Jonathan McReynolds on Tour
After his latest album Make Room debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Gospel chart, racked up 1.3 million streams in its first week of release and received a Grammy nod for the Best Gospel Album of 2018, there was only one thing for Jonathan McReynolds to do: take his show on the road. But the Make More Room tour is about more than the powerful, uplifting, R&B-flavored worship music that's earned McReynolds legions of devoted fans and admirers, including luminaries like India.Irie, Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber. It's a chance for McReynolds to bring his ministry across the United States. Even with his heaps of musical accolades — along with the Grammy nod, he's also scored two Billboard No. 1 albums and one Billboard No. 1 song — McReynolds is dedicated to spreading the word of Christ far and wide via every possible channel. On YouTube, his Bible-teaching videos regularly rack up tens of thousands of views, and he published his first book, titled Make Room: Finding Where Faith Fits, in November of 2018, a volume filled with personal observations, spiritual lessons and scripture-based advice gleaned from a lifetime in the church. Whether by the written word, recorded music or his personal preference, live and in-person, McReynolds lives to spread the teachings of Christ to audiences thirsty for divine intervention.
McReynolds was basically born into the church. He grew up the son of a single mother on the South Side of Chicago, and began playing drums and organ and singing in the youth choir at a young age. Along with the influence of gospel greats like Kim Burrell, Smokie Norful and Israel Houghton, he looked up to secular superstars like Stevie Wonder, John Mayer and Paul McCartney. He released his first album, called Life Music, in 2012, when he was 23 years old, and since then has seen his career skyrocket. His live performances typically find him center stage, sharing the spotlight with only his golden singing voice, his righteous word and an acoustic guitar — a mesmerising, uplifting experience that will fill your soul.
One of our best Gospel concerts! Johnathon is a phenomenal Artist: Singer/Musician/Writer! His Band/Backup Singers & DJ all did a fantastic job! My husband and I will see him again!
I have been trying to see Jonathan McReynolds since he first cane to Detroit a few years ago. I am so glad I didn’t miss him again this time. I truly enjoyed myself. The concert was everything. It was exactly what I needed, truly spiritual!!!!
Jonathan takes you on the journey of life experiences, in which he makes you realize, everyone go through the same or similar situations. I am of the opinion that, a new wave of the Holy Spirit is awakening our brothers and sisters in Christ. Life isn't easy, we just keep moving towards the prize that is set before us. Jonathan McReynolds concerts is a must see Live, I would recommend him to everyone.

It was such a great experience, from beginning to the end. From DJ Malski hyping up the crowd with fun songs to hearing about the beautiful organization that Jonathan is apart. The ENTIRE set from Jonathan and his band, plus vocalist were so excellent. Even to their tech team, who did synchronized an awesome job. Jonathan is just an amazing musician, vocalist and performer. Well done to everyone involved and what a wonderful production and concert
I'm so glad this was my 1st concert. I felt God moving in+through this. Someone got proposed to, i made a new friend, truly a beautiful experience. Next time he's in my city, I'm going to see him again! Love you Jonathan!
Thank you Johnathan McReynolds for drawing me closer to God through your gospel songs. You were phenomenal💕 I did have to leave at 10….due to standing in such a long line to get in the venue. It was to start at 7….. they did not let us in until 7:30. I was so drained by the time I got in…I thought I was going to fall asleep. Also I bought paid seats and I felt sorry for all those people standing in that long line…only to get in….to stand up in general admission. This is not a venue I will ever return to. I also prepaid for parking…which I could never find…and I had to pay again at another parking garage😡
This concert was by far, the BEST concert that I have ever been too. I loved every minute. The energy the worship and praise was everything. The whole concert was a vibe!!!
This concert was spectacular, spirit filled, the atmosphere was charged and Johnathan McReynolds Delivered by the spirit of God.
Jonathan is an amazing, anointed minister of music. His sincerity in his worship of the Lord is apparent in his writing and performance. So much talent!! This is a family friendly, wonderful contemporary gospel music experience. I highly recommend it!

That concert was 🔥🔥🔥🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Gene Moore set it off by starting the fire, “SANGIN” sending us half way to to heaven, and Johnathan McReynolds back doored him and burned it all the way down, just SANGIN’ us CRAZY up in there!!!!! And I leave the MC/DJ out!!! He kept the audience pumped and hyped!!! He was awesome!!! ❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯‼️‼️‼️🔥🔥🔥 #LIT
From Beginning to end the show was Amazing i came down from Dallas to make sure i got a glimpse of the anointing John has on Him, Let me just say it did not disappoint.
This concert was amazing. It was supper life changing and I was in complete awe. Wow. Jonathan McReynolds did his thang!!
Jonathan always puts on a great concert. Enjoyed the energy, but did not appreciate the long wait to get into the building. It would have been easier to wait inside with the DJ.
Jonathan and his crew were amazing!! The dj was funny and entertaining but that outrageous line to enter in the building was a complete turnoff!
Jonathan was a master of the stage and the crew only elevated his performance. The lighting, the props, the dancing! The praise and worship took me back and I am a Jonny Mac traditionalist. 'Life Music' is my jam! He shared from most of his body of work and constructed it in such a way that even newcomers could enjoy! Masterfully done.
I absolutely enjoyed this concert and praise session. I can't rave enough about it! Would go again 11 out of 10 times okay!!!
It was everything, I enjoyed it . The DJ was off the chain, he had the crowd hyped be fore they brought out Jonathan McReynolds. The crowd was in sync with the entire worship experience .If he where to return I would have front seat attraction.
Jonathan McReynolds was Amazing. Most dynamic praise and worship experience. The audience was engaged from start to finish. His opening dj did a great job of getting us spiritually ready for Jonathan. This is not one you want to miss.
The concert was terrific. However, the venue did not plan for the number of people attending the concert. They ran out of food before the show started. I think they were counting on making their money on the sale of alcoholic drinks. My question is, Why sell alcoholic beverages at a gospel concert? They would have done better with the food sales.
