  • Too expensive to see 8 dinosaurs

by Manny on 3/9/22Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 1 out of 5

Video shows a lot stuff when in reality they only have like 8 big dinosaurs and som small ones never coming back to this event

  • Overpriced and horrible

by Nursemom on 3/9/22Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 1 out of 5

My son loves dinosaurs. Unfortunately, this quest was NOT up to the hype proclaim on tv nor website. Over priced, long lines due to limited rides. Empty spaces in the majority of Arena. I was so disappointed it worth the cost of tickets, bracelet for unlimited rides (they only had a total of 5 rides) and souvenirs were cheaply made and expensive. If you’re debating on going, just learn from my mistake and take kids elsewhere.

  • Disappointed

by HH on 3/9/22Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 1 out of 5

We were very excited about this experience and initially walking into the venue you feel like it’s going to be really awesome…the you turn the corner and it’s a lot of empty space and the extra activities for the kids are not at all as pictured in the marketing videos. Also, one of the attractions was closed the entire time and it happened to be the one the kids were the most interested in (riding dinosaurs). My husband and I both agreed that it was pretty lame and not worth the money. Also, there was very obvious wear and tear on many of the dinosaur attractions (peeling skin, missing teeth, etc.). Knowing what I know now I would not have spent money to do this.

  • So lame

by Danielle on 3/9/22Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 1 out of 5

For the price of entry, I expected more. The dinosaurs looked pretty terrible. The limited movements needed some serious WD-40. The “rides” were a total joke. Our 7yo told us she didn’t want to wait in line because they looked “boring”. The 2 bounce houses were fine.

  • Too short

    by MMR0413 on 3/9/22Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 3 out of 5

My kid absolutely loved it, but for the money, there wasnt near enough things to justify going to it again

  • Great Fun

by Silverbast on 3/8/22Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

Came with all the family. It was great fun. Enjoyed every minute. Loved the models.

  • It was good but definitely could of been better

by Trex on 3/8/22Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 3 out of 5

It was fun and interesting but definitely dont know if it was worth the $30+ a kid for the rides. Wasnt much there to do for the money.

  • Jurassic Adventure

by Trudy on 3/8/22Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

My son & I took my 5 year old & 9 year old grandsons to this event last Saturday. The boys had a great time. The venue was perfect as there was plenty of space for all the large exhibits. The staging and identification of the dinosaurs 🦕 was very easy to navigate & learn about them. The boys also enjoyed the various bounce houses & activities, as well as getting to ride on the mechanical dinosaurs 🦖 it was a wonderful experience and well worth the price of admission.

  • A ripoff

    by E on 3/8/22Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 1 out of 5

Definitely not worth the price. $25 a head, kids and adults, for a worn-down and falling apart dinosaur animatronics "quest" that would be lucky to fill out a high school gym. Everything besides the sad dinos cost extra, but looked just as worn down. 1 star because at least the kids didn't notice what a pathetic experience it was.

  • S/B 0 stars. Not worth the $$

    by H on 3/8/22Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 1 out of 5

The venue may have had something to do with it, but this was not worth the $160 for a family of 4. The bounce houses ("rides") were a death trap and the displays were just OK. This would have been better outside for sure. Being in a livestock facility, it smelled. Having the dino rides set-up next to the animal showers didn't help the cause. We STRETCHED our time to stay 1.5 hours.

  • Disappointed

by Bri on 3/8/22Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 1 out of 5

Was very disappointed in the amount of actual dinosaurs to look at, there was just a small display at the entrance. I definitely do not feel like it was worth the price.

  • Fun for 4 year great-grandson

by Had potential; Poorly run event on 3/8/22Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 3 out of 5

