justin Furstenfeld isn’t just a phenomenal musician he’s an incredibly impressive human being. I walked away moved, and full of gratitude.

We saw Justin's last Open Book Tour in NYC in Nov. 2024, but this one blew the last one out of the water. The songs were amazing. The stories he told made us laugh and made us sob. It was one of the best shows I've ever seen! Can't wait to see him again in a few weeks in Chattanooga!

Bring tissues! Justin had me laughing hysterically and crying like a baby! It is raw! It is honest! It is his sober journey and I between some amazing acoustic songs, that all helped me through my sober journey! I have never been to a show like this before but I am so glad I went to this intimate show.

  • Justin was Awesome

by MacWallace on 4/9/25Attucks Theatre - NorfolkRating: 5 out of 5

Justin’s One Man Show was nothing short of incredible. From the moment he stepped on stage, he drew the audience in with his raw storytelling, sharing powerful and heartfelt moments from his life that made the experience feel deeply personal and intimate. Between stories, he performed songs from his albums that not only showcased his musical talent but also beautifully tied into the journey he was taking us on. The entire evening was both entertaining and emotionally moving—a perfect blend of laughter, reflection, and music. It was a show that left everyone feeling connected, inspired, and truly grateful to have been part of something so genuine and enjoyable.

Justin Furstenfeld is such an awesome story teller, singer, performer...so great! During this show, it felt as if he knew each one of us in the audience. Laughing, crying, singing out loud. Truly a heartfelt experience. Love that guy!

  • Needs improvement

by Wendy on 4/7/25Piedmont Hall - GreensboroRating: 3 out of 5

I always enjoy the music , there was not enough of that. I also think the no videos and no speaking/ singing made the night not as enjoyable. I don’t think I’d go to an open book show again . The energy was low . I did appreciate learning about some of the background to the music though.

  • Awesome Chance to Peak behind the curtain.

by Dannyb on 4/7/25Piedmont Hall - GreensboroRating: 5 out of 5

This was one of the best show experiences that I have been to. It is awesome to get to hear your favorite songs, while also getting the story behind the lyrics. Justin delivered a truly raw and genuine story the whole evening. If you are a fan of his, this is a cannot miss experience.

  • Better than Therapy!

by Dawnequa on 4/7/25Piedmont Hall - GreensboroRating: 5 out of 5

This was my second soundcheck experience with Justin Furstenfeld and my first opportunity to visit Piedmont Hall. The venue far exceeded my expectations and Justin was epic! It was a beautiful experience. His concerts are always transformative and the energy is phenomenal. He takes you to places you didn’t even know were on the map. The fact that he shared so much of himself, not only allows his audience to know him better, but to know themselves and other people better, too!

  • Justin seemed to be in his element

    by J.R. on 4/7/25Piedmont Hall - GreensboroRating: 5 out of 5

He sings, he dances, he tells deep personal stories, he makes you laugh, he makes you cry, he even heckles hecklers. Not much the man can't do. Our first "Open Book"type experience and worth the money.

  • Raw

by Stephanie on 4/6/25Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Loved every minute. Justin was raw and open. I laughed and cried and felt. A must see for anyone who has gone through depression or recovery or has family or close friends who are addicts.

Anyone who knows Blue October knows just how talented Justin is. This intimate show where he talked and sang to us was unique and very enjoyable. I even got to meet him at the end. Please bring him back again and again.
