  • Overall nice experience but unorganized

by Jasmine on 2/23/22Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum - UniondaleRating: 2 out of 5

We booked the tickets for a specific time slot yet, there was definitely overcrowding especially per cdc guidelines and appropriate social distancing. Everyone within the facility for a specific time slot should be able to enjoy all that’s available and it was impossible to enjoy all the attractions. It was clear that many people were still inside the facility well after their chosen time slot. The line for one of the quests was too long so we skipped the photo op and ultimately gave up on finishing the quest since it wasn’t worth the long wait times while being overcrowded. The lines for the rides were insanely long, I asked a few parents how long they’d been waiting and they all said over 30 minutes and the line had barely moved. When we checked in it seemed as though it didn’t matter at what time we arrived, there was no clear indication that people prior to our time slot had already finished prior to us being able to enter with the rest of our 2pm group. It was very chaotic and I wish it was a lot more organized, not worth the money since we couldn’t enjoy all the activities. Please do better!

  • Disaster

Extremely disorganized and chaotic. Lines could be monitored so there’s some order. They could do a better job as entertainment for the kids with the dinosaur exhibits. No staff was seen pretty much anywhere. More interaction with the kids would be nice. Half the dinosaurs were damaged or not working. Will never return

  • awful

by joanne on 2/23/22Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum - UniondaleRating: 1 out of 5

I was led to believe that the exhibit and rides were for all children of all ages. Needless to say, having 8 year old twins and an 11 year old, and paying extra so they can go on the rides, when we saw the little seat on top of the dinosaur , after spending $18 on pretzels, only to get a half-not even w whole pretzel, we walked right out. Very disappointed -$200 later and $25 for parking, we were there no more than a half an hour. I actually have requested a refund.

  • Amazing

The actual dinosaur exhibit was the best I’ve ever seen. My daughter who is 3 was a lil scared at first but then couldn’t get enough. The activities were cool also. The thing that kept it from being 5 stars was the length of the lines. They were far too long for children, especially given how short each activity was. Other than that it was a fantastic day for both me and my daughter!!!!

  • Long lines but kids had fun

by Janice on 2/23/22Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum - UniondaleRating: 3 out of 5

Expect to wait on 30-60 minutes lines to do anything. Lots of activities for kids, riding dinosaurs, fossil dig, bouncy houses. Kids loved it! Parents not so much, too many people for the activities available. We finally gave up and went home instead of waiting on any more line.

  • Hard to Enjoy

by TA on 2/23/22Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum - UniondaleRating: 2 out of 5

Price shouldn’t matter when it comes to your children’s enjoyment but this event was way overpriced especially for the unlimited rides tickets. The event was not well organized at all. We waited in line for over an hour for my son to sit on one of the moving dinosaurs. Part of the reason the wait was so long was because people kept cutting the line and there was no one there monitoring the lines. That was the only “ride” that my son went on because by that point everyone was exhausted from waiting in the first line and the other activities had very long lines. I would not recommend this event.

  • My Daughter Loved it

by Pizzie73 on 2/23/22Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum - UniondaleRating: 4 out of 5

My Daughter loves dinosaurs. This was a great event and done well. My only issue was I wish there was more to do! After an hour we were all done. I also purchased the unlimited rides which was nice but found out that it did not include the picture. That seemed like a cash grab. All in all it was nice and my daughter was happy.

  • Chaos

by Mel on 2/23/22Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum - UniondaleRating: 2 out of 5

Too expensive. Complete chaos. You literally walk into a swarm of people trying to see the same thing as you. Not many dinosaurs. Having a time a lot made no difference, thankful Covid has calmed down. Looks like a super spreader.

  • Disappointment

Expensive, long lines and very little time for the children in the activities.

  • I reserved a time stop for 10:30am

by Melissa mejias on 2/23/22Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum - UniondaleRating: 1 out of 5

The palace was over crowded. The lines where very long. My 3 year old did not enjoy at all. A waste of $90.00 on tickets. Do not recommend.

I took my granddaughter to this event and she had an absolute blast ! The dinosaurs look great and some were near enough to the barriers that the kids could touch them and they loved it. I would definitely attend this event again if it comes around next year.

  • Not as expected

by Mommyof2 on 2/23/22Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum - UniondaleRating: 3 out of 5

The Dino exhibit itself where the Dinos were was a very short experience and crowded, it was difficult to see unless you stood single file behind everyone and just followed along the fence line of the Dinos. The lines for the rides were ridiculous but everything seemed well put together. The Meet & greet of walking Dinos show was about 30 mins long and lasted about 20 minutes, and was offered every hour. It should have been offered every 30 minutes.

  • Disappointing

by JF on 2/23/22Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum - UniondaleRating: 2 out of 5

Not sure what I expected, but it was not that. When we first entered the space, I was somewhat excited. The lighting and the display was amazing. It appeared as if they really transformed the space. Then we got to the other side where the interactive game and rides were. It looked like a cheesy dinosaur themed carnival. There were three rides, thought we would be able to try them all, we stood in line for an hour just to get on one. There was a show, but we didn’t see it thanks to our time on line (the show happened twice while we were waiting on line). After the ride we were ready to go. However on our way out, we noticed that there was more to see. There was an ocean component. I thought it would be better. Nope. This time we entered the ocean themed part of the cheesy carnival. This has been my first and last time checking out JurassicQuest.

  • Amazing Experience

by Tesha on 2/23/22Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum - UniondaleRating: 5 out of 5

Jurassic Quest was amazing. The realness of the dinosaurs was absolutely beautiful. The educational part of the event was amazing as well. My grandson was so excited and so was I,lol. If it comes back to Long Island. I would attend again. I told my friend. She was able to take her boys on Monday the last day. Really enjoyed the event. 🥰🥰🤗🤗🤗

  • Under welling

by Grammy on 2/23/22Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum - UniondaleRating: 1 out of 5

They make it out to be this really big fancy show tickets seat numbers but it’s a basically walk around which I was disappointed and the lines were outrageous for the kids to ride

  • back in time

by grammy on 2/23/22Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum - UniondaleRating: 2 out of 5

wasn’t enjoyed for a 6yr. Event more for older kids. The unlimited bracelet wasn’t worth the money. We only did one ride. The wait time for the rides was ridiculous for a kid to wait. very disappointed.

  • Jurassic experience worst ever

by Frank on 2/22/22Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum - UniondaleRating: 1 out of 5

Awful. Boring. Waste of money. Just walk around standing in long lines. Two small Bounce houses and two small areas of sand. Worst time ever !!

  • All Things Dino

by MSW on 2/22/22Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum - UniondaleRating: 5 out of 5

All my life I have been fascinated by dinosaurs. What they looked like, how they acted, what they ate, and the specifics of their environments. Jurassic Quest was a wonderful exhibit of all things Dino. I realize that the actual skin colors of dinosaurs might be different than what the displays showed, but I loved the models anyway. We were 3 adults at the exhibit, and probably the only adults there without accompanying children. Some parts of the exhibit were specifically designed for the children, such as the rides, but there was enough for adults to learn something too. The placards with the models would have been educational, should any of the adults taken the time to read them to the younger children. Unfortunately, I didn't see that happening. Some of the parents were not good at restraining the children from pulling at the models and possibly damaging them. Despite that worry on my part, the exhibit was entirely enjoyable for us.

  • Total enjoyment

by John on 2/22/22Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum - UniondaleRating: 5 out of 5

I was impressed that there were so many kids there with families.. and even I learned a thing or 2. If I may I found the lines to the rides just a bit too long but that would be the only non positive comment I’d make.