this event was really fun & exciting for 4yr. old great-grandson. I was not very impressed, especially for the cost. The dinosaurs were incredible, however, not life-like as I expected. Not as advertised (not worth the money for adults to walk through. There was no one there to interact w/you. You were on your own. It took maybe 15 min.tour dinosaurs for $25 each. The event space was extremely dirty and smelt like life stock. The activities for the kids were amazing, yet bounce houses were so filthy that the mats were black. didn't happen in one day. the kids had their shoes off too, so no excuse. Kids were coming out crying from bounce houses. One of the guys was really trying to control things where at another bounce house the guy was sitting there for entire time as we walked back and forth between bounce houses on his phone. never saw his head go up. Some of the attractions had no one to supervise. The craft areas those that worked there just sat at the front table cutting out paper plates and not noticing that 2 of the tables had adults only just resting there leaving no room for the kids.(one table totally occupied by older worker) I could hardly blame them because there were way more adults than kids than kids and not one place for adults to sit down. With long lines and floors so filthy to sit on plus did not see anywhere to sit if you got something to eat other than on the floor. It was disgusting. The meal area was not that great either. It was dirty as well. My granddaughter is pregnant so got a pretzel and we got drinks. would not have eaten anything else there. I will say the timing of people was great, however, they did not limit how many could get into the rapture nor was there anyone to control crowd of people that pushed in front of us so we didn't stay to watch. We probably could have gotten in for free. there was one lady checking people in and she had to look at tickets, get wrist bands etc. We ended up picking up our own wrist band. It was worth it I guess because my grandson enjoyed it. The rest of us were miserable because were there 2 and half hours due to long lines on rides. There should have been chairs out to sit in. They wiped down seats of rides which was a joke to see how dirty bounce house and place in general. Certain a health hazard esp. for someone like me who has extreme mold allergies. I was sick for 2 days afterwards. And again, feel like most of money was made through adults who saw dinosaurs w/arms broken off, tears in dinosaurs. Dinosaur ride toys broken and to the side. It was a bust for me. I will say that I had a problem and accidentally purchased tickets for Fri. w/a back pack and then purchased tickets for Sat. and it was a hassle but see the money for fri. was refunded. I was pleasantly surprised. I did wonder where these back packs were because I was going to buy one when entered on Sat., I did not see at table where to purchase one and figured the one lady would need to go find them. so purchased another souvenir.

  • Worse than a Carnie

by john c. on 3/8/22Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 1 out of 5

Don't waste your money... very over priced for the value! you'll be through the thing in an hour.. no joke.... Jurassic quest it's a joke... the Dinosaurs they have are worn beyond belief... they have chunks missing, holes and missing teeth. I'm sure if you ask they'll say "battle scarred" it should be no more than $15 for a family of 4, yet it was $160... what a rip off!! save your money..

  • The most real experience

by Eileen on 3/8/22Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

It was amazing experience with the Dinosaurs. They look so real, my family and I enjoyed the shows and the kids were so excited. Thank you for create this incredible show.

  • Family fun

    by Gmax5 on 3/8/22Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was very spacious and the lines on the rides moved quickly. The bounce houses were a big hit with the grandkids. They liked digging for fossils, and seeing all the big dinosaurs.

  • Its ok

by Alibaba on 3/7/22Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 3 out of 5

Fun. they had just a few dinos not to amazing many some had visible wear, tare damaged missing teeth. wish they had more activities to make it worth spending so much on toddlers who cant enjoy the jumpers because of rough play and they had no supervision. They do have a smaller kid section which my baby enjoyed a little. The explorer bag was very cool had some nice things in it, toys mask activities, the dino show was nice too. Just wished for better quality and a longer exhibition of dinosaurs.

  • Eh

by Jta on 3/7/22Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 3 out of 5

Pretty pricey for what it was. $25 for each adult, one year old was free, & for our two year old we bought the $39 ticket because of the added “fun”. Which was a total waste of $39. The description was very misleading. Especially for a 2 year old. That “extra” cost ticket should 100% be for a 5 year old and above, at least. An age where they can “ride” the Dino’s and not get trampled in the (gross) bounce houses. Survivors were stupid expensive too. $30 for a SMALL stuffed Dino. I think the “cheapest” thing we saw was some type of weird hatching Dino egg, at $15 I believe. Overall it was cool. Expensive day, but cool!

  • Good for kids, but overpriced

by Pat on 3/7/22Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 3 out of 5

The kids really liked it, but there isn't enough to do/see to justify the price. There are some extra things you can add on, but that costs even more. Do it once and skip the toy stand.

  • Great but don’t feel pressure to add quest pack

by Vic on 3/7/22Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 4 out of 5

Kids had so much fun, which is all that matters. But, don’t buy the quest pack. I personally don’t think it was worth the extra on top of the souvenirs. The souvenirs are so over priced it’s crazy, but I’m thinking in the giant box we got handed at the very beginning to carry around with us would include some of the cool stuff we saw other kiddos running around with. Turns out, nope. I would say get unlimited rides (if your kids like bounce houses because that’s the only thing you’ll have time to do more than once) and skip the extra gift because you’ll end up spending $$$ at the gift shop.

  • Great family fun

by Bland on 3/7/22Hale Arena - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

My kids love dinosaurs and this was definitely up their alley. Made some great memories and can’t wait until next year!
