The show itself was great! I laughed almost the whole time! The crowd was not the best - lots of people up and down throughout the WHOLE show - and the comedians all handled it well. Of the 5 comedians, there was only one that I did not enjoy. I would definitely go to this show again. In fact, I'm going to be on the lookout for it next year so I can hopefully make more shows!
George Lopez did the amazing job with his jokes/act. Russell Peters needs to come up with new jokes 80% of his jokes were old...I would highly recommend this event to anyone because of George Lopez. Hats of to you!!!!!!!!!
All the comedians has their charm( there were 3 of em) I didn't like however that Lopez basically opened for Russell so Russell was on stage much longer which one would think most people there wanna see George Lopez more.
2 of the special guests were Richard Lewis and Stephen Wright. Need I say more? Legends!!! I would have paid to see any of these guys on their own but I got them all in one show. They all killed. I had an amazing time.
We bought 8 tickets and it is safe to say that all 8 people were suprisingly shocked. We were all so excited to see George Lopez and were left feeling a bit jipped! The show started late and George Lopez seemed very bitter, and we were not impressed. We had never heard of Russell Peters, but were all definitely glad that he was part of the show! He was HILARIOUS! He really turned the night around for us all! He definitely made fans out of us!!!
Was an amazing show, and the special guests were a fantastic surprise. I'd never seen Louis CK live before, and now I won't miss him!
I went to this comdey show to see Russell Peters & was disapointed his act was not funny at all. I was waiting for him to make me laugh any moment & it really never happened. Thank god George Lopez's act was before Russell Peters because he was making me laugh the whole time.
Hilarious show. The guest comics were a little odd but funny nonetheless. Louis stole the show!! His delivery is one of a kind; his topics are current and cutting edge; and his humbleness is refreshing! I'd see him perform again in a heartbeat.
The beginning act comic, was TERRIBLE!!! George Lopez funny as hell, but his act ended to quickly. Russell Peters Hilarious!!!
Louis CK was absolutely hilarious! The 3 special guests were a pleasant surprise. They were great choices for the opening comedians! I would definitely go see Louis CK again!

I may have had unrealistic expectations after seeing Louis CK on the HBO special with Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock and Ricky Gervais, but this was awful. I am usually easily amused but I think I laughed twice the whole show. Was so disappointed I considered asking for my money back! Still mad that I PAID to see that hot mess!
I laughed so hard I was crying. My favorite, besides Joel Mchale, was definitely Deon Cole. He was hilarious. I am so glad that I went.

I love going to comedy shows so for that reason, I gave it three stars. I also had a GREAT balcony seat, which had nothing to do with the comedians. But I wasn't impressed other than when Steven Wright got up there. I've listened to him on the radio, but he's way funnier live because of his laid back attitude. I really couldn't believe that Richard Lewis just rambled on and on and did not prepare ANY material. People pay a lot of money between drinks and tickets, so he should of had a little more respect for the audience and prepared SOMETHING or just ANYTHING would of worked. Louis was OK, nothing to rave about
Louis CK with Steven Wright, Richard Lewis, and Jake Johannsen at the Chicago Theatre. Just amazing amazing event, Louis did so much of his own act in between all of these amazing performances and even did a sign off!
Bought the tickets last minute. Absolutely hilarious! CK didn't even need three guests, but it was fun mixing it up.
Russell Peters and George Lopez were hilarious. If they are ever back in town I'll be back to see them
I have seen him live before, and he is absolutely hilarious, did not dissapoint again. was ABSOLUTELY thrilled to find out richard lewis and steven wright were among his 3 very special guests. Great show, great night in chicago.
If you like Louis CK, then you got exactly what you wanted; about 80 minutes of all new material and some great back-story about how his special guests helped his career. As to the special guests, I had no idea who or what to expect. But I certainly did not expect comics of the stature of Jake Johannsen, Richard Lewis and Steven Wright. Every one of these guys brought something special to the evening. I laughed so hard that I was sore the next day. What a fantastic evening!
