Journey is a multi-platinum-selling rock band from San Francisco, California. Originally formed by former members of Santana, the Steve Miller Band and Frumious Bandersnatch, the band’s current lineup includes guitarist and backing vocalist Neal Schon, lead vocalist Arnel Pineda, keyboardist and guitarist Jonathan Cain, keyboardist Jason Derlatka, bassist Todd Jensen and drummer Deen Castronovo. After releasing a few albums — including their self-titled 1975 debut — throughout the early ‘70s, Journey reached a new height of commercial success on the charts with Infinity (1978), Evolution (1979) and Departure (1980), all of which were certified multi-platinum in the U.S. The band earned their first chart-topping album in 1981 with Escape, which also yielded massive hits like “Don’t Stop Believing” and “Open Arms.” Over the decades, Journey has continued to release studio albums and tour the world as one of the best-selling rock acts in music history, with their most recent album, Freedom, released in 2022.

The Journey/ Toto concert was great. The bands were very high energy. The addition of the parlor club was wonderful.
Journey has always been one of my favorite bands! I listened to them growing up and I have listened to them as my daughter was growing up. I was excited when I purchased tickets for us and then was told Steve Perry was no longer the singer. Saddened by this but determined for our girls trip to be a success anyway we got to our seats and waited to see how it goes. Arnel Pineda was *.*.*AMAGING.*.*.* We are new (and old) fans! The show was great!! Loved the energy! We are still talking about the fun we had. Thank you so very much ♥️
Toto came on first. Great concert from them. Great Sound. Great Songs. Journey, not to much. Whomever ran their mixer board, must have been asleep. Very garbled. Unable to hear the lead singer at times. Maybe the set-up change was the problem, but Journey was not that pleasurable. Knew the song, so we know what he was supposed to be singing, but we actually could not hear it. Concert was mostly just a 2 man band. Guiter player and the lead singer. A little bit from the keyboardist, but not much. He looked like he was agraveated most of the time, too. Was not really worth the 7 month wait from the time we got the tickets to the time of the concert.
We were second row! Never seen Journey in concert before! It was fantastic. I love how we had padded seats also. Have been in many VIP section areas with hard seats! Thanks for one of the best experiences we’ve had in a long time !!!
Not enough of Journey's hits. Way too much guitar playing.
What a thrill !!!! Journey was outstanding! A moving experience. Toto was a total go to get things started. ARE THEY COMING BACK??????
The original band members and the new accompanying instrumental band members put on a great show! The lead singer was awful!!! He seemed to pay less attention to his vocal performance and more to his stage performance. The vocal’s could have been done better a drunk karaoke singer! They have to be able to find someone better than him. I would not pay to see Journey again but I would to see TOTO! They put on a great show and it was enjoyed by the whole crowd. Walking out of the concert we heard repeatedly that Journey’s vocalist was a joke. I’ve been a fan for 45 years and I’ve come to the realization that Steve Perry will never sing with the band again but they have to have a better lead singer!
Great time! Toto played for an hour. Journey started right on time and played for 2 hours. Got our moneys worth. Would see Journey again.
TOTO sounded fantastic and I wish whoever was in charge of their sound board and mixing had done Journey's sound as well because their sound was poorly balanced which caused the guitar and drums to drown out the vocals throughout almost the entire show.
Excellent show. Both bands did a wonderful job bringing back teenage memories.
Journey put on a GREAT show! Continuous music without the "fluff"that other shows add. Great showmanship. Fantastic playing.
I thought both Journey and Toto were amazing and would go to the show again if the opportunity came up. Lights were amazing.
Toto was amazing, as always. I've seen them three or four times and the musicianship is always top notch. Journey? Well, it looked like six people on stage doing what they needed to do to get paid. There was so much reverb add to the show it was bad. Individually, they were all good. Deen Castronovo was amazing. When he sang, everyone around me was totally surprised. Cain and Schon looked like they were pissed at each other, as they are.
This concert was amazing from start to finish!! Sounded amazing. Kept the crowd energized and even threw out free tshirts.
I have listened to Journey for years. They are so cool. Loved the concert and got to take my daughter with me. Great show.
journey and toto vip tickets well worth every penny!! toto was great for an opener and then journey played straight for exactly 2 hours fantastic
Venue was super nice to people that worked there, and concerts were great and everyone in audience had good time no fights or no one drank to much. Just a great experience and lead singer for Journey did amazing job. Loved everything.
Journey was great! The sound and show was awesome and I would go see them again and again!
Toto was good but Journey was one of the biggest disappointments in my life. Steve Perry is Journey, they are nothing without him. They shouldn’t even be able to sell tickets under that name! He is the voice of Journey!! It was like a bad Vegas Show!!! Wish I had my money back!!!
My daughter and I drove nearly four hours to see Journey AND TOTO in Charleston, WV. It was worth every mile and $. What incredible musicians! We didn't want it to end.
